Pol Hotel  

Compact hotel with a clean modern interior design. Surprisingly very quiet rooms given the location. No piped music. Very comfortable beds. Helpful reception staff.

There is no dedicated car park. Parking is on the main street and or in the square opposite and pot luck with spaces. Pay 7 euros at the hotel for a 24 hr vignette, much cheaper than the 2euro per hour on meter, effective after 14.30. Avoid a saturday lunchtime arrival as a market takes place in the square opposite. Access by car to the front of the hotel is barred until after 14.30 when the market finishes.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were able to park free directly outside the hotel. We stayed in the loft room at a heavily discounted rate- it was a winter weekend. There was lots of space with a very comfortable bed and lovely bath. The room was warm and the hot water plentiful. Very good continental breakfast in the morning.

It was surprising that there was no full length mirror.

The position of the hotel was excellent for restaurants and beach

Continental breakfast at 13 euros each was not value for money when most cafes /restaurants were charging 8 euros. The decor is now looking a little tired in the room we stayed in and very dark.Everything in the room was dark brown apart from a little relief on one wall of a striped brown and red Our prestige room had only hand held shower and no shaver point in bathroom. At current prices I would not recommend the hotel.

The friendlyness and helpfulness of the Hotel staff wasexcellent. Location was a real bonus being in the middle of the town and was reasonably quiet.

Chambre mal entretenue, poil ou chaveux au sol sur le tapis. Entretien général de la chambre pas bien du tout. Poussière abondante un peu partout. Lit pas correctement fait à notre arrivée. Une taie d oreiller traînait sur le lit. Le bricolage de la connectique tv laisse vraiment a désirer. Prises pendantes, cables non fixés aux murs, bref du bricolage. Cet établissement ne mérite pas 3 étoiles. De la poudre aux yeux vu le prix de la chambre. Les arérations sont très sales. Il fait sombre dans la chambre. Impossible de se connecter au wifi malgré les codes...bref un hôtel où je ne retournerai pas et que je ne recommanderai pas..Personnel juste sympatique. Explication robotisée, accueil sympa mais pas de chaleur humaine. Le coffre fort pas prêt, pas moyen de faire un reset... Pas même une petite bouteille d'eau pour accueillir les clients. Bref, juste un de ces hôtels qui n a toujours pas compris qu'avec un peu de chaleur humaine, un entretien de la chambre dans les détails et pas seulement en surface pour faire joli, une petite attention envers les clients, les clients veulent revenir...Le personnel était sympa mais on sent très bien que tout y est formaté,sans âme bref une machine a faire de l'argent sans rendre de réels services et sans être à la hauteur du prix. Dommage on serait revenu mais dans dans de telles conditions.
