the bathroom was too old
I liked how friendly and helpful the staff were. They made the short visit a lot easier and enjoyable.
No wifi in the seventh floor and in the others it is very slow.(No había wifi en la séptima planta y en las otras era muy lento)
good loaction parking place price and value
noizy street (but Marseille is so)..
Good central location close to the vieux port.
The rooms badly need refurbishment.
It's an average hotel.
Parking is freaky. It is the strangest parking I have ever seen in my life. I would freak out every time I am going to park or pick up my car.
AC is not working. Staff is not responsive to complaints.
Very Nice staff. Nice clean room.
No safe box.
Rooms were spaceous Air conditioning Good location Clean
Breakfasts were a bit basic (lack of cheese, cold meats and eggs) lack of coffee/tea making facility in room (as is usual in the uk)
only one plug, so charging phone, computer, camera etc. was quite difficult. no plug at the bathroom
neighbourhood dirty worn-out leaking AC TERRIBLE bathroom smelly rooms the worst hotel I have been to so far
Good facilities, convenient traffic condition and nice staffs.
The location is a little remote.
The room was small but I had everything what is necessary. it was calm and clean, towels were changed each day. I had been in this hotel already and would come back. Very good quality in view of the price and very central location, also close to metro stations.
The breakfast is cheap, but did not offer a lot of choice. Wireless internet was available but the signal was very weak. Just enough to read and send emails and to read static web pages.
Friendly staff. Close to the Vieux Port. Comfortable bed.
Slow Internet connection, no hair dryer.
the location was good the price is pleasant and you should take a breakfast - it's not super but you will not find the same at 4.5 euro.
tramps are around the place
Internet connection - disastrous. Air-conditioning was set to hot air and 25 degrees, so it was no sense using it when there was 30 degrees outside. Upon our arrival we made one stain on our sheets and next they they made our bed without changing them.
This hotel is everything you can expect from a two star hotel. It is clean, inexpensive, well located, with kind staff who speak English and a decent buffet breakfast. But no more than that. Everything is realistically shown in the photos of the hotel, check them out to see what you can get there. Good thing is also that the hotel has its own parking garage. Rooms not facing the street are quiet at night. Would recommend for short, non-business stay.
Air condition leaks, and it is placed above the bed, that is one notable downside, but we simply moved the bed a bit and resolved this issue. Wifi signal varies. There is only one plug per room but as this is not a business hotel, I would not really say it is a downside.
Speak at least a little english
canal smell in the first room, in the second OK, noise from the street, working but not cold AC, with luggage hard to reach from the Metro station (the street goes up) hardly working wifi
Street is very noisy Not clean Air con is dripping water
Near to centre and to the old port Quiet place
No free parking
excellent location cheap safe underground private parking (absolutely necessary)
basic room not enough sockets in the room no breakfast included
We are the second time in this hotel. The previous stay we lived 5 days in a triple room which was rather big and clean. This time I was in a double-room with my son. The room was also Ok. We chose this hotel for its location and worth for money, bright rooms, shops around and close way to the centre of the city - the Vport is just round the corner)). The staff and reception was also very kind and helpful with good English. Sure to recommend it for stay in Marseille.
This time we noticed that the floor of the room was not clean, the previous visit everything was perfect. Other places were clean and Ok. Also there was a noise from the street all the night - we lived on the 2nd floor.
Safe parking under the building. But be cautious when using car lift to the under ground. There are markets around (carrefour city).
Street was noisy in the night. Ghetto side of the city. But it is ok for one night.
