Friendly service and good breakfast.
Unable to set room temperature as low as we wished. This did not stop a good night's sleep, though.
The location of the room was very good.
I have stayed here before and the WIFI used to work. It did not do so on this occasion and the staff was unhelpful and irritated when I asked for help.
Clean bed. Easy access and reduced price in Campanile restaurant was welcome. Easy to find.
No plug in sink. Shower head very loose. Had to hold it. Getting toilet paper off roll took a degree in engineering.
Clean family rooms (two beds and a bunk bed over) toilet and shower rather like ferry cabins. Restaurant on site at adjoining hotel (campinale) offering 15% discount on presentation of room key. Good value continental breakfast E4.99
Easy access to Ferry Terminal. Good parking Good value breakfast
No night staff on duty, therefore unable to contact when dripping water from the room above entered our room. Moved the bed and used the waste paper bin to collect water. Morning staff had poor grasp of English but did our best with pigeon French and hand gestures "plop plop".
The wash basin cracked, no plug, no where to hang towels, door of shower room would not close
Value for money Clean Comfortable beds
Tiny room WIFI slow
Comfortable double bed. clean but tiny shower room. Air con. discount available for meals at nearby hotel restaurant which was very good.
Tiny claustrophobic room not helped by single bed over the double which had far too little headroom for any occupant.
Limited selection In the breakfast buffet
nice white bed linen. comfy bed. breakfast very good value. shower hot good pressure. good position. free parking.
breakfast chaos because of coach party on first day. good when cleared.
We didn't really like much about the hotel. By naming the hotel "Saint Malo", one gets the impression it is close to the city. It was still a ten minute drive away, definitely not walking distance.
We stayed at a Premiere Classe the night before in Bayeux. Thus, we were expecting pretty much the same room. That didn't occur. The room was dirty. Not dirty in that the bed wasn't made. It was a dirty that makes you feel dirty the second you enter the room. The walls looked like they were once stained to the core and covered with thin paint. There was a random sticky spot on the floor. There were holes in the walls that weren't properly filled. The bathroom was the smallest I've ever been in, and we travel often. When my husband was using the shower it sounded like he was wrestling a jungle cat. I, too, had problems. The shower head broke off, which then resembled a wild fire hose. Once control resumed the drain didn't quite work and the bathroom soon flooded which proceeded to pour in to the room. The bunk above the bed had a spider web on it, which wasn't helpful when trying to convince my five-year old to go to sleep. She awoke to "itchy legs". Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere.
Handy for the ferry
Very comfy bed and good aircon
only 1 power socket
Convenient to st Malo and ferry port
needed a cheap room for the night and this is it. good location to get to the ferry in the morning.
check in only open for a short time so you need to get there at a specific time
Basic, functional, cheap hotel, for veterans or overnight stay. I did not have real problems for I knew what will find. They gave me a room in ground floor, as I had requested. Wifi did work. Good parking lot.
In spite of GPS, although I saw the hotel, did not know how to get to entrance. It should be better indicated.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location, very handy for the St Malo ferry. We saw the funny side of booking into such a rubbish place i.e. that sitting in the nearby McDonalds was better than being in the room.
Small smelly room, cracked sink, grubby, dirty tissues in the bin when we got there, tiny windows, dust and hairs in the corner, chunks of plaster missing from the ceiling. No wardrobes just hooks. Lino floor.
We liked how the hotel is set up like an American motel. With the doors to the rooms opening to the outside, made it extremely easy to get our luggage to and from the car, and was just a quirky hotel style.
The hotel, as all of the Premiere class hotels are function over form, they are not overly comfortable, they are utilitarian, but that's fine when you consider how affordable a night's stay is.
location service .
bed not very confortable
Ideal for the ferry port
Didn't see any staff it was self check in even though arrived before 17.00 also rather a lot if cobwebs on the wall and ceiling. Rather tired decor.
Great hotel for staying to get to the early morning ferry. Very clean and comfortable bed.
Good value breakfast, very convenient location for port of St Malo. Pretty village with large supermarket for last minute shopping, choice of restaurants.
position was good
the room was not as clean as it should be. we asked for a no smoking room but stunk of cigarettes
A friendly welcome and they accommodated my husband's disability by putting us on the ground floor.
The room was very tired. Sheets appeared to be damp.
Peeling basin in washroom
