Extremely close to metro station, ideal for city trips. Staff was very sympathetic. Parking available closeby for reasonable price.

Hotel Staff is always willing to help everybody, so friendly and nice. The Metro station (Jourdan) is really in a few steps from Hotel entry - very convenient! A lot of stores (including a big grocery mall) and restaurants just around a corner (2-6 minutes walking)!! I was not satisfied about a bathroom - too small, but anyway it was good place to stay (for good price!).

We liked the excellent location of Hotel De La Perdrix Rouge: close to Park Buttes Chaumont and Park de la Vilette. And in the midst of nice restaurants, metro-stops and supermarkets. We stayed for four nights. By the thirds and fourth night it became apparent that the beds of Hotel De La Perdrix Rouge are absolutely terrible. The beds will assure severe and sustaining back-and neck pains; this is an unfortunate very big minus, as the hotel is very pleasant and customer oriented.

very close to my brother, his family and the train station. In a nice neighborhood with plenty of good and interesting local shops close by. Paris Metro is terrific so from there all in the center is accessible. Room was incredibly tiny, mattress lumpy, lobby ultra basic and front desk personnel too busy on the phone to help. Moslty though it was the thump thump thump of music blaring from the bar below till all hours that killed me. Guess the prices are reasonable for what you get (again, think ULTRA BASIC) but if you are noise sensitive, no take that back, if you have ears that work, don't stay here unless they agree to put you high up or in the back. On the plus side, I did say I couldn't handle it after the first night. I agreed to stay the second and they let me off the third with no charge. So I do give them credit for that.

Free internet access, and no charge to leave luggage for the day after checking out of the hotel. There was a lift that worked, the bathroom was lovely and clean, and the environment was peaceful and quiet so that I got a good night's rest.

50 meters from the metro (Jourdain-line 11), cheap and basic hotel. I didn't have the breakfast, because on the opposite side of the street there's a wonderful shop of any kind of bread and a bar for coffee. Quite clean, staff nice and avaliable 24/7. There's a little coffee machine and vending machine for water and soft drinks. Towels are changed everyday, they clean the room everyday (also doing the bed). My triple room was little, but fine to sleep and take a shower. Bathroom was very clean. Jourdain is 6 stops from Chatelet station (10 minutes). So it's not in downtown, but if you want to save some money it's a great solution.

Very close to the subway, altough it is in a distant neighbourhood. Single rooms are nice if you just want to sleep. Breakfast (charged separately) is fair: baguettes, croissants, ham, cheese, cereal, orange juice, coffe and milk. English speaking staff. Really small elevator, about 50cm x 50 cm. Small shower box, about 70x70 cm Cleaning could be better. Surfaces are clean, but some corners of the walls have black mold spots between the tiles. Right in front of a church, the bells might botehr some people. No air conditioning and the radiator is awkward to reach and adjust.

. Besides that the hotel is ok - the rooms are small and practical (good that there's a minibar), the hot water is running 24h a day. Metro is right at the entrance of the hotel (you don't hear it), free wifi (yet the user and pass have to be updated everyday). Usually when people say a hotel is "too loud" I don't care, since the hotel is only a place to sleep and rest from the busy day. However, this hotel is really noisy and you practically hear everything from outside and inside the hotel - so you don't get any rest at night. Only because of that I would recommend this hotel (if there was air conditioning, and the windows could be closed at night - then its not too bad. But with windows open its impossible to sleep - party from the bar untill late at night, garbage men early in the morning, oh yes, there's also a church on the other side of the road (8 meters) so you kinda hear the bells (in case you want to have a good night sleep.)

I am a very easy to please traveler. I just need a clean bathroom, clean sheets, and a room conducive to a good night's sleep. By 6:00 in the morning I was on the Internet looking for a new hotel. The area of town is far from the city center. I was prepared to travel each day for a reduced hotel rate, but I didn't expect homeless people sleeping in the churchyard across the street. There is no air conditioning so you must sleep with the windows open. This means you hear people at the bar until 2am and trucks on the street by 5:30, and that was a Saturday morning! There are few places to eat late at night, and the neighborhood does not feel safe. A local man asked us "what people from Oregon think of this part of Paris.". He clearly knew something we didn't know. In short, spend more money and enjoy your trip to Paris!

Location! Less than 25m from metro station Jourdain, supermarket within 100m, other stores nearby. Nice family owned and operated place, which makes it easy to request things. Excellent price to quality relation, particularly for Paris. If you are looking for a good, affordable and well located hotel, this is it! The fact that I did not stay in this nice, cozy hotel when we first got to Paris. We stayed in a place in Nanterre that I do not recommend to my dogs!

location, location, location....this was a 2 Metro trip from RER B airport, right to the 11. Get off at Metro Jourdain stop go up the stairs and walaa you are at the hotel. The staff was very helpful, didn't speak much english but accommodated all our needs. Don't worry, about breakfast they are more than happy to not bill you but you need to let them know you are not taking it. I will always stay here at this hotel because you will be in the heart of residential Paris, and can get anywhere by Metro! So many bakeries and restaurants and local markets all there. Stop by the market first, get your waters and fruit, then go get your baguettes from the bakery and you will pay half the price you would in all the touristy spots. The only thing was the bed was stiff. But, for $107 Euros a night, and the location ask for extra pillows and you will be fine.
