Mercure Paris Terminus Nord is across from Gare du Nord Train and Metro Station in central Paris.
Score from 3086 reviews Good
This hotel is conveniently placed near Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est train stations. All the soundproofed rooms were refurbished in 2007, and some boast a view of the Eiffel Tower.

Close to Gare du Nord, plenty of Bars & Restaurants around the area. Easy to access most of Sightseeing in Paris
No wifi in the room
Close to Gare du Nord. Value for money
rooms are a bit torn down and the bathroom has dirty angles
We stayed for 2 nights, in the first day the room was extreemly clean and the wifi network was excellent. On the second day (it was after one week) we found a lot of hair on the floor of the bathroom and the wifi connection was bad in our room. We were oblige to go out in order to get an excellent connection.
The rooms are not soundproof
It is near the main railway terminal and the buses I was a solo traveller using Paris' transport system therefore being close to a railway station was important Also close to City sightseeing bus facility
My own errors in travelling between Montmartre and my residence late at night when I went the wrong way and the confusion occasional;ly experienced leaving Gare du Nord
Very handy to Gare du Nord and easy to find. Staff very friendly and helpful
Room was very warm. If you had the windows open then you got the street noise. Closed and the room was very quiet.
My teenage daughter and I were looking for a inexpensive hotel close to Gare de Nord. This hotel is more like a B&B (if you order the breakfast of course). Does not include the services you get at the big corporation hotels. We got a room at the back, so there was no street noise. We liked: Friendly staff - enough English to get by. Breakfasts were enjoyable. Bed was comfortable. Building was 'authentic'. Has an elevator. VERY close to both Gare de Nord and Gare de Est.
Squeeky floor. One squeeky bed. Claustrophobic elevator.
Friendly staff, good location
Dated decor, basic breakfast
The location and the staff are very friendly.
Near to Paris De Nord railway station so easy access to other Europe cities
Outside the hotel very noisy as people on d opposite to hotel ,may b they stay on roads r other backpackers makes very loud noise, can't get sleep & inside room no airconditioners so if u open windows you can't get sleep
Nice hotel, value for money, nice location, good Wi-Fi - and helpful staff
The room is like home
view from window
the location- the staff- the cleanliness of the room, the modern bathroom, the quiet
The bathroom was clean.
Everything else. Extremely noisy. Staff quite unfriendly. No wifi, even though it was billed as having free wifi. Couldn't wait to check out.
Location is excellent. Close to Gare du Nord as we wanted it. That was the main reason. Staff was accomodating with baggage after check out.
Noise in the night. I know it was the July 21st party night and there is a bar across the street but very loud non stop group talk right below our room. No Air conditioner and sound proofing. Coudn't keep the window open due to the noise from down. Had a long flight from the US in the morning and had to get sleep that night so next morning could be fresh to see Paris. Slept at 4 am once the gang went away. Went twice downstairs and talked to the guy at the reception. He tried talking to them but no use. They didn't go and the Hotel staff was helpless. Ruined my sleep. Booked a 90 Euro room only to get some sleep and that didn't happen. On asking for a discount, hotel staff refused. No instructions on WIFI were given. No soap in the bathroom. Not recommended.
The only one I like from Hotel Paris Nord is the location, it is only a step away from Gare du Nord, even if you are traveling around Paris until midnight you can easily reach this hotel without taking any taxi. The young staff in this hotel is speaking English, but the elder is not.
The price is too high with the limited facilities.
Attentive staff and great service. Decent price for the location.
Rooms very basic and no frills. Needs a nice refresh of both facilities and room furnishings.
The location was why we choose the Hotel in the first place ......very convenient. The rate was good especially for Paris. The room and ensuite were very clean.
We did not receive a good reception from the lady at the desk in fact I was very much offended by certain comments she made to me! The breakfast room and the breakfast itself left a lot to be desired.....not to be recommended! My friend broke her arm whilst we were cycling from London to Paris and 'Madame' at reception put us on the sixth floor in a room with a very difficult to get in and out of shower - no consideration!
Location was very close to the Gare du Nord.
staff are friendly. Always more than willing to help you.
the floor. kind of producing eerie sound
The location was very good and close to the gare du nord station from where you can go anywhere in Paris.
Hotel was old and shabby, some of the stuff were not friendly. Wifi does not work. If they reboot the wifi then you might log in, otherwise we couldn't log into wifi at all. While location is very comfortable to move around one might not be comfortable to stay in the migrated people community.
Ideal hotel for tourists who only need a bed for the night, 5 minute walk from Gare du Nord for Eurostar and Metro.
Rooms are small and dated but we knew that when we booked
