1) Great location - just 2-3 short blocks away from Grands Boulevards Metro station. Lots of restaurants/cafes and small groceries along rue du Faubourg Montmarte and Grands Boulevards themselves. 2) Spacious room - booked a Double Club Room and we had enough space even for the pram. En suite bathroom was spacious as well. 3) Warm, friendly staff. 4) Good buffet breakfast selection. 1) Halls could be quite dark as the walls were painted black, and it took a little while for the motion-activated lights to turn on. 2) Not all bathrooms are fitted with a bathtub, you might need to ask the front desk if you want one in your en suite.

The reception staff is very kind and helpful. We arrived earlier (10 a.m.) and in 2 hours the room was ready for us (instead of 2 p.m.). The room is normal for a hotel in Paris, but clean and nice. The hotel is just 200 m away from Grand Boulevards metro station.

My daughter and I stayed at Pulitzer for six nights. It was clean, quiet, and everyone working at the hotel was exceptionally accommodating. The breakfast was exceptional each morning. We particularly liked the style of the hotel and the decor. We would definitely stay at the Pulitzer in the future.

Staff always very kind. Too bad, totally decadent, I do not recommend. The staff is very nice, but do not know what to do when the air conditioning does not work (in Paris were 32 degrees) or when the hotel have no hot water. In three days of lodging, one night the air conditioning did not work and the morning of the third day there was no hot water, which is unthinkable for the cost of daily charged. The impression is that they reformed the room, which is well decorated but very small, and forgot to reform the facilities!!!

The rooms are rather small so if you were planning a romantic weekend it would be compact. The rooms were decorated to a fashionable standard and although the bathroom was small it was well designed, clean and fashionable, and the additional choices of shower were superb. The lobby and seating areas were also very nice, I did not have time for breakfast. I would recommend the Hotel for shopping as location excellent.

The Hotel has a very beautiful design, the staff is very polite and make all you want possible. Congratulations! The breakfast is very good for Paris standards. We got the twin superior room, so we had enough space and comfort. It is like a 3 star superior hotel. The room is sound isolated and you sleep like an angel. The location could not be better. Near the metro, restaurants, Hard Rock Cafe, bistros, etc. Of course that everything in Paris is very expensive and this hotel was not different. The prices are high for a 3 star hotel, but it's worth. We would definitely stay there again. The shower has not any isolation and the bathroom get very wet. But this is not a negative point, just a constructive criticism. If you put a glass in the box, everything become perfect.

Good Location. Friendly and Helpful Staff. Good Breakfast (not included.) Reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Rooms are quiet but small as expected for Paris. Hallways were dark. They illuminted when you stepped in but it was hard to adjust. The shower was odd and at times soaked the bathroom floor.

Very good location, interesting style, good breakfast(not only croissant, butter and coffe as many other French hotels :)), friendly and helpful staff. Rooms want to be similar as the typical small hired room by a poor artist in 19th century, of course adapted to modernity, trying to feel the Parisian atmosphere. Free internet connection. Small rooms, but normal for Paris. Nothing else.

The hotel deserves more than 3 stars. It was recently renovated and offers all comforts of at least a 4 star hotel, it has character, the room was small but cute and functional and very clean, and the staff very very nice and helpful.

Very much design hotel; atmospheric lobby, polished concrete floors, mood lighting etc. Location was pretty good with many small cafes and bars nearby - a little distance from the sights like the Eiffel Tower but not particularly touristy area more than made up for it. The management were responsive to an issue raised during our stay, and corrected it (NB after considerable discussion - see below). On our initial check in, we were advised that breakfast wasn't included with the rate. As we had been staying in a number of hotels throughout Europe with different conditions we failed to check our Booking.com reservation and took her at her word (note to self). On checkout, and after traipsing around to find breakfast each day, another staff member at reception told us breakfast had indeed been included in our rate. Although he was unable to refund for the difference on checkout he provided details for the manager, who eventually refunded the difference after several email exchanges. She was somewhat apologetic and offered several solutions to remedy the problem, eventually refunding an approximate amount for our meals outside of the hotel. For a stay costing several hundred euros, it is our expectation that small issues would be able to be resolved immediately (or at least quickly) rather than several weeks after the fact.
