-Studio didn't match Internet presentation. -Staff didn't clarify when called to verify features of the room.
Great situation. Very easy to check in. Quiet street. Patisserie and small convenience store close, so self catering no problem. Comfortable bed, fridge, small hob, towels replaced daily. Everything we needed in a very compact space.
Needed to keep connecting Wifi. You need to be good friends or close family to make this space work for you!
Very good location and not on busy main road but in the glamorous area of Paris, very close to Metro and bus to GDG. Staff very helpful. Gave us a bolt-hole if the weather was bad but the weather was actually fantastic. Able to have hot drinks/food day or night. Shower was good and plenty of hot water.
It would have been good to have a shelf in the bathroom for wash bags etc.
The price was by far n
This apartment was a couple of minutes from the Louvre - perfect location! Having the kitchenette was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (let us leave our bags there before and after our stay, offered taxis, wake up calls etc). There is a lovely bar / restaurant just downstairs. Fantastic place!
It was a bit noisy outside with the windows open (but then you are in the city centre) and the 2nd bed is on a very small mezzanine that you have to crawl onto. Fine for us, but wouldn't have been suitable for (eg) my parents.
Great location, our young kids loved sharing a room with us (studio apartment with a bed above ours)
I think the room was over-priced, even taking the location into account.
the location is Amazing. the young ladies on the reception were very helpful and professional. the male reception staff do not have clue about any thing.
do not meet the amount of money paid at all. the cleaners are not doing a good job at all. the owner ( old lady) was very un professional and rood. first we were placed in a room that was not serviced or cleaned at all, the floor was very dirty and the bed linens were not even changed.
Apartment was dark, a bit cramped and we felt over priced. The room was really just a bedroom with an atrium. Bathroom was small with a tiny sink. If the booking had been for 4 adults we would have been very cramped.
The location of the hotel is amazing, size of the room is perfect and clean. walking distance from Louver.
Location Room and kitchen gear
no elevators for the location across the street.
The Residence de Lion d'Or is wonderfully located, and the desk staff is very nice and helpful.
The dirty gloomy stairs and a grungy, makeshift room. The kitchenette is a joke. It was so tiny, you could hardly prepare an egg, and there was no sponge or drying cloth to do the dishes. The curtains couldn't be pulled aside, making it impossible to fully open the window. And two lights in our room were broken. My child found broken glass on the bathroom floor. This place really needs a rehaul. As it is, R. de L.D. is way overpriced.
The apartment is in a quiet area. The location was excellent, only 5 minutes walk from the Louvre. We were able to walk to must of the museums we wanted to see. Public transport was available nearby. The staff were lovely, approachable and very helpful.
Can not think of any negative comments !
Location and staffs were very helpful
great place, nice staff and easy access to the Louvre area
Staff was exceptional, very helpful and going above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable.
Plenty of room with small kitchen and all appliances Fabulous location Really good breakfast Helpful staff
Location, good size beds, cleanliness
Only one pillow per person, lack of seating (but that is picky!)
location of the hotel
Location was fantastic. Interior of the room was great, mirror all over the wall makes the room feels bigger.
One part of mirror on the wall was broken - it was more of a concern of safety rather than anything else. No lift.
The area is excellent. Slightly jaded room & facilities that are covered by the super location.
Certainly not the best value for money & facilities are limited to what you have in the room. Local parking is available but fairly expensive (€35 day).
Nothing. Fourth floor without elevator, not even soap...total disaster
Cuarto piso sin ascensor, en el anuncio un sofá cama que no existía, 300 euros la noche y ni una pastilla de jabón, la tv no funcionaba...UN TIMO!
Location was brilliant and staff were very helpful, friendly and great english.
The location was excellent. Close to bus stops, metro, restaurants. Quiet street made it easier to sleep at night.
We rented a nice 2 bedroom 1.5 bath apartment across the street from the hotel. It was a little small but very nice with comfortable beds and nice furnishings and a very well equipped kitchen with washing machine/dryer, refrigerator, stove, oven, coffee maker, microwave and dishwasher. It was up one flight of stairs but not a problem at all. Internet was wired or wifi and quite fast - measured 17 mbps down and 1-2 up. The staff were very nice and helpful and the location was great, just 1/2 block to a Carrefour express and 2 blocks to Marche Saint Honore with many bars and cafés and restaurants and then, of course, just 2 blocks to Tulieries and the Louvre.
The bathroom had no window so water never seemed to escape and as result it always smelled bad like must or mould. The toilet was named Herman (seriously!) and was a little strange but worked fine. Otherwise no complaints and all good. I'd stay again if I returned.
