Too small bathroom, no space
Very good location
Very central to old and new town. Very clean, including regular changing of towels.
At first, they gave us a double room in the first floor which was stinking from cigarrets and the window view was na internal area full of joints. As we refused to stay there, they gave us a triple room with a front view but even so, the bathroom was like an airplane room.
Near to the train station, to the shopping center and to the main square.
Incredibly small bathroom and not very comfortable bed
really close to train station which is why we chose it
lack of kettle and size of shower
location and price
Tiny bathroom, like in a boatcabin. The room and the furniture are basic, but I hadn't expected it differently.
The location is perfect, fair price/quality. Convenient for a short stay when you don't plan to spend much time in your hotelroom.
Floor in bedroom sloped down toward bed; the bed was not level; head slightly lower than feet. Bathroom: a pre-fabricated unit with not enough room to turn around in shower No shampoo, hair dryer only if asked Room at end of rat maze
Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable price for a basic breakfast Excellent location in centre of Lille Room was clean Low price--but also low value: very basic
Breakfast is poor
Near train-bus station
The breakfast room was like a prison canteen. All the food had to be put on a tray. Cereals were eaten out of a cup.
Smallest double room I've ever had. The ensuite facilities would have been regarded as tiny even in a touring caravan. Although the breakfast cost less than 5euro it was of poor quality.
Staff helpful with directions. Friendly
Don't be fooled by the website pictures! Our room, no 207, was clean but very plain and basic - white walls, no pictures or mirror, lino floor, no rug or carpet. The "balanced", eat-all-you-like breakfast urged by posters around the hotel was high on sugar and carbo-hydrate and little else!! Also we had to payn before being allowed into the room - most unusual with booking.com venues.
The location was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was very quiet. We got what we paid for but not quite what we expected. Fine if you want a central location at basic budget price.
Next to the train station and close to the city center.
One of us thought the beds were great, the other didn't
Locaction and breakfast
The hotel was so incredibly loud (other guests) that I was woken up constantly. The bathroom was the size of an airplane bathroom (literally) and the toilet was pretty much inside the shower. You could probably pull it off one night if needed, but not recommended!
Great location, nice enough employees, quite clean.
My room was smelly and noisy. with odours coming from the bathroom. I was above the reception area and I could hear the sound of the door bell, which rang every time someone entered or left the hotel. Corridor noise also filtered into the room. I also dread to think how it would be in hot weather.
Poor storage, but got round that by booking a twin room, so I could lay out my suitcase on the spare bed, otherwise case would have to go on floor. Wifi very slow...FaceTime barely possible. Pillows a bit on the hard side for my liking. No hair dryer provided, but luckily had brought my own. No bath mat provided. Missed not having a kettle, but didn't expect it to be provided. View of fire escape...room at back of hotel (407?).
Friendly helpful Reception staff. Cosy clean room, but quite basic on fittings. Good lighting for putting on makeup, etc. Brightly but simply decorated which made the room appear more spacious. Opaque screen on window to give more privacy, but still let in light. Comfy beds. Quiet room. Check out at midday. Good shower in compact pod-style bathroom. Suitable for one night. Affordable.
The fact that we asked twice for shower gel and finally had to go down and ask again
The closeness of the stations and shops
Power point in room dangerous.Bathroom very small hard to shower. ,wet floor.
Very handy for train station, after along trip from Amsterdam .Decent breakfast
The room was tucked away: it was like we had to walk through a maze first before we could enter the room! The shower was a sort of booth in the room. I am 6'4" (1.94mtr) tall, so I could barely stand properly in the shower booth. The view from the room was poor.
The hotel was very well located near important sights of Lille. The staff was very helpfull and friendly; they never bothered to answer our questions.
Very helpful staff
The bathroom was so incredibly small it was like showering on an aeroplane! The room was quite large so a proper bathroom could easily be fitted. Unfortunately the lift broke down during our stay.
Once we found the hotel it was in a very good location. The staff was friendly and helpful.
