The staff was excellent - very helpful and friendly. The location was wonderful - near so much of what we wanted to see, including the Louvre, Opera, etc.
Although the bathroom was very modern, the bedroom decor was very dated. Too much noise coming from the lingerie room.
Centrally located hotel with helpful and polite staff , located in a quiet street. The room was small ,but very clean. Breakfast was good and hearty. In ten minutes , walking, we were in Place Vendome, or Musee d'Orsai, or in Boulevard Haussmann... super! From Gare de Lyon with the Metro' Central Line comes down Tuleries 5 minutes away from the hotel...easy and cheap.
Hotel is walking distance from Metro so it's easy to travel to other parts of Paris. Hotel is walking distance to many nice food, shopping and attractions too. Toilet is surprisingly modern and very clean. Love the warm.. very very hot shower! Service staff are very friendly.
Room is very very basic. Don't expect much. Room was stuffy.. Had to open window for some cool air. Overall still had a good night of sleep.
I have stayed in Prince Albert for many years. It offers an unbeatable combination of location, value and comfort. My clean room had space, a renovated bathroom, excellent wifi. The staff are professional and helpful.
Almost all of the staff were very friendly, and helpful. The on-suite bathroom excellent; and the towels replaced daily.
The bed was ancient, and creaked, the wall papered in the last century, and the room generally unkempt. No facility for making tea or coffee in the room; and the 'manager' refused to allow us to take the cups he had to the room, because he needed them for breakfast! Got some advice here; buy some more cups.
The location was excellent; central, within walking distance from most prime sites.
The hotel is somewhat run down, clean but not cared for.
The hotel location is very well communicated with public transport and it is quiet overnight to enjoy a relaxing sleep.
The decoration is too old fashion and too black.
nice bathroom, very central location, friendly reception
old furniture, wifi disconnected often, small room to courtyard
I liked the environment of the hotel, starting from the door with its historic key & lock, then to the room antique furniture, which flash back your memo to old Parisian days in early of last century....then you get surprised with a modern bathroom inside........, also its so close to the Louvre museum & all public transport means are close to, incl, the Metro.....
Its near by some bars, where some drunk attenders start crying loudly at mid nights....... Fruits as salad or fresh missing from breakfast options.......
This was the best location for walking to all everywhere !!! Small, boutique style with very helpful staff. Loved the small single room
Very kind staff Excellent location, near metro Took care of the luggage after check out
Didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on this
The front desk was very helpful and accomodating relative to watching our luggage and providing information on bus services and places to visit. They also were more than willing to assist us with any issue with our room. The room was very nice..
Would like to see a complimentary tea service with a crossiant in the morning if not interested in a bigger breakfast so that you could meet others and have a great start to the day.
Great location, close to everything, staff were very friendly. Furnishings old and dated but clean and tidy.
Shower in very high bathtub, safe didn't work.
Room and bath were tiny and poor sound proofing!
Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Modern bathroom.
At some point mattress will need changing.
excellent staff,great position,cheap.
Room was clean, tidy, and in good repair. Bathroom was nicely remodeled. Good value for the price. I would stay here again.
Location, so close to everything we wanted to see, had stayed in Paris twice before at different hotels. The staff were very friendly and helpful with a ready smile.
The shower head fell off the wall (management were going to see to it) and the carpet had a very dusty, musty smell, a good shampoo might have fixed the issue.
Location was very good
We did not get ou wake up call As ordered and therefore had to Rush to the airport.
I stayed for 5 nights in this hotel. great location: in the morning you can bring some coffee and sandwich and have breakfast in tuilri garden in 1-2 mins walk (metro stat is over there also). we used metro very random and had walking a lot around almost all surroundings: louvre, opera, gallery laff., st honore, galles.. Personnel is friendly. Lot of bistro around and boutiques. Big renovated bath room. Nice place for a short stay.
Room is tiny and 2 people can hardly be placed - not for long time and no luggage; shabby furniture, not so much clean. You can hear your neighbors all the time.
Great service and location!
Location and friendly staff.
The room is a little bit tight.
This is our third time in Paris we have previously stayed in the Latin quarter so this was the first time in the Louvre district and it is a great place to stay, heaps to do, good restaurants, easy walks to places and shopping for those who want to. Hotel is clean, tidy and friendly and the bathroom was modern and great.
The lift is really small if you have big bags (but that is Paris and it is something that we could live with).
Exceedingly helpful staff always ready to help, friendly and insightful suggestions from staff to make best use of time available in experiencing the best of Paris, convenient location, value for money
compact room barely enough for person and luggage
