I payed more money in order not to stay at the "5th floor without an elevator" room" and I end up getting a 4th floor without an elevator room…

The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was excellent.

We were on a cruise prior to our stay and had a great deal of luggage. I would have liked to know ahead of time that the facility did not have an elevator/lift so I might have requested a room on a lower floor. Getting our bags up and down the tiny spiral staircase was, interesting!

Extremely noisy, very small rooms located on a street with a lot of traffic and people passing by whole night long (windows have simple glass and even ear plugs don't help -->couldn't sleep at all!), very small rooms, no safe in rooms. Very bad value for money... this hotel was a one time experience...

in centre of Paris, fair price, 24/7 presence of staff. possibility of checking out and storing your luggage for the day

obviously the five stairs we had to climb, but that was a conscious choice. no problem

we liked location, close to city center and metro station, free stable wifi access, possible check-in before official check-in time and late check out, 24 hours reception, baggage storage room, long breakfast time

very small room (app. 6sq. meters for 2 people), noise from corridor through the door, when somebody was passing our door, very steep uneven stairs, no lift, but no problem for young people, limited choice of breakfast offer, in case of open window there was big noise from busy street

It is extremely well located, at the end of the Rue de Rivoli and next to the Metro Saint Paul. It is in the heart of the Marais, which is a very lively area. We were able to return to the hotel 24 hours a day.

The communal areas are fairly dirty, and the rooms are very small.

Very noisy. Air conditioning did not work. No elevator. Very narrow winding staircase--fortunately I just had a carry-on bag, have no idea how a large suitcase would get upstairs.

A clean room at a convenient location for my purposes

No elevator and extremely uncomfortable stairs to get to the 5th floor. Broken airco and therefore had to leave the window open to a very noisy busy street.

Location excellent, the room was beautiful, bathroom clean and functional and no residual bathroom smell. The room looked over the main street, but even though you thought it would be loud, it was quiet with the windows closed. Why there was ai-rconditioning, a major plus in a small hotel in Paris and it was first class a/c

The stairs are too steep for older clients with knee/joint problems and unfortunately the previous person in the room must have smoked so it permeated the room
