Very near to Metro and Marais
Small. Steep staircase - no lift.
Walking out of Saint Paul Metro and in to the front door of the hotel is a dream. Rue Rivoli is ideally located to see all the main sites
The bedrooms are small, some smaller than others as well so you have to be careful which one you get! Some of the décor is also questionable- very garish in some rooms. However, its cleanliness is good, and all rooms have a hairdryer and wifi :)
Viskas puikiai .
Nice beds. Located close to centre with metro station just in front
Only 3 power sockets in room a bit small bathroom and stairs
Employee is helpful, location is perfect for us as trourist
For Paris the hotel was an ok price. The wifi was free and very good
No lift and very narrow and hard to climb stairs with a suit case. would be a real problem to any who was not physically fit. Quite run down but clean. The bath was small and basic and had no products.
I like everything. Location is great in Paris just next to the subway. Stairs is dangerous but it was ok for me, no problem even though I was at the 6th floor. Room was great so everything was fine
I had to turn around to find the entry. Because it's a small door.
Nice location in the heart of Marais, just a few steps from St Paul metro station. Friendly personnel.
The pictures in the hotel presentation gives a wrong impression at least of the 5th&6th floor rooms. Horrifying stairs, no lift.
Located in front of the subway, into the "Marais" district that is one of the most charming places in Paris
The stairway to the upper rooms must be seen and tried to be understood..... The rooms on the main street are noisy...the subway escalator is very noisy.....
Excellent location, clean rooms and helpful staff
we had a front room and it was a bit noisy at nightfrom street cafe's below.
The hotel is really well located for visiting the sights of Paris.
The stairs to the bedrooms are VERY tight, and narrow. The escalator outside St Pauls station is noisy and runs 6am-1:30am you can hear it clearly. The quality of the room finish is poor, and unclean. It was also a really small room with just enough space for two people. It was fine for one night, but nothing more.
proximity to centre of Paris Helpful reception clean room thoughtful provision of air conditioning unit although it was noisy
Staircase very steep no lift room cramped Awkward access to room with heavy bag. Feeling that the building was constructed in an alleyway between two existing buildings
good location for tourist and food places (although there are lost of others just as well placed and most likely much quieter/nicer)
I didn't mind the stairs (if you are not that fit, you sure will), and I would probably put up with the overall 'tired', shabby look at less than half the price I had to pay (certainly not at the price I ended up paying), but the absolutely deafening and annoying noise of the Metro escalator until 2am (particularly when I asked for a quiet room as I had to work) really made my stay unpleasant. Paid lots for a privilege of not being able to sleep and not really having much comfort at all. I stayed in other hotels in Paris, paying about this amount of money, but the experience could not be compared to those. Normally I don't believe the negative reviews much (hence I booked this place), but I will start believing them from now on. The photos convinced me to try this hotel - they are certainly nothing like the reality so do not believe what you see on the website.
- neatness/cleaness - geographical situation - presence of all necessary utilities in the room - comfortable bed and shower
- 5th floor - no elevator
Great Location. Located outside metro Saint Paul.
The stairs are quite steep and dangerous. No elevator
Stairs a nightmare with luggage....ac non functional....geysar conked off......bad experience
The awkward stair case The cleanliness The location
The cigarettes butts collection on my window (a detail) The corridor light entering in my room (but I used a towel)
Location, location, location. Nice, clean and surprisingly quiet. Also, good value for money, if you have in mind the usual standard of Paris hotels :).
The staircase is rather narrow, so can be difficult if one has lots of luggage.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull
The stairs was for rock climbers.
Stairs was very very dangerous with no fire escape
Oposite Metro station St.Paul
Incredible small staircase without any elevator! Nothing for large suitcases and elderly people.
The metro is located right in front of the hotel and there are plenty of places to eat on the street. The staff were nice, helpful and polite.
Very old building and although they tried to update there are things that need to be torn down and redone. The stairs were a horror as they turned and due to age were indented making it very risky to bring up and down the stairs luggage as they have no lift.
The location and the staffs were very friendly and helpfull
No sign of Hotel in front. The stair was very stiff. The room was very small and especially the bathroom. No air conditioning in the summer
The location and the behavior of the staff was good.
narrow stairs, not having elevator, no slippers, the door of the toilet was standing on the back (not open completely), not having refrigerator
Location, friendly staff
Cramped rooms, sink drain stuck shut, very dusty common areas (but room was clean).
