Port Marine  

I liked the staff and service. On the top there was a swimming pool, but it was 6m x 4m x 1.2 m, so kinda small. It was really close to all the main restaurants of the city. Room was ok, we had one with a non-sea view, so nothing special. More or less close to the railway station - approx. 30 minutes walk, or 7 minutes by bus.

Tooooo expensive - 90 euro für 1 night without a breakfast. It was more or less just sleeping in there. Tooooo far from the beaches - if you don't travel by car, you should keep in mind that the beaches are approx 2-3 km away from the hotel. Pool was small, no other activities like sauna or gym. ---> if you're a young couple - try something else, something cheaper and more comfortable.

We liked its modern aspect. It was quiet and efficient at that time of year. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

As elderly clients, more comfortable chairs in the bedroom would have been appreciated.

We had a lovely holiday at the Port Marine Hotel. Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good resturants nearby. Tourist information Centre close by.

Excellent location. Short walk to bars/restaurant and the town centre. Great view of the port and sea.

Would have preferred a sea view from our room...that would have made it perfect.

The room,211, had a fantastic view of the harbour and the sea where you can watch the fishing boats leaving and returning, Near to all the seafood restaurants on the canal.

We liked the situation of the hotel and being able to walk into Sete and enjoy the facilities of the town, especially the restaurants.

The first room we were given smelt badly of stale tobacco smoke and although we were given a different room it was not with good grace. The atmosphere could be much friendlier. The hotel seemed tired and could do with a good makeover, i.e. swimming pool was out of use.

The place

The location of the hotel is fab. The med sea is just outside your window. Its close to the town centre 4 minutes walk and its a lovely walk along the pier.the swimming pool was on the roof which is a realy nice advantage for the nice sea breeze. Lots of bars and resturants near by for dinner and drinks. Le Clair is a realy good bar. Lively and realy good food.

The pool was small but still very nice. The room are small and dated but they were perfect for what we wanted them for- sleeping. We stayed for a week.

Excellent location near the fishing port and yacht harbour. Good views from the rooftop terrace. Room was fine with plenty of space. I would stay there again but probably would upgrade to a sea view. Good restaurants nearby.

Friendly staff, good restaurant and garage parking. Nice location, suitable for taking strolls.

Room whilst comfortable was dated and ablution facilities need to be refurbished.
