Great location & friendly staff
Bathroom had a damp smell as I was told by another traveller that the same was in his bathroom
Friendly staff who speak English. Small clean rooms but it's only for sleeping anyway. Continental Breakfast is 10€ which I thinkis value for money.
Hussein at the front desk was very nice.
Small room, surly desk clerk, overpriced breakfast.
The hotel is in an excellent area, the rooms comfortable and clean, like the bed. Everyday went and changed our towels. The hotel in terms of quality and price for Paris is very good. Surely if we meet again in Paris where we will stay. We recommend it.
Location Staff It provides what u need for a vacation where you're all the day out and back to have some sleep .. But it's not what you want if you're looking to spend some time in the hotel as you will find nothing to do. So, it depends on what you're planning to do.
No kitchen facilities
Great food at chez julien Good bar Le Benjamin Overall excellent location
Every thing good
Great location Friendly staff Elevator up to our floor Great shower Decent hairdryer
(Too be very picky) Bath is a little small
Small, old but very clean and kozy hotel. The location is great, near to everywhere. Small restaurants and cafes all around. Everybody was very helpful and kind.
room was small and old, but the bathroom was new and clean.
Convenient location, old style Parisian hotel which has been updated. Comfortable, if small room but nice big bathroom.
No kettle materialised in spite of being promised!
It is close to everything and a lot of good restaurantes.
The price but that Paris.
Not to be noticed.
Good location Friendly, polite staff Clean and comfortable Close to Metro
Nothing that I didn't like.
Friendliness of staff + location
- Wi-Fi must work!!!!! since I was there on business
The hotel's excellent location, staff was great and helped with advice and guidance. The hotel is very suitable for couples but not for families .
The rooms are small but clean and the price is very fair.
Perfect location Value for money Lovely little hotel Will definitely book again
Very close to metro. Staff helpful and friendly. Nice area
Very decent hotel, with very friendly staff. Excellent location, within a walking distance to a lot of Paris attractions and a metro stop.
After many times in Le Marais district, this was the best reasonable-priced little hotel so far. Got a nice double room from the 5th floor for only myself, and the room was very neat and the bed very good. Wi-fi & air-conditioning functioned perfectly (which is not always the case in Paris). The location is also perfect for any Marais-lover!
If you're not willing to pay much for your night(s) in Paris, I must say this hotel is nothing extraordinary, but with 100 € per night it was a lot better deal in Marais compared to some other places where I have slept. The view to the backyard was of course not that special, but I didn't mind, as Rue du Rivoli is quite hectic and noisy.
I liked Houcien! She was lovely and accommodating and allowed us to check in 3 hours early! Fabulous to walk outside the hotel and be surrounded by cheese, chocolate and artisan bread shops!
My 5 year old son took one look at our tiny dark, twin bed room and said "yuk- I hate it! I can't sleep here" And as we are generally intrepid, budget travellers I think he had a point. HOWEVER I was too jet lagged to request an alternative room and we made the best of it.
Within walking distance of major attractions or the buses, metros or taxis that can take the less athletically ambitious to these destinations. The young female German concierge on duty always went the extra mile. Breakfast is available for those in a hurry.
It was a great location with lots of store and places to eat. Very close to some must see sights. Staff were very friendly and spoke English. The room was small but was enough.
The shower in our room didn't work properly. The room we had was very dark and wished there was either more sunlight or brighter lights in the room. There was only curtains and no net curtains so it might the room very dark when we needed to close the curtains.
The location is perfect and the staff is helpful. Our bathroom offered ample space,a luxury in Paris.
Considering the food offered, breakfast at the hotel is quite expensive. However, there are plenty of shops in the area where one can start the day with a hot drink.
Terrific location. Very much what I was hoping for in a small tourist hotel. Although not inexpensive, I felt I got my moneys worth. Great bathroom. Nice room and good continental breakfast. Staff were uniformly pleasant, A good experience!
I would have preferred the breakfast to be included considering the cost of the room - but, to their credit, they only charged you for the days ypu ate it. A few minor things (mini fridge was a bit finicky) but really, I thought the place was just great and would certainly recommend it!!
Centrally located for where we wanted to be.
