The staff were very rude, i booked my room via booking.com and my room wasn't ready till the next day! They said that there is no booking under my name!!

The location is perfect, right next to metro Saint-Placide. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is very nice and new, and modern.

All round great hotel. Very chic design. Good sized room for Paris standards. Very helpful and friendly staff who gladly provided help and information. No noise at night because of the side-street location (even in the street-facing rooms). Beds very comfortable (a twin room is two singles). Very modern but retaining some charm. Room cleaned to a high standard every day with fresh linen and towels. Tea/coffee replenished every day. Tv channels mostly in French, but plenty of English-speaking news channels to keep up to date. Excellent location - close enough to the tourist attractions without being stuck in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Right beside St Placide Metro station with links to Gare du Nord and lle de la Cite - and all the other attractions. Direct links from nearby Montparnasse Station to Versailles. Loads of nice bars, restaurants and cafes, and only a 5-10 minute walk into the heart of Saint Germain and the Quartier Latin for all the really good eateries. Also very safe location. Yes, there are probably cheaper hotels that are as good, but this is a reputable brand for a reasonable price - I would definitely stay again. If you want a good, safe, all-round option, this is for you . . .

We didn't try breakfast as it was a little expensive (£18 buffet), but that doesn't matter because of the mass of patisseries and boulangeries nearby. Also the hotel bar/food menu was a little expensive - but again, you shouldn't eat or drink in the hotel when there are so many great bars and restaurants close by. Also, the large window from the bedroom into the bathroom was a quirky feature for us. There is a shutter so, by tactically turning off some lights, it wasn't a problem for us. But it might be a problem if you're a little shy or if you aren't necessarily very close to the person you're staying with!

This hotel is functional , with a contemporary design ( although rooms are small they meet the requirements of a short stay).Location is great for the Metro (St Placide Metro) making visits to St Germaine , Notre Dame districts very easy .

Previous reviews indicated that the hotel location was good for visits to the Eiffel Tower , however we found this not to be the case ( unless you took the Batobus river transport , from Notre Dame.

Clean, accessible, our room was tight and clean evrey afternoon after our return to hotel
