The residence is very close to central Cannes, about 100 metres to Rue d'Antibes, although not down the main restaurant end. It has excellent parking, although you pay extra for this, and we had a good sized apartment with modernish bathroom and toilet, good kitchen with all the appliances you would need including small dishwasher, full sized, excellent washing machine, and large ironing board etc. Bed was very comfortable.
Internet signal came and went and I had to completely shut down and restart several times over the week and signal was often quite weak, taking some time to load. In general there seemed to be a problem with the electricity, on a number of occasions we were caught out in the corridor with no lights and no external windows, one light switch was quite temperamental and the external roller blinds only worked when they decided they wanted to. Having said that we had a lovely week in the apartment as a real home away from home. The balcony was a real us as was the supportive staff.
Lots of space. Everything you need. Nice and clean.
The shower was kind of funky. Shower curtain came around you in a circle while you're standing in the tub and wanted to cling to you while showering.
Great staff. spoke good English. Met one on our way into town the first day. She showed us where to go on our map and was very helpful. Location is good. About 15 minute walk to the public beach. Lots of great restaurants close by. Try La Brouette de Grand'Mere (Grandmother's Wheelbarrow!). Wifi was generally good. Faded a couple of times but came right back. Was able to watch Netflix no problem. Large excellent shopping centre called Casino just around the corner. We bought and cooked lots of tasty goodies. Our apartment had a large veranda facing south and a smaller one off the master bedroom facing north. Full size roll down shutters endure a dark and peaceful sleep. Room was very quiet. All in all, we really enjoyed our 10 day stay at La Residence de Bel Air and would recommend it.
modern and quiet area.
our apt. didnt get the sun because of large trees . also no sun beds on our balcony.quite a long distance to shops and sea front.
This is the 3rd time we've stayed at the bel air. We don't mind walking as it's about a 10 minute walk from la croisette. Super clean retro appartments with brilliant balconies. We definitely would recommend this place to stay. Emeli and the technician were very helpful. Many thanks also to booking.com
Really liked everything.
equipment of the apartment service
Apartment was very nice. Big, Clean. Next time i go there for sure. I have recommended to my friends too. 10 mins walk to the beach is not much. Enjoy it!
Great location, at walking distance from the city centre (Croisette/beach), the train station and the shopping area. A useful supermarket only ~200m away. Staff very friendly, they promptly fixed the wardrobe door.
There were ants in the kitchen. Safe was locked and nobody came to unlock it.
Friendly cleaning staff! Very helpful. Good value for money, good location with a supermarket nearby.
Mattress were not comfortable
