The shower cubicle was very small and showered onto the wc. I had to edge round the bottom of the bed. However, for the price it was fine.

Do your self a favour find an ibis hotel

It was 27th August. We were very tired and in transit from our campsite in Messanges to Caen. I was able to book the hotel from our caravan on the Friday online, from your very clear website. We were booking last minute because we had to get home 1 day early due to a family emergency. We had problems getting to Chateauroux because of traffic jams on the way and the only way I could contact your hotel to warn them that we would be late was via my son's ipod, from which I picked up the internet. Because it was a busy day for travel and there were traffic jams around Bordeaux the orange network was down. As a gmail customer the service I get piggy backs on the orange network and so I was lower priority than other customers and couldn;t get through to warn your hotel staff that we would arrive after 8, in the prescribed way. Your staff are obviously efficient enough to monitor their emails, even after their cut-off deadline of 8pm (ours was sent just before 8pm). I had no way of getting a reply as we had to leave the wifi environment to drive on. However the member of staff on duty was quite clearly in residence at the desk when we arrived. He had clearly been waiting for us and went outside and locked the gates once we were in. We had come from a caravan, where we had been cold each night, certainly for the 4 days prior to our departure.Your rooms were very comfortable and just the right temperature. The breakfast was just what was required, especially the coffe and hot milk. Our children, aged 14, 12 and 6, loved all the little touches at breakfast, like your toaster, which was a luxury item to us Brits, in spite of your country's lovely croissants and bready breakfast goods. So I would like to say Thank you Hotel Premiere classe

The only problem we had was that the number that I had noted down from the website only works from France as it is a special rate number. This seems brilliant until you realise that the fact that the number works from France is irrelevant if you are on a mobile phone with a British sim card. Thankfully, because we have tomtom, we were able to get the directline number from it but other travellers from the United Kingtonm might not have that luxury, especially if they are coming by means other than by car or are more old school and use maps

It was cheap and the young staff made an effort to do the right thing.

We got in late but our keycard wouldn't open the carpark gate, so we had a small panic attack. The room was too short for a double bed and the bed cover had a cigarette burn in it. The toilet and shower cubicle was ridiculous. The ceiling in the dining area was far to low and just made you feel like a cave dweller.

En consultant le site, la réservation a été proposée. Comme nous avions besoin de 2 chambres, il a été inscrit 1 chambre de 2 au nom de hoarau Gilbert et 1 chambre de 3 au nom de briee Natacha. N'ayant pu imprimer le bon, nous avons pris note du n° de réservation. Or à notre arrivée, la réceptionniste n'ayant pas retrouvé cette réservation elle nous a facturé les 2 chambres. Pour info, les 40€ payés en chèques vacances portent le nom briee avec son adresse. J'ai été surpris d'avoir été débité de 40€ le 31/03/2012 pour une chambre réservée au nom de briee Natacha et non annulée lors de mon arrivée à l'hôtel ni au paiement du 30/03/2012.

Les chambres devraient être davantage aérées. Certaines sentent le tabac ou le renfermé.
