The girl at the reception was very nice and tried to be helpful.
Dirty cover on the sofa, cobwebs in the corners, towels as hard as sandpaper. Sewer smell in the bathroom. Dark gloomy hallways. No working phones, nothing in the mini fridge and not even plucked in even tho they state there is a mini bar. Do not waste your money in this place. The owner would not even talk to me when I wanted to discuss my concerns but continued on with his eating. The girl at the reception was very nice. Reception only open for a few hours. This makes it very difficult to resolve any issues as their phones are not working.
Location is good, restaurant in the hotel is excellent.
Have stayed before but our room was much smaller this time. Bathrooms need an update. We had to leave early but had to wait until 8:30 for Reception to open because we were late checking in and Reception was closed. Reception person was late and didn't arrive until 8:45.
. Enjoyed the ambiance of the breakfast area, but limited choice . Tariff was very reasonable given that we were in holiday season. . Receptionists spoke Engish well and were very helpful . Would only recommend if take room on 2nd floor (but lots of stairs and no lifts)
. When we arrived at 12noon, no-one at reception - note was that she would not be in till 4pm. . All booking slips for other guests were on reception desk for guests to take, but ours was not. . We were given the last room in the hotel, which was very basic - no room to even put cases on ground. Bed coverings quite shabby. . Ensuite extremely small & cramped. . No other rooms to change to as all full. . Unless you have a car, this hotel is a long way from the main areas of Menton. So if a nice night can walk, but if raining, most unpleasant. Buses few and far between. . Phone was not working in our room - had to make urgent calls. . Lots of stairs and no lifts. No-one to help with bags etc. . No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Ordered tea and were charged. . Would have liked to have received info on places of interest nearby.
Rooms nice, reasonable size. Good location overlooking the sea and restaurant was excellent
Bathroom could do with a bit of updating and it would be great to have a hook for the handheld shower
Very "French". Pleasant staff. Very clean. Ideal location for the port of Garavan .15 minutes walk from Menton centre.
No lift. Very sparse breakfast with no choice.
We were a family of five. The suite aspect of room was a nice feature. The bathroom and shower were great. It was a nice mix of modern and and old in the hotel decor. The staff was helpful.
It was a bit of a walk into town but nothing too strenuous. Some people might complain about that but we were fine. The only down side was not having a coffee maker in the room.
no help with bags to room and very difficult to park car near to hotel. Room was very dusty and noisy.
The only good thing about the Logis Hotel is the location and the bed.
The hotel is vastly over priced for what it is. Whilst the rooms are sound proofed there is very little else going for it. The TV 40" had broken the day before we arrived so instead of repairing it, they put a 17" TV (maybe even smaller). When I complained to the receptionist, she said "You have a TV", as it was my partners birthday I didn't pursue this any further. The bathroom had no shower curtain, the tiles were cracked and extremely old. There was no Fire prevention the ceilings still have polystyrene tiles (highly flammable). The bar was never open to grab a drink in the mornings or evenings. There are much better hotels around and I would recommend these above this hotel.
Close to Monaco
A little expensive for the quality of the hotel. A little dated
