some staffs are very good.
I asked to put a phone in my room many times.
I liked a lot the friendly staff (speaking English very well, although I eventually preferred to practice my French), they were efficient and very accommodating. We stayed in a double room of the 5th floor, a room that was small but with a large and very comfortable bed. The room was clean and well maintained throughout the 5 nights we stayed. There's a metro station for subway 12 a couple of minutes away and if you're willing to walk a few minutes there's another for subway 8. It is an *excellent* place to get to Versailles from (tram 2 takes you to a train station for line RER C which drops you at Versailles a couple of minutes from the palace, overall 35 minutes of a trip). Just note that tram 2 station is just beyond the tram 3a station which is basically in front of the hotel, you need to cross and walk beyond that one. If you don't plan to stay too much in the room, it is extremely good value for money.
Incredibly poor wifi, although the signal was ok on the 5th floor, nothing would load. For a trip in February, the weather was fairly cold and room was very poorly heated. There's no thermal insulation on the building and there were 2 very small heaters that took a while to do their job. The room was *very* small with no place for two people to walk one by the other. So small in fact that the bathroom door couldn't open well due to the bed. The elevator could barely fit two people with one checkin case, no idea why it says it can hold 4 (it was also very very slow, so try to ask for a room on a lower floor).
Good position for exhibition centre, quiet inside room
tiny room, very dark, one light not working, lampshade torn, heating in bathroom didn't work- reported all defects and noting done; no eggs at breakfast on one morning, staff fairly indifferent and not very efficient.
warm in room nice staffs
Far from tourist area, weak wifi, dark in room (the light was weaker than my bedroom light at home), room very small
the staff was friendly
we arrived and were given the key to our room, and instructed to let the 'concierge know if the room hadn't been cleaned yet'. we took the lift to the room and it was completely filthy from the last customers. normally professional protocol would have been to check the room themselves and not allow the next customer to see it in an unmade state. the hotel is old, and dingy. everything is worn and tacky. the bed linens are old with holes. the wardrobe was missing all of the hangers for clothing. the toilet was rusty and didnt flush quite properly. we were afraid to touch anything and always walked the floor with our shoes on. i might need a tetanus booster after that stay. the only available wifi was sitting in the lobby, or the 'basement' where breakfast was to be served. this is rated as a 3 star hotel, but i do think there was a mistake and those stars were not suppose to be in a row. this hotel is HIGHLY overpriced, and is not worth anything above a one star rating.
After discount, it is a very worthy hotel. Very quite, clean, nice staffs, complete furniture.
Nothing, the only negative may be the small size of room, but for us it‘s enough.
Taking a copy of my bank card, No car park...!!!! I paid 20 Eorou per day for sharing car park recommended by them!!! Big disaster for me when I arrived !!!
The staff was not that nice. There was only one person who was nice. The first night we did not have aa blanket but it was -5 outside. Reception told me there was no blanket because they were fully booked. So as result we were frozen in the morning. That morning we told the other guy at reception and he gave us a blanket straight away.
2 mins walk to metro station. very convenient. staff was very helpful and polite
booked a double bed room and we ended up on two single beds.
Staff, clean, close to metro
Perfect location for Porte de Versailles - 2 mins walk to the conference centre and exhibition halls.
The location of the hotel is perfect for Metro, Tram and very close to a group of Restaurants and Cafes. Behind its Block there are a lot of Supermarkates and subway for fast food. All receptionists at the time of my stay (one week), were very friendly, helpful and gentile.
The elevator is a little narrow but it works in good way. The room is a little small but as other hotles in Paris. The room will need some renovation in the near future.
The hotel is on the outskirts of Paris, but it's right next to the metro, so it's not too big of a deal. What I liked most about the hotel is that it was right next to the grocery store which is nice when to eat out cost so much. The hotel did have a fridge which after traveling Europe I found wasn't to common among cheap hotels. The staff at the front desk was very friendly.
The maid kept entering our room without knocking. I didn't feel safe to leave my valuables in the room at all. It's very far from the airport. It's a little challenging to find. It could use a visably lit sign. Coming from the US I'm used to having continental breakfast but I guess if it makes the stay cheaper...
Breakfast and very polite and kindly staff with value information. Good position.
No air condition, small room, no base metal hat-racks, hat-pegs, brackets and similar fixtures for cloths.
The staff was kind and helpful and they all spoke good English!
The room was pretty basic and small but on the bright side it was maintained daily to a good standard.
good position to reach touristic attractions, good breakfast, close connection to down town, friendly staff
I really loved the staff there, they were very helpful and also just a few meters from restaurants or the subway system
Not that much of a space, but I wasn't looking for space, just a place to sleep so I like everything.
Very helpful staff, good price, convenient and easy to find location.
Internet mainly works in the lobby, a window was hard to close.
Not so far from the subway station. The staff were so kind!
The receptions- great, friendly and helpful.
Where do I start from: - Small suffocating and abit noisy room- very poor value for money. - Elevator often does not work and then meets dark unlit corridors - No WIFI in the rooms - Incredibly poor breakfast- never quite seen anything like it. - This is the only hotel I've ever been to where the TV does not have a single channel in English- ALL ARE IN FRENCH. We get the national pride and refusal to speak another language, but this is a hotel!!
- parking reserved, but hotel said parking is full. - dirty carpets on the floors - tiny room - tiny bathroom
too small room
I was in a business trip with tight schedule. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. It is very close to metro station and nearby two delicious restaurants which are delicious. Receptionists (Yuri and Mehdi) were very kind and gentle.
T.V has only french channels. It would be nice to watch some English ones too.
Conveniently located close to Metro, trams and busues with good links to popular attractions. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms were clean and well furnished. A good continental breakfast was available at a reasonable price.
Just over the road from the Porte de Versailles exhibition halls, so really handy as an exhibitor. If visiting a show I would not choose to stay so close, and use the Metro. Polite and helpful staff in reception, compensating for the otherwise below-par experience.
The room (403) was past its best, in need of new soft furnishings. The bathroom was long overdue refurbishment with cracked and loose tiles on the floor and around the shower, an overflowing shower tray (part-blocked drain) and the sink plug knob was missing, so had to be prised out by hand. It wasn't dirty, but having loose and cracked tiles doesn't create a sense of good hygiene. The fitted hair-dryer in the bathroom was held together with sticky tape, with no possibility of plugging a travel dryer in anywhere close to the one mirror over the sink. Wifi on all floors rather than just reception would have been useful in what is clearly a business hotel close to the exhibition centre, however I was aware of this when I made my reservation.
