Had dinner at the Italian restaurant at the hotel. We reviewed the menu and placed our orders. We received dishes that were different than what we had ordered. I had ordered the gnocchi with red pesto and gorgonzola. I received gnocchi with gorgonzola, some basil, and prawn shrimp on top. We were all confused and the food deliverer insisted this is what I ordered. I am a vegetarian so I pulled the shrimp off and gave to my friends. Our waiter came over and asked what was the problem--I got the gnocchi I ordered. I told the waiter that I had ordered the gnocchi with red pesto because I am a vegetarian. He said that that was an old menu and they don't have that anymore and looking at my plate (minus the prawns) he said "look--it's vegetarian". And he turned around and walked away. Needless to say, I was thrilled to pay 14.90 Euro for a "vegetarian" dish that cost more than the seafood pasta my friend had (which was also different from the old menu). I was happy to not leave a tip for the waiter. That all being said, at least the food was good.
Also, the hot water pressure in our room (#61) was barely a trickle. The cold water pressure was just fine, but as soon as you turned the faucet in the bath to the middle and towards the hot, the pressure dropped significantly. The warm water came out at barely a trickle. It took 30 minutes to get the bath 1/3rd full. There wasn't even enough pressure to turn the showerhead on. Besides the lack of pressure, the knob for the showerhead wouldn't stay screwed on, and the entire fixture wasn't secured to the tub. This couldn't be a new issue and it's disappointing we had to deal with this. Upon notifying the front desk staff, they simply said thank you for letting them know. They wrote the info in a log book and there was no offer for even a partial refund.
The front desk staff were very nice at check-in and check-out. Also helpful that they spoke English. The rooms had all the basic essentials, modern furnished, clean. There was only one outlet in the entire room and that was next to the desk (none in the bathroom). The breakfast buffet was a great deal for just 9 extra Euro for our 2 night stay. All the basics of a European cold breakfast (fresh breads, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, cereals/muesli, fruits, juice, coffee, etc). They also had one heated item which was sausages (hot dogs).
