The location is central while remaining out of the crowds. Subway is just across from the hotel which is handy for getting around.
We waited nearly 30 minutes to check in as there was a power outage in the hotel. Lobby is very nice, but the hotel itself upstairs is fairly run down. A change of carpet and a lick of paint on the walls wouldn't go to waste.
But the breakfast is so poor with very high price. Not worthy.
Very good location. The subway station is just outside the hotel, and nearby is a supermarket.
The air-conditioner doesn't work, even after we have already asked the maintanence to fix it.
The facilities in the room were great. The breakfast was well worth the money. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom, lovely staff.
The reception staff Joanna and Carol were really friendly and helpful and patient.
Housekeeping was a bit erratic and cooking equipment was lacking.
The staff were friendly and very helpful giving us direction to find our way around the main town and bus and rail services should we have needed them.
A very strong foul smell in the underground parking area.
Rooms were specious and equiped with everything required by business traveler. The hotel is just outside metro which is big +
Not many options around for food.
Big room, very well equipped, at the exit of metro station! Didn't try the breakfast
When we arrived to the room there was small Nescafe sachet, at the second day we asked for more and salt, but the receptionist was not able to find for us! The second bedroom was very bad. The bed was barely done and they smoked inside the room (rest of cigarettes on the window). Wi-fi was barely working!
Next to metro and grocery store.
Heating in the room was hardly working and also not friendly service.
Easy access to the underground
Non Communication on issue with air con and poor way of dealing with issue
Location, breakfast, and very friendly staff
The lift did not work the whole stay and we have to use the stairs. Also, the Hotel need to invest urgently to renovate facilities and do some maintenance work.
Excellent location across subway..fairly spacious suites
Was not suitable for a self catering stay as the kitchen was very basic and there wasn't even a kettle or coffee maker available
Only one towel for three people
Black faced unhelpful manager offers no help. Motion sensor lights that turn on only at when you walk past the main corridors. Lights does not work. No extra blanket when requested. Poor location, old dinghy hotel. Note even worth 2 stars, maybe 1. Mostly unfriendly to non-French speaking visitors.
Friendly staff, fabulous location with the metro right outside the door! Clean and comfortable rooms. Convenient to a nearby supermarket. Parking under the hotel for 15 euro a day.
The fact that although we had rented an "aparthotel" room which came with a kitchenette, and limited saucepans, plates (no bowls) and cutlery, the hotel did not include dishwashing liquid, sponges, tea towels - that was an extra 5 euro!
quite far from town centre and attractions
Just next to the subway station 24x7 front desk Value for money
Unclear if breakfast was included in night rate or if it was 13€ extra
The room was clean and beds are comfortable.
I did not like the way the hallway looked when i got out of the evalator. The carpet was really dirty and dark. I was scared when i walked downstairs to car garage and the lights didnt come on automatically until few seconds. It was creepy..
Metro station, room's size is good enough..
Breakfast is poor..
it had a roof and some walls that meant i didnt have to sleep on the street and it was cheap. dont bother with other reviews of people complaining. It was cheap, and good!
staff - friendly and helpful. kictenette - useful room - comfortable
room not cleaned for 3 days. towels not changed for 5 days of my stay.
The kitchenette was great, and clean. The floors were linoleum, and mopped daily, so also very clean. The wifi connection was fast and problemless. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the ENS, and somewhat far from the city center, but situated directly over a metro station.
The walls had strange stains, and mold stains. The noise of traffic, from the large and busy road, was audible in the room from 6am each day. The desk staff could not make change.
Reasonably priced. The reception staff were very helpful and nice to know they are there 24hrs.
The rooms were very basic; tiny, hot and noisy. The hotplates and utensils provided was like being on a camping trip, only the barest essentials, no washing up detergent or tea towel even. Very small and basic rooms, with three adults there was no room to move past each other or put our bags away. Dark dingy corridors that smelled of disinfectant to hide dirt and smells. Noisy traffic noise. Well away from city and tourist spots but accessible by good tram system. Lyon itself was crowded, dirty and very minimal attractions. Old town quite interesting though.
Loved having a kitchen in hotel rooms and the proximity of the grocery store. In the case of participation in a multi-day conference is the need to work in a hotel during the day or come to him late at night. You can prepare your dinner to your liking. Rooms at the hotel is very spacious, even for two people, very close to the exit of the hotel is an entrance to the subway.
