Great location, especially as a solo traveller, was right in centre ville in a safe and well lit area. Staff were very accommodating and everything was made available, including telephone numbers for all kinds of services you may require and room service.

Excellent position. Very clean room. Good bathroom. The room and the bed were very small and therefore did not represent good value for money. Generally a good experience but would not stay there again.

Nice location. coffee machine for a 3 star hotel is a good service.. spot lights by the bedside is a good choice. Separate toilets with no water are not practical. we could not have Euronews and CNN international on tv. But we did not ask for service for setting these channels..

The loction is excelent, just half block from the mais shopping street, many bars and restaurants close by, and not noise. The bad and bathroom where great. Did not have any real problem. This is not a real probelm, but since I went to the hotel by taxi and got my car the next day, I probably would not get there by myself, because it is in a area forbidden for cars. So, to get there you need to pass to authorization stations, and the parking has to be in a public area, close to the hotel, nice and safe. Not expensive.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of town. Never the less the hotel was really quiet, we had a room facing the back overlooking the rooftops of the old town. We had a few 'singers' one night from the street outside but it didn't disturb us too much. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable also. The rooms are pretty basic, but well decorated & very comfortable. The bathroom again was spotless & well equipped. Other reviews said the staff were incredible, I wouldn't go as far as this but they were pleasant & helpful enough. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as the patesseries were too close & too good! I would highly recommend this hotel. I guess the only thing would be they were pretty mean on their tea/coffee supplies!

Location good, staff friendly. Think 'Travelodge' or 'Premier Inn', but twice the price. Rooms smelt funny and were tiny and very dark. Small, prison-like window which looked onto a wall. Phones did not work, even to phone reception! Really poor value for money, apart from the Nespresso machine, Will not stay here again.

Perfect location and the hotel was immaculate Not very friendly staff. Service was poor when asked for toothbrush, they had only 1 (what was that?). The hotel did not have any umbrellas. There was a little irritating tax to be paid after what we thought was an a fully paid up stay.

Staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and good size for the price range. Perfect location. (Did not try the breakfast as thought best to go out to a local cafe) If I really had to find a fault it would be the shower.

In relation to question 1, reason for booking: it was within our budget and had favourable reviews on the booking website. Another hotel we had considered previously had very poor reviews. We liked the size of the room, and the size and cleanliness of the bathroom - a very pleasant change from the cupboards passing for rooms in Paris and showers where the taps take up half the space for standing in. The staff were friendly and helpful and we liked the location of the hotel up near the Opera area. Also it wasn't very far from a car park, just a few blocks and we made two trips with our luggage. We would certainly consider staying with you again. The breakfast was good too, comparing what is offered in many hotels. Our room trapped the afternoon sun which would be lovely in winter! But it meant that we had to leave the curtains shut since it was far too hot, especially with only a quilt. Perhaps a sheet or light blanket could be provided in these rooms. We were told the airconditioning wasn't operating because it was only March. But this March has been particularly warm since daytime temperatures were between 20-24 degrees ans the nights were also warm

Love the location for it's proximity to restaurants and shopping. Had a great vibe in the area. We came in from the airport by taxi, so didn't have to concern ourselves with trying to get to the hotel with our luggage. Only taxies have access in the old town area it seems, so we were very glad we were only picking up our rental car on the way out of Bordeaux.
