The location and design of the hotel. The price was too expensive for the service they provide. It's a very beautiful and fency hotel, but for the price I payed there was too much details missing. They don't change the towels unless you ask for it, there was only one soap for all 5 days I stayed, the drain of the bath was blocked and during the shower the water spilled in the hole bathroom flor (they changed my room after that). One day I went for breakfast and forgot my wallet, wen I got back there was 3 mades and they were looking up my stuff and making jokes during cleaning and got paralyzed wen saw me, since it was my last day I decided not to make a trouble of this, but very unprofessional service.

Absolutely love the decor and really like the very interesting location it is quite outside the usual very touristy locations. The staff were always very nice and helpful and you get a real sense of being in a real part of Paris. Also liked the buffet breakfast was included in the room price as lots of other hotels charge a lot extra for it. Just thought it a shame that the buffet breakfast was obviously put out perhaps the night before as the bread was stale and the yoghourts were not cold from the fridge.Otherwise I liked everything else.

We always stay at the Pulitzer hotel because of their value for money and the fantastic location. Its within easy walking distance from the city centre and we love the area. It has an authentic Parisian feeling about it, good bars and restaurants, shops and cafes. The hotel is kind of 'boutique' and its design rooms are lovely. Their beds are very very comfortable. Bathroom showers are to die for!!!! Breakfast is excellent and with daily newspapers.

Location The very small room I had during this stay, it really lets the hotel down, I have previously stayed here and had a suite which was excellent. It is a shame there is such inconsisitency between rooms as it will put me off wanting to stay again

The hotel deserves more than 3 stars. It was recently renovated and offers all comforts of at least a 4 star hotel, it has character, the room was small but cute and functional and very clean, and the staff very very nice and helpful.

Before going there, I read a lot of opinions, and was dissapointed, but when we arrived I like everything. I like the design of the hotel, it's like a military base. But it unexpectedly intresting. Quite clean, big room for Paris, I'll reccomend it to my friends. Specific modern design.

Very much design hotel; atmospheric lobby, polished concrete floors, mood lighting etc. Location was pretty good with many small cafes and bars nearby - a little distance from the sights like the Eiffel Tower but not particularly touristy area more than made up for it. The management were responsive to an issue raised during our stay, and corrected it (NB after considerable discussion - see below). On our initial check in, we were advised that breakfast wasn't included with the rate. As we had been staying in a number of hotels throughout Europe with different conditions we failed to check our Booking.com reservation and took her at her word (note to self). On checkout, and after traipsing around to find breakfast each day, another staff member at reception told us breakfast had indeed been included in our rate. Although he was unable to refund for the difference on checkout he provided details for the manager, who eventually refunded the difference after several email exchanges. She was somewhat apologetic and offered several solutions to remedy the problem, eventually refunding an approximate amount for our meals outside of the hotel. For a stay costing several hundred euros, it is our expectation that small issues would be able to be resolved immediately (or at least quickly) rather than several weeks after the fact.

Quite a good location, Flat tv in the rooms Although the ground floor of the building looks like nice-designed jeans- store (nice), the upper floors are terribly dark, smelly and spooky. Every wall is painted black there, the corridors are tiny and give a you a feeling of being in David Lynch's movie - but not in the cool way, but in a depressive way. First room we saw was extremaly small, the noise of running water was coming from the pipies, the air-condiioner was leaking...terrible. We asked for another room. The stuff, which was really kind, showed us the second room, a little bit bigger, so we took it. Nevertheless we didnt feel comfortable in such a room. The overall feeling was that the room is never clean. We spent most of the time in the city and we never missed going back to the room.

Stylish environment throughout yet very comfortable. Very helpful staff. Room was very small, which was fine for just the one night but would have been a bit too small for a longer stay. Temperature throughout the hotel was a little too warm for comfort (especially during the night)

The staff was always so willing to help solve any problems with finding taxis or directions to places we wanted to go. The breakfast in the mornings was fabulous! Really got us going for the day - so inclusive of anything people would want, hot and cold items, good coffee and sinful pastries to try and enjoy.... There were markets, cafes and pharmacies close by, when needed and walking in the neighborhood brought all sorts of surprises, with shops and things to see. While the common areas of the hotel are very warm and inviting, the rooms left us a little "cold" as the it was all done in cement!! Maybe even just an area rug would have softened the space a bit and added some warmth to the room. It was clean and pretty well thought out, but just seemed a bit industrial.....

“Taking into account that hotels in France/Paris are quite expensive and the average level is lower than in other countries (e.g. Germany). This hotel is ok. It is at least 3 star hotel, if room were some bigger then I will mark it as a 4 star hotel. Even though hotel is OK, breakfast is ok too (of course it is not like in Germany or CZ)” Nikita, Moscow |
