The location was ideal for my husband & I as our son was playing for England in the World School Tennis Championships in Le Touquet.....& England won! We brought out bicycles over from England with us & it was an ideal way of getting around....not only to & fro to the Tennis Centre, but also around the beautiful town of Le Touquet (even to the restaurants in the evenings) & along the lovely coastal path. It was also convenient being self catering as we could not only prepare food for ourselves, but also fill bagettes for hungry tennis players! We also enjoyed relaxing in the pool area & using the tennis court. The apartments are certainly in need of refurbishment, although well appointed. A small 'on site' shop would be helpful for basic requirements such as bread, milk, butter, cereals etc. Being able to order bagettes was helpful although we couldn't understand why they were not available on a Wednesday!!.....apparently the bakery was closed that day, but others were open. The man on duty had a much more pleasant manner than the women, who spoke better english, but was more abrupt & made us feel we were an inconvenience at times. Noise levels late at night were a problem on a couple of nights.

Good location, secure parking & the swimming pool Apartment far too small, even though we are 2 adults & one 2 year old. The walls throughout were disscusting, especially in the kichen & toilet area. To use the toilet we had to leave the door open, as your knees touched the door whilst sitting down, and we are not the tallest of people.

Warm welcome from staff. Great location for easy access to Le Touquet. Second stay at the hotel and it's starting to look a bit scruffy compared to last time.

We liked our apartment which was in a good clean order. My son particularly enjoyed the swimming pool. The carpets need replacing and a general tidy up of paintwork.

Excellent location, both in terms of proximity to Le Touquet's centre and the peaceful setting. A sensibly-designed room (good use of space to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children comfortably). Good value-for-money. The apartment's cooking facilities were barely adequate for making breakfast, let alone a family meal. Parts of the apartment were poorly cleaned when we arrived, in particular the children's bunk room which was dusty. Some of the fittings are showing their age, and require better maintenance (eg cracks in kitchen work surface and a continuously filling toilet cistern).

Fab location. 20 mins walk to town / beach. Pretty side of le t near to the horse stables and river estuary. Pool good for children and even the little play area was enough to keep them happy for an hour or so. Rooms ok. We were 6. 2 adults, 2 16 year old and 2 toddlers. We were in the double, little ones in bunk beds in a separate room and remainder on sofas (ok). Kitchen area - good hob, combi microwave. Big enough table to all sit round. Good quality Bread and croissants could be ordered for each morning. Staff (woman) unfriendly - bit scary!! A little noisy when weekend guests arrived . Lots of running around the corridors.

Spacious apartment, very clean, nice pool, good location for beach and town. Ideal for families. Free car parking and lots of room. Tennis should be free and not 10euro per hour. A bar would have been nice. Bike hire was overpriced.

Excellent value for money. Enjoyed the 15 minute walk to and from the centre of town. Apartment had everything in it that we wanted including a dishwasher. Would definitely book into this apartment complex again. Bikes for hire. Board games provided but Monopoly had no dice in the box so had to use the I Phone!! Beds in bedroom comfortable but sofa bed very uncomfortable as we both fell into the middle! Could only receive emails on wifi but could not send. Wifi costs 2 euros per day.

Nice location and impressive building. Ample secure parking. Room had a balcony and limited self catering facility which included a fridge for chilling your French wine. 20 minute walk into town through nice quiet suburbs. Supposed to be a room for four people but it was lucky there were only two of us. Wouldn't have liked to fit another two people in there.

Our apartment was on the ground floor, accessible to the gardens, a playground ( for our toddler ) and the indoor swimming pool ( which was great . We had the hotel ( with decent bar an and reasonable restaurant ) within easy walking distance and Le Touquet ( which is brilliant ) on the doorstep. Great value for money

The lady on reception was rude and generally unhelpful. We hired bikes for two days and we were checking out on the second day....computer says no!!! Even though we had paid a 400 Euro deposit we couldn't use the bikes after check out and so that ruined our last day. Our car would have been in the car park etc. This individual had no people skills whatsoever and is clearly in the wrong job. The room was very basic and just above camping, Butlins in France without the redcoats!! We got into the room and it was full of flies by the end of our two night stay we had killed 11 flies. The main advantage of this development is it's location it is next to the equestrian centre, hence the flies. It's such a shame because this hotel could be superb but it's now tired and the staff are laughable. The pool is great for the kids and for a budget self catering break it's worth a go but go armed with fly spray and expect no service whatsoever.

relatively small kind of ressort; many families, quiet nights; has potential everything a bit minimalist, including the attitude of the - minimum - staff, and the size of the apartments, mainly focussed on french guests; some of the common areas (e.g. laundry room) were really filthy.

This was my 3rd visit, I love the place. However just 2 points: 1. the difference in size between 3/4 and 4/5 is vast and we had a corner apartment which made it a little cramped. 2. the bedding for the sofa bed is limited and I was cold with just a sheet and blanket, would have prefered a duvet as the other beds had. Apart from that all good.

Although the hotel is about 15/20 minutes walk to the centre of Le Tourquet the setting is fine. The walk to town is a pleasant one and on a good weather day it is worth taking the long way round taking in the North Beach area. Our party of 3 stayed in a room for 4/5 persons on the ground floor. We found that the facilities were good with the combined small kitchen/lounge/dining area suited our requirements. There was sufficient cutlery and crockery etc with a microwave, fridge and hob. The bathroom was a good size and the whole occupied area was clean and fresh. We had the added bonus of being able to use the outside area and gained access to this via the patio door, we could have done with another outside chair though. The car parking facilities were excellent and the hotel protected via an entry code sytem. I and my friends would certainly recommend this place and we will, without doubt, be staying there again. Only one area in that I wish we had known that there were so many items in the room, such as kettle, microwave, glasses etc etc, perhaps a little more pro active selling of the facilities would be appropriate.

The hotel has a relaxed feel, with friendly staff, and rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Despite arriving at a busy time (Easter) we were delighted to be given an upgraded room! The indoor pool was generally busy but large and heated, with a decent sized shallow end for the kids.

The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Easy to check in and left alone to look after yourself, which we liked. Good position next to estuary and easy walk into town. Excellent bathroom and loads of hot water. Small sitting area for 4/5 people. Noisy chairs scraped on floor on above apartment all the time. Otherwise, was quiet. Woken up on weekday mornings by bulldozers on site at racing course, quite early!

“We had a very enjoyable stay and only wish we could afford to do it more often. The hotel was lovely and our room was a very decent size. The town is also a great place and we enjoyed going for a long walk at the beach. Love it!” Cheryl, Merstham, Redhill |
