Set on the Corniche and across from the Criques de Porteils, this art designer hotel is just over a quarter mile from the Racou Beach and just under 1 mile from the historic center of Collioure.
Score from 448 reviews Very good
Hôtel Le Cottage is located between Argelès-sur-Mer and France’s southwest sandy beaches. It offers a heated outdoor pool, a jacuzzi and a hammam.
Score from 286 reviews Excellent
Just 1700 ft from the center of Collioure and a 10-minute walk from the beach is Hotel Madeloc. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, a rooftop solarium and a jacuzzi.
Score from 321 reviews Very good
Situated 165 yards from the beach and a lovely pine tree forest, this family-run hotel is in a peaceful and comfortable setting.
Score from 134 reviews Very good
What a beautiful setting, a warm welcome and a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast couldn't be faulted and the glass of wine on arrival was a nice touch
Sorry to say this but it was the basics that let it down. Just not very clean, dust everywhere, window and mirror dirty and garden and courtyard a bit unloved, just not as good as I was expecting
Liked the location just a little away from the main town centre, the lovely pool area and the classic art deco style of the place. Great private car park for our classic cars. Not super luxurious but very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.
Hard to criticize, would have been great to have the option of an evening meal as it's not easy to find a restaurant which can take a party of 18 people in the summer. No wifi in the rooms. But in general, a great hotel.
The room we had was fantastic, views of the sea and also over the pine wood. The room was large and the balcony was huge. A lovely swimming pool. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. A place we would certainly stay again.
As we were in a group of classic cars we welcomed the secure car park at no extra coast. Though we didn't use it the hotel has a super swimming pool and the rooms at the front of the hotel has balconies with excellent sea views. The hotel did not serve dinner, but we dined at the bar across the road, very convenient. We also skipped breakfast as we were on a tight schedule and needed an early start.
As with almost all French hotels and B&Bs there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Booking.com should use their influence to change this.
Very friendly staff, excellent location, pool
No bar, the food at the beach bar is not very good
Quite room and easy to rest. Clean facility
I believe relationship between price and facility is not adequate. I.e.: rooms had no internet access, TV was not comfortable to look at since was not facing the bed.
It's virtually on the beach, and our room was spacious and clean. The car park is across the road but it is a secure area and is locked at night.
No restaurant but with a variety of restaurants and bars close by this was no problem for us.
Pool was good. Very well located for both beach and town. Breakfast buffet had wide selection. Though no evening bar in hotel, there is a nice bar directly opposite.
we like the pool area, we liked our room, the breakfast was good, the wifi worked in a communal area, we liked the puerto rican lady on reception she was very nice and helpful, sorry don't know her name . we really like this area it was our second visit to this hotel.
i thought the reception staff were quite rude especially a young dark haired women. she did not say hello or goodbye she just stared at us , the staff were so nice last year so for that reason we will not go back.
Very clean Quiet, but close to amenities Courteous informative, helpful staff
Could do with a bar Wifi in rooms
The pool, breakfasts, light airy rooms, excellent staff, immediate access to beach.Even had UK plug adaptors!
The hotel serves lunches in high season- it was a pity these are not continued into September.Otherwise all was fine, save we think bike hire policy and pricing should be reviewed
Free parking. Good location for walking along the coast and to the nearby restaurants. Free storage of luggage. Free access to a computer and a printer.
A poorly configured room with a large pillar immediately against the bed preventing access to the bedside table, making it difficult to get out of bed on one side.
Room, bathroom, balcony with sea & mountains view, friendliness of the staff, private parking, seashore very close.
breakfast good but lacking fish products (strange at the seaside) and diet food
Delightfully friendly, family run hotel with excellent staff and a lovely relaxed holiday feel. Comfortable, homely rooms without the slick or impersonal feel of business hotels. Rooms facing the ocean have great views. Argeles sur Mer is a lovely largeish village, and only a 40 minute walk from the hotel.
I was there in August and Argeles Plage is probably at its worst over that summer period. Full of camping sites, more than anywhere in Europe I was told, with all of the fun fairs and markets and loud crowds that comes with it. Including the fights and early morning noise from too much alcohol and too many teenagers. The location is I'm sure fantastic outside of the summer season.
the area, location and scenery were lovely for a great relaxing holiday
would have liked to have had tea and coffee facilities in the room
View from the balcony on the sea (big parking is right under the windows and is not good for viewing but your car has a guaranteed place- and that's great). Friendly staff. Positive impression in total.
Bad chemical smell from the carpets (?) and sometimes from canalisation. Very noisy in the nights on the street- on weekends especially.
Good location, secure parking, quiet location but only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Argeles.
Over priced breakfast 15 Euros per person.
The hotel was in a good location being close enough to the busy town but far enough away not to be disturbed by the noise and busy activities of the town centre. Pool was excelent if a little cold and breakfast each morning was good with lots of choice. Room we had was large with a sea view and a balcony that we could sit on and watch the world pass by. Hotel parking was alo very useful and alos very close to the beach.Would stay here again
Shame the hotel had no bar and lunch snakes a little limited. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room and a space for a fridge but none fitted. Also Wifi only available in lounge area and not in room. Town was a little to busy and bit like Southend or Blackpool with fun fairs and large crowds around bars and clubs
location was great. Staff were super friendlly.
wi-fi was poor
We loved the location and free parking option, offered by the hotel. Room was clean, reasonably spacious and lovely sea view, which we could enjoy sitting on a large balcony in the evening. We would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to our friends.
2 AC outlets, which I could find in the room, were not enough to have our extensive stock of gadgets charged simultaneously during the night.
Hotel was in a perfect location; Less than a 100 feet from the beach, away from all the busy night time entertainment, also next door to a relaxing Pine tree forest, and there's also the convenient use of the local fun transport that stop directly outside the hotel and travels as far as the village centre.
Excellent position. Nice pool area. Friendly staff.
No sports channels on TV. We stayed during Wimbledon final.
swimming pool, location
