Novotel Survilliers Saint Witz  

I stayed in Novotel different locations, this was the worst experience. Starting with staff, ending with "french" hygiene. One maybe two stars with indulgence.

Small boutique size hotel, great food.Staff/guest ratio appealling.

Away from town, but good location to airport.

Nothing.

The taxis (2) could not find it, on the basis of the booking.com form. The room was cold -- the air conditioning did not work. The evening staff was unhelpful. I had to ask him 5 times about the heating (or rather lack of). The decor was poor. The location was terrible. The location was no where near where I wanted to be (Booking.com said it was within 5 km).

The availability of soccer balls and sports equipment. The xbox game in the lobby. The breakfast.

It was hard to find.

Convenience for visiting Parc Asterix - hotel provided a free shuttle bus there and back. Secure car park on-site of hotel. Receptionist spoke very good English.

Pool to cold for kids to enjoy for long

The Novotel Survilliers in general was good for our family because it was in a peaceful and quiet area. They had games and books for kids, and a swimming pool to use if the weather was warm. You definitely, need a car to be at this HOTEL! Far away from everything. The RER Fosses de Gare is 5 mins. away by taxi.

The Hotel address should be written differently since it is off a Highway, as A1 D16 Survilliers, 95470 and in brackets (Lille, exit number 7) Hotel is far away from the city if you have no car. The girl at the reception was more informative than the man when asking for directions to go downtown.

Close to park Asterix - but we managed to get a better price at the hotel situated right next to Parc Asterix and moved from the Novotel Hotel

Too close to the motorway. Not a charming neighbourhood

Bed comfort was excellent. Great location to visit Asterix Park. The expresso machine in the room was amazing. Very clean. Free parking.

Breakfast was not included, so the breakfast buffet was overpriced. Also a lady at the front desk was not very nice, the same with the breakfast lady, but the rest of the personal were more polite and friendly.

Location near the motorway was good. Breakfast was nice.

The toilet smelled like it hadn't been washed and public areas of the hotel were not that clean or tidy with bar tables left uncleared and rubbish on the floor. We had dinner at the hotel but felt like we were being ripped off at every opportunity. For example, we asked for a bottle of water and instead of being given a choice of the 30cl, 50cl or 100cl options, we were just brought the most expensive one. When we checked out, we were given the bill and it seemed higher than expected. We didn't query it at the time, because our original online booking receipt had been retained by the guy at check in and so we didn't have any documentation to challenge them with. On returning home and checking our emails, we found that the price charged was about twice what we had done through www.booking.com.

I was given the impression this hotel is near the ariport and it was not, as matter of fact I had to pay 60 Euro to get to the airport from there,

The rooms were comfortable and sufficient for a city trip

Nice restaurant Companelle in just 800 meters, hotel is near motorway.

Slow and inattentive staff, poor cleanliness, poor breakfast, bar is open until 11PM only, internet connection is not stable.
