Good location near train stations and shopping. Great value, simple rooms but correct. Staff was very helpful responding to all requests.
Awful bathroom, too small, furniture is too old. The carpets on the floors are ugly and so dirty. Please keep away.
Location Building Isolation
- close walking proximity to railway station (10-15 min) - close to city center
- shower cabin was not complete - water dropping from the ceiling - night staff did not speak English (I cannot imagine how I would resolve serious issues) - they charge 1 EUR after booking to check the card and never return it nor include into the final amount
It is near from the central station and cheaper than other properties. The check-in desk is 24/7.
Hard to find the parking place near the Hotel, however the same situation is in the different places located in the city center, too. To add, both days finaly we have found the parking and it cost less then 10 EUR per night (1.30 EUR per hour during the working hours only). It is seen that the hotel rooms are made long time, however they are still acceptable.
close to everything
Worst Wifi ever.
Rooms were very clean, wi fi was good. Bed was very comfortable. Location was close enough to the train to walk easily and still close enough to either walk or get on a tram to the beach area. Once this would have been a quite grand hotel but with age it is worn a bit but it still has a nice enough ambience. I did book in after a night in Harold's hostel which was the worst place I have EVER stayed in so Plaisance was a very nice and relaxing contrast. Staying in Plaisance is a good option and not too expensive compared to other places.
The one thing I would suggest is getting a room on the 2nd level or above, just because the road that the windows open onto is busy, and higher up would be quieter and the air fresher.
The gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful, anxious to overcome my lack of French and his spotty command of English. The hotel's very best features: its price and proximity to the train station.
The rooms are very basic, well worn, desperately in need of renovation and updating. I pulled back the sheets to look for bed bugs (thankfully there were none), but I kind of expected them. My bathroom was so small, I was required to sit sideways on the commode, with my knees in the bedroom.
This hotel is great if you are on a very tight budget.
This hotel is great if you are on a very tight budget. Carpet up the stairs was black with dirt. The room was ok if you only wanted a shower and sleep. The wardrobe was broken with a broken mirror. Just about managed it's 2 stars
Good location, good price, friendly staff.
Facilities are quite old.
elevator too small and no parking nearby.
l'emplace tres commode
chambre pour 1 personne ridiculement petite...
The consierge that we checked in with was very polite, helpful and spoke good English. The hotel itself is close to the train station and in walking distance to the center.
One of the night guardians was a nightmare. He insisted that we pack our bikes for the flight in the cellar where there was no light. He also came to check every five minutes to see what we are doing. There was a space we could have done it without disturbing anyone or destroying anything. He didn't speak any English but made fun of my fluent French.
Everything with a plus for the staff, all of them were just great!
24 hours reception with polite people .good wi fi in the rooms
Very small room and no parking even for a motorbike.
Good location. 15 minutes to walk to beach. near is market.
Internet connection is only for 1 device.
At arrival there was water leaking from the entrance ceiling, the receptionist didn't even apologise and did nothing to stop it or clean the slippery stairs. When asking why wifi didn't work, he said it was normal and we should try again in an hour. In the bathroom the water was standing in the washing bin and half of the broken lightbulb that was replaced was still on the floor. At night it is a very noisy place and you can witness breaking in to cars from your hotel window, just hope it's not your car... oh and fold the mirrors of your car, after one hour of parking my mirror was broken, smashed to pieces. It's not expensive but all in all it became expensive...
Windows were dirty with spider webs, carpet on the floor was also dirty, did not dare remove my shoes to walk in the room. We asked the front desk clerk to indicate us were to go for a meal... he started with an attitude and finally indicated which way to go. We also wanted to get rid of a bag of food that had stayed in the car under the sun all day. Since it was smelly we asked him if he could perhaps get rid of it for us, again, he started with an attitude telling us he had no place to trough it, and told us to get rid of it someplace else indicating the door. I can not believe that in an hotel that size, they do not have a place with where they put their garbages in.
Location, helpful staff, good wifi and ac in room.
Small rooms, which were not the cleanest, but manageable.
close to centre and train station
small room, old facilities, tiny bathroom,
Because room was not completely cleaned one day, they gave me all my breakfasts for free. Was appreciated. Small but there was a balcony. Some of the staff very helpful and friendly.
Location was great, close to one of the main arteries with lots of ethnic food shops around. The "double" bed was two twins put together and it seems I often ended up in the crack ... bothersome.
Excellent location near train station and right in town. Easy walk to all main attractions including beach
Not far from the sea and bus station; very close to the railway station. A room is small and simple, but rather comfortable and even has a balcony. Reception staff is very nice people, except one man.
There is no shampoo. One man from reception is absolutely not helpful and even rude. Wi-fi works only for port:80.
I did ask for a quite room, and in fact I did get a room on the back
Near to the station, easy to travel to Cannes, Antibes etc. Staff were friendly.
Room was facing the street, bit noisy. Wi-fi was not working well.
