Central location in beautiful Bordeaux. Small but extremely comfortable. Helpful staff.
The location in the city. Centre is great for walking, shopping and dining out.
Location was excellent, right in the centre of the pedestrian centre, restaurants and shops. Comfortable room with good sized bathroom.
Attentive and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Good bed. Room a bit on the small side but perfectly convenient.
Location is great. Friendly staff
Pillow too hard - could hardly sleep due to them. Bedcover too warm - I had to open the window to get some sleep and refresh the room.
Location, cleanliness, helpful staff
Small toilet room, no view, facility needs updated
Location of hotel was excellent. Beds were extremely comfortable and hotel was very clean.
I booked a 31m sq room triple room based on the website. I was given a much smaller room. When I asked the hotel staff, they said that all their triple room were the same. So, beware if you are expecting a bigger room check with hotel first.
Decent sized room, good quality bed and decor, excellent location, friendly staff
Hotel bar a little pricey (but there are plenty of other options if you go out the door and walk 50 yards)
The hotel was within walking distance of most of the interesting places in central Bordeaux. We particular enjoyed the area around the Cathedral. The cafes and restaurants were good. It was just a few yards from the shopping street of Rue St Catherine.
Parking was difficult and it took us one and a half hours after crossing the bridge (Pont du Pierre?)to negotiate all the one way/cyclist only roads to find the car park we were heading for. However in future we would know how to get there.
Great location near the river and very good restaurants. Staff was great in dining suggestions and making reservations. We would stay again. Aloha
Don't go on their recommended wine tour, it sucked. We would stay there again. Aloha
espresso machine and very clean
No rail into shower and tub side was very high - hard to get in and out - fear of slipping with no grip
The location could not be better - right in the heart of the Old Town. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff could not help enough. they were both efficient and patient
Right in the heart of the old city, behind Place de la Bourse and just off rue de Sainte-Catherine. Easy check-in and out, clean overall. Nespresso machine in the room, well appreciated
Phonic isolation must have been an option... Located in a room at first floor not far from the breakfast room, it was a real inconvenince in the morning. As well, the room above had a wake-up call at 6am which did wake me up as well, and the subsequent noise (apparently for check out preparation)
Location Room service Free internet Comfy bed Clean room
The location couldn't have been better. Be forewarned that if you arrive on a Saturday or Sunday the pedestrian traffic is so great that Taxis cannot deliver you to the hotel. It is not a long walk however. Any other day is just fine.
This is almost general for almost all hotels in France! Why can't they have a reasonable option for breakfast? In this case there was a Paul's 3 minutes away which we used. I do appreciate the coffee maker in the room!!!!
Location and staff
Locality, good size rooms, clean hotel
Noise from the street was annoying
Location, comfortable bed, quite, a/c
Breakfast additional cost, height of bath containing shower
Bang in the middle of the city. Could not fault the hotel.
Perfect location (many restaurants and shops), nice bedroom, cleaness
No parking (cars are not allowed in Rue Ste Catherine)
The location was excellent, at the heart of the shopping and eating precincts. The room was comfortable, really liked the idea of the Nespresso machine in the room.
A little hard to get to as it is in a pedestrian precinct.
It's a great location - staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was small but I guess that's the standard in much of France. View not great but we did ask for quiet room.
Room did have a bit of a peculiar smell - although not intolerable. Once you were in it you didn't notice for long but on coming in it was fairly noticeable.
Location in center, easy from TGV station Staff dinner recommendations

Accessibility to the hotel (very hard to get too through the bollards in old town streets)
This hotel was located in the historic "old city" within steps of terrific bars, restaurants, shopping and major sights of Bordeaux! Public transportation was also near. A friendly helpful staff and clean, well appointed rooms.
Rooms that fronted onto St Catherine could be a bit noisy into the night. Suggest asking for a higher floor or a room facing the rear of the hotel.
