I understand that hotels in paris are rather small and expensive. But honestly, when I opened the door of my double room (4th floor), I was shocked by it's size..... It's like a room for two minions... I have a small apartment in Germany, but this double room is smaller than the bathroom of my small apartment!!!
In the room: The bed takes 80% of the space, and a useless wandrobe takes the 15%. Then there's 5% of the space for you and your luggage.
I have to unpack and pack my luggage in the hallway (outside the room). You can never get your things organized. Because there's no space at all!!!
If two people stay in the room in the same time, one has to sit on the bed if the other one wants to walk.
Because the room was so small and the wall was so thin, it was also noisy in the morning. I even knew my neighbors were a Korean couple, because I could hear every words they were saying!
I felt that I was totaly cheated by the photos this hotel put on booking.com, because of the angles, you can not tell the real size of some rooms.
So, my suggestion is, before you decide to stay in this hotel, try to sleep in your wardrobe to find out if you can stand the situation.
The location. It's in the very center of paris, 10min walk to the pyramid, 10min walk to metro station. There's a lot of bars and restaurants around.
Although this hotel is in a crowed area, it's quiet during the night.
The staff were helpful and friendly, always smile at you.
The room is clean, and the cleaning lady is very quick and efficient.
Price. 80 Euro per night. It's probably the lowest price for a hotel in the center. Although I complained a lot about the room size, to be fair, the price and the location are unbeatable
