Le personnel sympa

Nous sommes déçus par votre site qui indiquait un 5 étoiles et quand nous sommes arrivés c'était un 4 étoiles. De plus, il était en travaux, la salle de bain était très petite et sans baignoire, nous avons demandés à changer de chambre car en plus odeur désagréable et nous avons eu une baignoire mais la sdb tjrs aussi petite, le bruit des travaux dans l'hotel nous a bcp dérangés.

Il faut payer le reseau WIFI, (en plus que le prix de la chambre, qui est déjà assez cher). Le petit déjeuner, est sur évalué, avec un prix à 25 euro., c'est trop.

Une situation assez centrale Saint-Germain/Rive Gauche. Il s'agit d'un bel hôtel avec un bar "à l'anglaise" cossu et "cozy". Jolie salle de bains et un petit centre de fitness convenable. Personnel efficace et très aimable.

Les chambres sont plutôt petites - avec des petits lits pour 2 personnes - et toutes avec moquette. Les prix très élevés sont absolument injustifiés.

Impossible de laisser la voiture même une minute devant la porte, pour décharger, heureusement qu'il y a un voiturier

The location is perfect and the hotel is very romantic. We came to Paris from Turkey for our wedding. Concierge (especially Christophe) helped a lot to us. Everything was perfect. Thanks to Pont Royal for this wonderful experience. We will come there again.

On the 2nd day of staying they blocked a certain amount on my credit card and did not warned about it. On the day of leave they could not take payment from my card because there was strictly an amount of payment for three nights. They could not deny their block, and this was a huge problem for me. They do not understand now why their transaction is denied. The certain amount is still blocked.

Terrible value for price: the classic room is extremely small. In addition, our reservation said there was a bath but instead we had a shower with no water pressure ! When I notified the concierge, he told me first I could get an "upgrade" for 140 and then for 80 euros: expensive for a proper bathroom. Also, only one bathrobe, not enough towels, a/c not working properly... For a 5* hotel at 300 a night, very poor value. Could have found much better, would not definitely not go again and not recommend to anybody.

A small, elegant hotel, beautifully appointed. The front desk staff and bar attendants got to know us by name and were extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delightful, and a good value, although we did not use it every day.

Very well located if you want to walk to main tourisctic places - Louvre, Notre Dame, Concord, Elysees, Invalides, Eiffel, Quartier latin, etc.

Free wi-fi is very low-speed. I met the problem even with displaying maps from google.com. Staff if unfrendly and arrogant. I ask them to print out e-ticket from my internet mailbox (one sheet of paper) and they charged me 5 euros for the internet access and spent half an our of my time to handle with my request. I had to remind them about me several times. Special "thanks" to guy who was at reception on September 30, between 6 and 7 PM.

When booking the hotel, we said we were coming to paris to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were treated royally!... They put us on the top floor w/a balcony over looking the city. Bathroom so close to Bed

Clean, great location.

I was very unhappy with the lack of politeness and customer-friendliness of the hotel staff. I also thought it was overpriced considering the average- looking interior of the rooms and the far-from-fantastic and completely overpriced breakfast - a far cry from the very enticing video made by the hotel, and which had decided me to try it. After having checked in, later in the day, I was told by the staff that my credit card had been found to be "untrustworthy" and that I had to settle the account right away. When I came down to the lobby, the staff treated me as if I was trying to cheat the hotel. It turned out that the lobby staff had not copied down the credit card numbers correctly during the check-in procedure and, after correcting this mistake, the payment did go through without any problems. The staff barely apologised - the scene took place right in front of my mother, whom I had invited for a weekend in Paris for her birthday. As a result of the staff's treatment, we both felt the evening had not been the success I had hoped it would be. The day of my departure, I requested the hotel staff to book a taxi for us and did so five hours in advance - mentioning specifically and emphatically that we needed our taxi to be on time as we had a train to catch. When we arrived in the lobby 10 minutes in advance, we asked whether the taxi was on its way. One of the two lobby staff told me "yes" and swiftly went on to other things. 10 minutes later there was no taxi - I was made to wait a further 5-7 minutes while both members of staff were busy with other clients. Finally the other one realised that he had forgotten to book a taxi and suddenly ran out in the street to try to catch one. This was not so easy - several taxis refused to turn towards the hotel. All of this took 25 minutes before we were finally on our way - narrowly missing our (non-refundable) train.

A beautiful hotel, ideally located. Our room was on the 1st floor at the front - and probably one of the most quietest hotels I have ever stayed in! Even with the air conditioning on at high, we slept very well. Extremely comfortable room, great bed and furnishings. The staff were polite and very helpful. I understand the hotel has retained this standard for a long time, and long may that continue

Dining at Joel Robuchon

We booked a junior suite with separate living room with sleep bed for our granddaughter for 600 euros . 1st room did not have separate living room and we had to wait 1 1/2 hours for new room, in lobby after a long flight ! Also requested from US two dining reservations and requested confirmation by email and never received despite 3 requests for emails. Going to Eiffel Tower luncheon to day so will see if done by hotel, or not .

Extremely over priced for the accommodations.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting and our group loved your bar. Jonathan was accommodating and genuinely friendly. We so appreciated the personable atmosphere that was pervasive each time that we gathered there after a long rainy day seeing the sights. Le Rose' de Provence etait formidable!

Unfortunately, it was very difficult to sleep well with the construction trucks dumping materials to prepare for their day's work. If the windows were closed, the room was too hot. If the windows were open, the room was too loud. I would not choose to stay in a street-front room again.....too many black circles under my eyes.

They spoke English and accomodated my requests for maps, hair salon, and a smoking room. Will book there again when I travel to Paris.

Food was average.

Perfecte uitvalsbasis om het centrum van Parijs te voet te verkennen. Straalt luxe en klasse uit. Ontspannend.

Die Lage ist excellent. Sehr gute Restaurants nebenan, Quartier Latin, Ile de France, Champs Elysee, alles zu Fuss in Reichweite. Gediegene Ausstattung von Hotel und Bar. Sehr gute Schalldämpfung der Zimmer
