The room was clean, but basic which is what we expected. We booked due to not having to pay a deposit and could cancel within 24 hours if necessary due to personal reasons. Reception staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Bar facilities seemed very limited or possibly locked away in the evening upon returning from a restaurant for a nightcap at the hotel, also the bar area was not very inviting. Ourselves and other guests declined the hotel breakfast possibly due to cost. |

We booked a room on the top (third) floor, with lovely oblique views out over the bay of Villefranche through the french windows which opened on a tiny balcony. It took just five minutes to walk down the steep-ish hill to the old town and quayside with its shops and restaurants, or to the citadel and on to the old port. The bed was comfortable. This is the sort of hotel that appeals to us; slightly old and characterful as opposed to new and elegant. In the hotter weather, the gardens and patio are sheltered and pleasant in which to relax or have the in-house breakfast. The hotel is close to the main bus routes to local villages and the larger cities, with local shops and cafes and gardens nearby, and regular market days. I would'nt say "did not like" but in a hotel of this type at this price, you have to accept that the woodwork has seen quite a few coats of gloss paint in its time. Personally I think that adds character, and I liked the Mediterranean colours which were very much in keeping with Villefranche itself. |

The hotel was clean, bed comfortable. The breakfasts were good and the dining room staff friendly and helpful. We had a room with a "view of the village" and it was in need of redecoration and several minor repairs. |

I loved this hotel. The staff is polite, the rooms have beautiful sea views. You can connect the pc and see all the channels on tv. A very charming hotel at a nice price. The breakfast is rich and you can have it in a delicious garden. |

Very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful views from seaside rooms. Pleasant staff and clean rooms. Location in the middle of the cote d'azur is a big plus - easy to travel by train to other spots along the coast. Parking a car is extremely difficult. Staff tried to help but really needed to have some options on a map or some way to explain possibilities. |

For the price, the hotel was great. About a 15 minute walk to a picturesque beach and right in the old pedestrian city. Our room on the seaside had a lovely view of the sea. |

Unser Wunsch nach einem anderen Zimmer wurde umgehend erfüllt. Die neuen Meerblickzimmer haben den Urlaub gerettet!!! Danke Die Parkplatzsituation im allgemeinen. Das Hotel hat keine ausgewiesenen Parkplätze. Das Frühstück war für französische Verhältnisse sehr gut, aber eine frische Tomate und etwas frisches Obst wären toll gewesen.Besonders, wenn man wie wir über eine Woche dort frühstückt. |

Ho apprezzato la gentilezza dello staff e la bellezza mozzafiato delle stanza con vista mare. La posizione dell'hotel è ottima in ogni caso, e la mattina, la colazione nel giardino è un incanto. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è eccellente. Un hotel per conoscere un posto da sogno come Villefranche che consiglierei a tutti. |

die tolle Lage mit blick aufs meer, flat tv hotel ist in die jahre gekommen, ohne große renovierung, betten zu weich, frühstück für 8 euro nicht zu empfehlen, mini aufzug, parkplatz ist schwer zu finden. |

Fin beliggenhed med flot udsigt over bugten i Villefrance. Tæt på den hyggelige by og havnen med fine restaurenter og cafér. Hele hotellet trænger til "opdatering". Der trænger til at blive malet, og der er ikke meget hygge på værelserne. |

A mis dos hijos adolescentes les gusto el desayuno (tipo bufet). El precio estaba bien. Los banos son muy desactualizados, las paredes de nuestro cuarto estaban forradas en un tipo de tela (como lana) en clima caliente! Y nada limpias! |
