- comfortable rooms - very good cleaning staff - helpful staff
cheap,great location,comfortable bed,good food nearby
The day employees were extremely nice, the location amazing, shower in the room even with the toilet shared.
No elevator, several small defects in doors, plugs, sheets, etc
clean and cheap
too few showers for many rooms, internet in my room wasn't working most of the time
Too noisy, the walls do not isolate at all. You can even here when people next room receive a new message in Whatsapp. The internet doesn't work properly. Quite old and not so clean
Good location, cheap for Paris
Only one shower between 50 odd rooms and the light kept going out whilst in the shower, and paper thin walls
Excellent location. Near a few stations. Just round the corner from Eifel Tower. Definitely go there at night and take some wine or some beers. Pretty cheap for Paris.
I was on the 6th floor (there's no lift), which is ok, but not fun when you arrive with a suitcase/luggage etc. Additionally, hopefully they have sorted it out by now, but the Internet didn't work for the two days that I was there. I asked the staff after the first day, and they said they had some connection problems, but that they had called someone, but it never worked during my stay. If they sort out the Internet, then this is a great low-budget choice.
location: almost near to the center.
Tooooo smelly smoke. When we entered to our room, we found it full of smoke and just opened the winodow for 3 hours,,, but no works. Once, I called the staff for the internet problem (NO INTERNET), he answered me in a very impolite way and just cut my call.,,, There is no internet in this hotel. it was really difficult to carry my baggage for 4 floors with very very narrow stairs. no bathroom in our floor... I can say for almost 20-30 rooms, only one bathroom...
Great location for walking to the Eiffel Tower and food if you don't mind paying a bit more to eat. Good for metro as well but pretty much anywhere withing the city is good for metro.
Staff was a bit rude. Room smelled a bit but I guess for the price it was alright.
the hostel is situated not far from Effel Tower, 15-min walk, and right near metro, so if you want to reach some distant districts of Paris - it's not a problem. The rooms are clean (staff cleans it every day) and the value is good for such money (the price was realy low and the nice man on the reception even made a discount for us). It's a good choice for travelling.
The location of the hotel is very bad. It is so far from the city center and around the hotel, there are many drug sellers, thieves and other bad things. When we enter the hotel, in the hall, there was a dirty underwear on the ground, everywhere was very dirty. The rooms door was not safe. We couldn't even lock it safely. That's why I couldn't sleep easily. Bathroom is very dirty and closet doesn't have cover. I can't even call this place "hotel","hostel" etc. Sleep in the street instead od sleeping in this hotel.
-proximity to the metro -quiet area -the area was well-stocked services
-toilette too small and the door was painful -feel too many sounds (noisy floors/locks/wc)
Super close to the Eiffel Tower. Really close to public transport. Friendly and helpful staff. A short walk to everything.
Amazing location for the price, so close to the Eiffel Tower. Staff were helpful and let us store our bags before and after check in/out. Comfortable room
Quite a few stairs.
Place of the hotel was just 10mins walking distance to eiffel towel and just few mins all local shops.
Receptionist man was not talking in english , i felt not welcomed. On the other hand lady was very helpful.
The bed and basin were very clean, the staff spoke serviceable English, and the interior was well-lit.
The stairs were difficult to navigate with suitcases, but there's no fixing that without a lift, and the smoke from another room could be smelled. The floor carpet was dirty so I kept my sandals on. Also there's no AC, so hot nights would be tough. We were lucky to be there during a cool spell with only one warm night.
The location is a great start for sightseeing(20m walk to eiffel tower), Staff is extremely friendly and willing to help, Restaurants & Metro really close, Simple breakfast for a nice price. Rooms are simple, but clean and have everything you need as a sightseeing tourist.
The wifi gets overcrowded in the evening and pretty much unusable.
the location in center of Paris friendly
very small no elevator very noisy
Stairs to 3rd floor, numerous cracked & broken tiles in shower,no soap holder/no base for hand held shower(had to hold & wash at the same time) no tea/coffee making facilities (would have bought my own ingredients)general overall condition, very 50;s Male at reception, unhelpful, couldn't speak English, thought was strange being in the Hotel business.
the infernal noise every time someone takes a shower at any floor
affordable and accessible
There was no shower
Most of he hotel staffs are friendly even though some of them cannot speak English. We booked for double room with external bathroom but the owner kindly gave us a room with shower. The location is close to the metro, La Motte Picquet station (around 5 mins walik). Good for people with a small budget.
The bedsheet and the room are not so clean and smell not good. Only one plug in a room. Wifi signal in our room is poor. No elevator.
Good place for a short staying, especially for job travels and low budget.
The pilows were absolutely stinking like dump, unbelievable.. Also douvets could be a bit thicker.
Not much to like. Hotel rooms dirty and staff are rude.
I booked & paid for room stating a private (external) bathroom. When I got there I was put into a room opposite a smelly (share) toilet with bathroom (share) at the end of the corridor. I asked to be put into the room I had paid for (private facility) which became a problem. The staff tried to extract another 15 euro/day for the private bathroom which I did not pay. I was shifted from the 2nd floor to the 5th (no lift) with the male on reception claiming there were no other rooms available with private bathroom. He even showed me the bookings and I noted the hotel was less than 50% full so found it hard to believe there was not another ensuited room in the hotel. The weekend night manager was rude and non caring when I asked to use the phone to confirm my airport shuttle. He was all joy until he understood that I was confirming an existing booking, (no $ for a booking) which is when he became uncooperative. He shrugged his shoulders and didnt care that my room phone would not work and he refused to allow me to use the reception phone.
