Helpful & friendly staff

Rooms quite small, but was OK for the little amount of time we spent there - it was literally a B&B facility

Ideal location for exhibition centre which was the purpose of our visit but easy access across the city via Metro.

Ideal location for the Paris Boat show and also close to all the famous landmarks.

This is a well run friendly hotel which I have stated at 4 times now. I would not hesitate to recommend it if its location is suitable.

The room was good, with a nice comfortable and a different shower to what I am use to, but still good.

I did not like the fact that I could not pay with my AMEX.

The staff were excellent relative to Parisian "norms". Rooms & public areas smartly decorated. Hotel seemed more upmarket than images suggested on website.

Corridors & stair wells in need of redecoration

We had some trouble with the wifi, didn't work very well and since we had to pay for it, it was disturbing.

I had the "do not disturb" sign on my door, still staff would knock on the door AND call on the land line asking if I needed room-service. They kept waking me up.

Nice and clean room, perfect maid service every day, next to 2 different metro lines and a tram that can take you everywhere, nice neighborhood with universities all around, good price.

Didn't have an elevator in our compartment, the stuff doesn't speak/understand english very well. Last but not least, a problem in payment, they refused to accept the booking.com payment method and as an excuse they said to me that it's illegal despite the fact that i've followed all the room's payment requirements. In addition to that, they did not at all check my identification papers to be sure that i've booked the room. So, anyone else with cash could stay at the room instead of me.

The staff were very friendly!! Loved the whole experience. Want to be back there!! Definitely staying again.

The hotel location is very good near the metro and Eifel tower.Rooms are small but clean.Everything you need in trip.Staff is very friendly and helpful. The price is very good.

Excelent locatization, near subway station (Balard), with a lot of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The room, although very small, is quite comfortable and very clear. It didn't have free wifi, but they charged a fair price (5 euros for 2 licences during 3 days).

Breakfast wasn't included and it was kind of expensive (13 euros). The PC at the costumer's disposal kept shutting down in an unexpected frequency. Some guys at the reception helped letting use other PC's, but I felt uncomfortable because I felt like I was bothering.

The Porte de Versailles hotel is excellently located for exhibiting/visiting the Expo. The staff are extremely helpful and do their utmost to make your stay an enjoyable experience. The room size is adequate for a single occupant which I've been on both visits. Probably too far out for touring Paris.

room is hardly bigger than the bed, cushions in the bed were dirty, tv even for the room-size too small, bad lights at the stairs, just not worth the money.

since i've read the review before, so everything is quite fine. small room doesn't bother me too much as a solo traveler. location is ok breakfast cost 13euro , room rate cost average 120upro per night...quite expenseive..however everything in paris is expensive too, so it's acceptable for short stay will be good.

extra charge for wifi the room is not quiet, you can hear ppl go up & down stairs & slam their doors clearly. the funny thing is, one of the morning when i hanged the "do not disturb" outside my room to let myself sleep a bit late due to the jet lag.. the staff called in & ask do i need the room cleaning & when they can do the cleaning. it's not the meaning of "do not disturb" at all. does every hotel do the same thing in France?

Don't stay here. It's terribly small and far from everything and they really don't care whether you like it or not--for one example, the air conditioner is marked with a note that says don't change it for your health and comfort (like they know what makes me comfortable).

We have stayed here before in previous years as it is just a short walk to the exhibition halls. The hotel itself is a reasonable price, the breakfast is fair,but a little high in price at €13. Bathroom is to a good standard,and a good size by the standard of many other budget Paris hotels. The reception is very polite and helpful.

Hotel location is just close to Tour Eiffel @ 3 Km and also at reasonable rate. Offcourse, breakfast is not included in Hotel Tarrif but if you wana stay close to city area and just next to Metro station (Ballard - m8) for affordable tarrif, pvh is the best hotel to choose. My experience was not so good about the staff @ providing the informaiton/support on city tour or areas to visit for a Visitor but a special thanks to pvh or pvh staff, for allowing me to do early check in at 8.30 am.

Staff did not provide enough information on City Tour or famous places to visit or mounoments to visit.. This is the only complaint other than that, pvh, I would rate high on scale.

Quiet rooms at the rear facing trees, nice design, good position for tram station. Reception staff efficient. Low cost for Wi-Fi, €5 for 2 days (but should still be free in al hotels).

Shower and bathroom very small. TV channes didnt have international news (BBC, CNN etc)

La gentillesse et l'aide du personnel. La cheminée qui marche lors du petit déjeuner. Une chambre donnant sur l'arriere de l'hotel (pas de bruit)

Pas d'ascenseur pour accéder au 1er étage (pas trés grave pour mon cas mais pas évident pour d'autres personnes)

La salle de bains ! Belle, Spacieuse et bien équipée

Zimmer und Bad sehr verwohnt! Straßenbahn sehr laut, Baustelle auf der anderen Straßenseite. Abends erst nach Mitternacht Schlaf möglich. Rauchmelder noch im Bau! Safe war zu, konnte nicht benutzt werden. Aufzug eng! Autos vor dem Hotel (Feuerwehrzufahrt) werden gnadenlos abgeschleppt!!!
