Set in Aix-en-Provence’s Mazarin district, this historical mansion is just a 5-minute walk from the famous Cours Mirabeau. You can relax by the fireplace in the lounge or have a drink from the bar on the shaded patio. L'Hotel Particulier 28 à Aix offers rooms and suites with an iPod docking station and a CD player. Decorated in a contemporary style, they also include free Wi-Fi access, an LCD TV and a DVD player. A continental breakfast is provided every morning on the large patio or in the lounge. You can also request for breakfast to be served to the comfort of your guest room. Private parking is available on site and with an additional cost. Other local attractions include walking the 5 minutes to the Natural History Museum or even driving to Marseille, 29 km away. The host was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It was difficult to negotiate our hire car down the narrow streets and she parked our car for us. We were also given an upgrade. Locationwise - couldn't be better!

Beautifully decorated rooms, each different, with strikingly beautiful bathrooms, rich silk curtains, handsome paintings and decorations on the walls. Wonderful bed and linens; family room with tv overlooking the garden for hanging out and relaxing. Excellent accueil, friendly, attentive; wonderful breakfast. Location couldn't be better: right down the street from the main drag, the Cours Mirabeau. We'll definitely return!

Great location, beautifully decorated b & B. Our room had a terrible smell. Previous posters have noted this. Such a shame because this is a great find otherwise. Maybe it is just room #2.

Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse et la bienveillance de Michel, le maitre de maison. Situation idéale en CV pour ce trés bel hotel particulier. Chambre spacieuse décorée avec des superbes tentures. Mention trés bien pour le petit déjeuner. "Vous êtes chez vous" dit Michel !

Excellent accueil et disponibilité, on se sent immédiatement comme à la maison avec le service en plus accompagné du sourire et de la chaleur humaine. La rue un peu bruyante si on veut dormir les fenêtres ouvertes.

A very attractive guest house with Sophia and Michel providing the warmest and most hospital of assistance and welcome to the village. Very comfortable room, bed, with new bathroom facilities and luxurious shower. The sitting room and breakfast areas were very attractive and eclectic in design helping to fit the Aix-en-Provence experience. We will certainly aim to stay there again, its location and style was really outstanding. The plumbing was oddly noisy, and likely the result of unusual drain line features or materials.

Séjour délicieux dans une belle maison patricienne du 18e. Extrême soin du décor et du détail et service aussi précis qu'attentionné. Sans doute ce que l'on peut trouver de mieux à Aix en ce moment sur ce type de prestations.
