Cosy nice sleep, value for money
Upper sleeper berths dangerously mounted , had head hit to the berths twice. The area around the hotel looks to be inhabited by criminals. Specially in the parking area behind. I Insist please install the CCTV camera.
The Area and the Price
The People working there exept a man who worked there. The women were very rude and extremly unproffessional they dont like working and they dont like helping they always seemed annoyed when you ask them something. It went so far that she yelled at me, because i´ve asked her for a taxi number and for an adress:-( the recepetion is closed most of the time of the day, so dont expect help please! I really didnt expect alot because it is so cheap but i thougt i could ask for a taxi number or an adress bevore i get yelled on. So at the End she didnt even help me she really SCREAMED AT ME she said the reception is closed now and i should read the signs( by the way everything is written in French:-( my French is not so good, so she tells me MADAME THE SIGNS SAY EVERYTHING; THEY SAY WHEN THE RECEPTION IS OPEN AND STUFF. So everybody if you dont speak or read French dont ever go to this Hotel because if you ask for help they will go crazy on you. I would love to be able to make the decition again because i would NEVER EVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN. i am really not a Person that exprected too much for such a cheap Price but excuse me Taxi number and adress of a Place hahaha this is definetly not too much. She was a extremly unfriendly and any Manager that lets People like her work there doesnt want his guessts to feel comfortable. There even was an other Person that saw a Little bit of the Situation too and was really shocked!!!
a standard budget chain hotel with all you have expected
unfortunately, during our late arrival, we have to check in using the machine. and one of our room is not cleaned. whether the housekeeping missed it or else, not sure.
Pretty cheap, cheap breakfast (optional but worth it), staff are really friendly
Location is bad if you are relying on Transit and planning to venture to Geneva; because the hotel is outside of the fit limits you won't get a free transit card (and it will actually cost you more because you are technically in France which is a different transit zone), the rooms smelled really smokey and musty and so when we reached our next destination I had to take time to wash that smell out of my clothes; the hallways are always filled with linens lying on the floor- not a big deal but it's kind of odd.
Location and excellent breakfast
Noise from adjoining rooms
The hotel location near by Geneva
Nothing should be mentioned
Very helpful and friendly staff, convenient location for Geneva, great value. Good pizza stand just across from the hotel for a quick dinner.
Rooms have very little noise insulation, you can hear neighbors on both sides of the rooms.
I like them to stop smoking in side the hotel facilities.
Smoking in the hotel facilities It is against safety rul.
The bed was big and comfortable and the room was clean.
The hotel is pretty far from Geneva. If you have a car, it's probably fine, but we had to take the bus back and forth, and it was a 10 minute walk to the bus, then we had to wait up to half an hour for the bus, and then it was another half an hour bus ride. Not very convenient. Also, the reception is only at the desk very limited hours, and on the first night we had trouble getting in because the gate was locked. We also had to check-in and pay at a machine which we had a lot of trouble with.
As budget accommodation this is a very good choice. It is clean and efficient and I got a good nights sleep. It is very basic but the en-suite had a good powerful shower, not the trickle you sometimes get. There is self-check in after 9pm which is pretty easy to work out. I has a triple room for Eur 59.00 so if you were a couple with a child, this is very cheap for the area, however the room is small and compact so don't invite any guests.
It is about Eur 60.00 for a taxi to Geneva airport from the hotel and vice versa. If you add this to the cost, then it is not such good value as there are hotels in Geneva for this price. However if you have a car and need somewhere cheap and cheerful to put your head down, then this is not a bad option.
The hotel has good localization near highway. the price is rather cheap. The room was very small and not very equipped but we do not expect for this price.
Unfortunately We got room which has stinky (smell of cigarettes mixed with smell of toilet chemicals)
pros: good location if you want something near Geneve, near the motorwayt and near the supermarket (5 min. by car). Good tv with most of the channels in frech and few channels that can be change the language to English. The staff is very friendly. I asked to change the room as the one they gave me was facing the motorway (half of the hotel is facing the motorway). The bed is big for two persons. If you want to sleep just one night, it is ok.
Cons: the hotel is just beside the motorway, so if your window is facing it, there is a lot of noise and pollutet air. Ask for your room facing the other side. It is quieter. The bathroom is like a the one in a plane, very small and made of plastic. If you are a big person, you won't go into the shower. There is no elevator/lift, so if your knees are not in good condition, ask for the first floor. During the night there is no bell to ring to get into the hotel either from the parking gate nor from the hotel door. Both of them are closed from 21:00 pm. So, two nights in a row, my hotel room card didn't work and I had to leave the car outside and get through the pedestrian door in a freezing dark cold night and on top of that, raining, and figuring out how to enter into the hotel. I found a sign with a phone number and rang the hotel (lucky I had activated my roaming from my movile phone), and somebody came to open the door and reactivate the room card. I was freezing!! I cannot imagine what would have happened if I didn't activated my cell phone roaming and had no phone to call with. Too bad to leave your customer outside with no help with this freezing weather. They can have a bell or an intercom to call the hotel staff. In winter there are few people coming and going from the hotel. So, there I was, alone in the dark. The wi-fi doesn't work very well, I could't use my skype or watch a movie from a course I am taking online. It's only to read your email. I couldn't open googlemap to plan my trips. I didn't try the breakfast, as I went to a pattiserie in Gaillard
Close enough to Geneva airport
Place is impossible to find with any GSP system, place seems dodgy
Ok for budget stay , and near the Geneva
not easy to find the location if it's first time to be there
The team is very friendly and helpful, Jean Claude is 100%! Great location, good quality price ratio. Good breakfast with a good price. Free wifi and free parking a good plus.
The time breakfast on weekends should be extended until 11 am
Great value for money good cheap breakfast easy access to white motorway very quiet triple glazing pizza van opposite hotel
No bar but one up the road in mercure hotel
Ideal for the price and good in general.
We liked the price. We had two separate rooms, my kids had two separate beds in their adjoining room.
The beds were so hard I got no sleep, the bathrooms are tiny, and so are the rooms. There is nowhere to put a second suitcase.
Very tidy room, with TV and Wi-fi and breakfast optional for E5,00
I like the price was good
This Hotel was good for price when it comes to comfort and cleanliness. The staff is very helpful.
I travel alot and I always read reviews on hotels before I make reservations. I am not a very picky person at all when it comes to hotels as long as I can save some money. However, I am very big on location when I am traveling to foreign places. This hotel is far from Geneva. You have to take two buses to get to the location. The buses do not run on time. Sometimes you may wait up to a hour to a hour for the bus. The hotel is located in France, in the middle of no where. There is a grocery store close by but no restaurant or anyting near by. Being that the hotel is located in France there are no buses that run in France on Sundays. So unless you have a rental car I would not recommend this place. After reading some of the reviews on the location of this place I seriously wonder where people got their info from. This place is like 30 Minutes from Geneva and even longer after sitting and waiting for buses.
