Clean room. Contemporary decor. Location not so convenient. Not a particularly nice neighbourhood. |

The lobby and the breakfast. Too expensive. The first room we had looked nothing like the nice designs in the website. The room was old, falling apart, tacky. We changed rooms for one of the recently renovated ones, and though smaller, it was more relaxing, but still not worht the high price. |

The Pulitzer hotel is located in a very lively theatre neighbourhood in the north centre of Paris. The lobby and the reception areas of the hotel have a trendy design. That was the reason for me to pick this hotel. The bed was good and the room was quiet. I made reservations with Pulitzer because of its contemporary trendy design as you can see on the website. The room I got was in a completely different and mediocre style. Not at all alike the pictures on the website. That was very disappointing. When I complained about this I learned that not all rooms have been renovated yet. So, when you book this hotel, you need to make sure you get a room that has been renovated. |

We stayed 3 nights & found the Pulitzer Hotel very comfortable..very close to the train station, very good restaurants & Bars..the staff went out of their way to please us at all times...the breakfast room & food was very good...they were kind enough to take care of our 2 larger luggage bags..when we took a side trip for 2 nights to Belgium..& returned for another night at the Pulitzer..nothing seemed a problem to the staff..we had a very enjoyable stay..we have no hesitation in recommending the Pulitzer Hotel. |

The location was excellent and convenient for the metro. The entrance and bar/lounge area were very impressive and quite opulent. Lovely comfortable beds, although the bathroom could have benefited from being updated. The breakfast area was an interesting layout and the food was really good with a large selection to choose from. The male hotel reception staff were rude and dismissive. After an evening out, we returned to the hotel after midnight and although the reception desk was manned by somebody, he did not raise his head from whatever he was reading, to acknowledge us and at that time of night, we could have been anybody just walking into the hotel and the staff should be more security conscious and also exercise some manners. We were also ignored one morning coming down to breakfast, passing through receiption, and would expect the courtesy of a 'good morning' as a minimum. Another disappointing aspect was that the hotel bar is closed Sunday and Monday evenings (which were the nights we stayed there), which was a shame as the bar area was really nice. |

breakfast room attendance was very helpful. room was very small and bed too soft. Extra bed was squeaky and noisy. Hallway carpet was dirty and worn out and did not reflect the chic decor we saw in the reception area. |

Rooms being cleaned daily. Breakfast was great! Slippers and clean towels on bed as we entered. Great tv. Clean, air-conditioning and facilities were just so nice. The bar area didnt seem to be used much by guests? Wooden floors in room 405 needs renewed. More englidh speaking channels on tv (Sky tv) Excess to a kettle to have tea/coffee in room. There was no price-list for mini bar. |

We really enjoyed our stay at Pulitzer Paris; it is a high end 3 star European hotel. The location is perfect as it is situated in a very nice neigborhood with low concentration of tourists unlike areas such as Notre Dam/ St. Michel and Eiffel Tower. You get to experience the Parisiens way of life and mix in with the local, many of whom work in the bank and office buildings nearby. You can walk to the beautiful Montmarte area and grand department store (Lafayette & Printemp) within 15 mins. The metro is 2 mins away and it pretty much gets you anyway you like. The staff at the hotel is very friendly, attentive and helpful, especially Delphine and Tariq, who work at the reception desk. The room is very clean and the decor is chic. The mattress is a bit lumpy, not enough padding, feel a bit like a sofa bed. |

The location was ok and the communal areas very nice Warning !! I found that the hotel was not what I was expecting, the communal areas were stylish and up to date and as reprosented on the website but the moment that the lift doors opened and I walked to my room I was dissapointed. The hotel room was dated and not at all what I was expecting, it felt like I had walked through a door into a different hotel. I was not impressed and would not reccomend this hotel to anyone, it was overpriced for what was on offer. |

the location of the hotel was exellent. The bathroom was clean, large and well appointed. i feel that the room was too compact and that the access to the room through lift or stair gave a feeling of clautrophobia. |

It was a very nice hotel, nice decoration and very confortable rooms. It was quite and still very close to all major sites. Had nice restaurants and bars near by, not too expensive and good shops. |

The location was great and within walking distance to most of the main sights in Paris. The staff were multi-lingual and very helpful and the breakfast choices were wonderful. The lobby area is tastefully furnished and extemely relaxing. Unfortunately the room we were given was different from that shown on the internet and was very small. However parts of the hotel are undergoing renovations and maybe this room will also be updated. |

Staff helpful and friendly - room was well equipped and very clean. Our room was at the back on the 3rd floor and was very quiet. It is a bit out of the main tourist area so meant a lot of time and expense travelling. |

I liked the quirkiness of the hotel reception and the breakfast was excellent. It's a shame the theme doesn't run through the hotel (when we arrived at our floor the carpet was worn and there was paint peeling), but I wonder if the floors and rooms will be next to be renovated? Despite the drab hallways and lift area, the room was clean and tidy. |

I thought that the buffet breakfast was excellent and the lady who served the breakfast was attentive and helpful. The hot food is good especially the scrambled egg ans sausages. There was also a good selection of fresh fruit fresh bread and pastrys. The stone floors in the bedrooms work as far as cleanliness is concerned. Much cleaner than a dusty carpet The hotel is not worth the nightly price. Whilst the room was clean and tastefully decorated it is very basic. The stone floor would not work for example during the winter. I wouldn't say that the ordinary rooms merit a boutique rating. However, I can see that the hotel perhaps has a boutique status because of the lounge area which is quite nice and unusual apart from the ongoing work with a few floor boards missing. I also hated the fact that the cleaner left the air conditioning on all day which meant that the room was very cold when we returned each evening. |
