Very little. One or two design features.

The problem with the hotel is that the design tries to cram too much into too little space. The "Super Luxury" room was about 20 sq. Metres including two wash basins in the room behind the bed head. These were about a foot in diameter. The shower was just over a meter wide. There was no lift. There was one small cupboard that was half a metre deep. The room looked into a dark light well. The price is a total rip off for this claustrophobic experience. The hotel was full so this is a triumph of marketing over common sense and of presentation over content. The hotel deserves to fail because of the pretentiousness of the design concept and the lack of attention to customer requirements. The experience was like a comfortable prison cell. Don't stay here.

The breakfastr, staff, and unique design

What a fantastic boutique hotel. We were warmly received by the staff and the welcome drink went down very well. The room itself was incredible in that it is very well designed in terms of use of space and general styling. The built in iPod dock and heated flooring were definitely a plus! Being meat lovers, the staff also recommended we eat dinner a Cote Cour and we were very impressed. Location wise the hotel cannot be beaten. A few steps from the town center and the magnificent church. We will for sure stay here again on our next trip to Colmar!

Very expensive compared to size of rooms

The hotel is full of imaginative and interesting design features - a boutique hotel. The owners are very hands on and the welcome was outstanding - a free welcome drink in an attractive patio area, valet parking and a detailed explanation of the room's facilities. The facilities in the room are of high quality - E.G. the shower, the towels, the television, the it connections. There are original works of art throughout the hotel. It is very near to all the main attractions of Colmar. Overall it was an interesting experience.

The room was small and cramped. Although the way the room had been designed to fit in all the features was ingenious, it was awkward to move around the room and there was very little space to put toiletries and other possessions. Although the quality of the facilities was high, we still thought the prices were rather steep, both for the room and for breakfast and parking.

The location is great, the parking service is very good, and the recepetion employees are very effecient.

The rooms in the hotel are very small. We made a reservation for three adults ( double and an extra bed) and the room had no space for an extra bed nor privacy to hold three people. The shower and the bathtub, for example, are open. We were force to pay extra and rent another single room which was not in our initial budget.
