Considering the budget nature of the hotel it is surprisingly convenient to the key tourist attractions of the tapestry and cathedral.

Price, very reasonable.

Handy location to the town and major roads to/from Bayeux. On site parking. Nice breakfast selection for continental style.

Very small bathroom cubicle. No fridge. Stuffiness of corridor and room smelt of smoke despite being a non-smoking room.

We got a 15% off voucher for a nearby restaurant and the food in there was amazing! Staff spoke English and were very helpful.

Small windows, would be an issue for a long stay

It was a reasonably priced simple hotel which was well placed to get into the city easily.

The rooms were small and with our luggage there was little space to move around in the room.

Clean, modern, efficient (once you work out the electronic booking system), breakfasts simple but very good. The one member of staff was very helpful. Secure. Room cleaned well every day. Bed comfortable. Wi fi worked well. Fair value for money - and not expensive.

Really very stark and basic. Rather like mid range student hall accommodation. Lack of carpet a bit of a shock - but lino throughout shows it is clean. You can't book 4 nights with only breakfast on day 1 on the check in computer.. It's all or nothing. But not a problem in the end. B'fast was good - and staff could accommodate, but it was a bit confusing at 11.00 pm using a computer terminal.

The price is exceptional compared to the competition. We paid €35 for a double, en-suite room which is great when you consider we were only staying there to catch the early ferry from Ouistreham the next day. The room is basic but that is its strength - you don't want to pay for frills when you spend 9 hours there and 7 of those you're asleep!

The free WiFi is fairly useless as the log-on is tortuous and it only allows access to basic sites and certainly doesn't allow email attachments to be downloaded. But if that's all I can find to complain about they're not doing too badly!

Cost Effective Clean Convenient Location Free Wifi

In total stayed 7 days but after 4 days I had to ask for a new code for the Free Wifi (slighty inconvenient)

Early check-in & late check-out. Good location to explore Bayeux and D-day sites. Plenty of information on such sites in reception.

No receptionist during mid-day. Front door wasn't marked pull and didn't appear to have a handle to do so which cost us 5 minutes on the phone to get help. Tea from the vending machine was disgusting.

Location was good for what we wanted. Price was very good. Free 2 hrs of wifi. Over all it was great for a place to sleep.

The bathroom needed a floor mat, and hand towels. Toilet ran....

Fantastic value hotel for dday experience close to everything and the ferries. great restaurant attached to hotel, very clean.

No Kettle or Hairdryer, Poor Signage to locate hotel.

The price was the selling point. The room was adequate size for 2 adults and 2 kids.

I didn't like that we couldn't check in until 5 pm - it should be BOLDLY stated on booking.com website. We also were unable to use the free internet due to the code we were given not working correctly.

Free parking, the restaurant nearby, and the short walk to the city were all good. The price was very good.

Well, the hours of check-in are a little inconvenient and our room had a broken TV.

Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Access to the breakfast made our trip easier with 3 children.

Would have liked to have an additional trashcan in the room along with additional towels. The bathroom with shower was very small but that is typical in Europe. The beds were made daily and the linens were replaced. I am sure if we requested more towels, they would have accommodated us. Good value for the money.

It was clean and the staff very helpful. Good location to the centre and various restaurants.

Basic roadside motel, price-value ratio is acceptable. Staff is of of low quality, hardly speaks English and rather unkind. But this is France, anyway.

outside of town, pretty good walk to city center. Desk closes from 11AM to 5PM.
