Centrally located in Aix-en-Provence, Hotel Paul is only 490 ft from the Spa, the Palais des Festivals and the historic part of the city. It features grounds with a terrace area.

clean room with lift
a little bit far from bus terminal
quite convenient, next to gas station and convenient store well-equipped kitchen clean bathroom big room
cannot borrow hair dryer, quite strange… close to the rail, a bit noisy but not big issue for us
Free Private parking. At a walking distance to the centre of Aix. Friendly staff.
Very basic room and facilities, but clean.
The balcony The view The kitchen The bathroom Free parking
A bit too far from the city centre
room is very big and bright and also with free parking, so it's good for people who come with a car
about 15 mins walk from city centre
Close to town, pratical, perfect
Rather noisy because of trains particularly in the night
Budget-friendly, great location for my purposes (which was to go the Archives d'Outre-Mer just down the street), about 15 minutes away from the town center, small supermarket located right next to hotel, my studio came equipped with utensils, plates, cutlery, so I could make my own meals, great wifi access.
No common space beyond the small patio in front. Would have been nice to have a lounge with a tv for guests to socialize.
Did not feel safe secure
We have stayed in five different hotels in Aix before and this was one of the best rooms we have had and certainly the best for the price. We stayed for 11 nights to visit the music festival, and found it clean and the staff very helpful. We had a spacious room on the third floor with a balcony and a kitchen . Although it was hot weather we were able to keep the room reasonably comfortable by lowering the canopy over the balcony and keeping the blind down on the large window during the hottest part of the day. We were also provided with a very efficient fan. The hotel is situated about 15 to 20 minutes gentle walk from the historic centre.
Some reviewers have complained about noise from the nearby railway. For us the romantic rumble of arriving trains and the soothing swish of the passing traffic was largely drowned out by the chatter of the two American girls in the room next door! Seriously, if you look up the location on Google maps and street view before booking you will see that it is wedged between a railway line and a road. In a city there is bound to be some noise, if this is a problem there is another apart-hotel in a quiet street nearby, but you will pay a lot more for it. In the end the 'noise issue' was not very great: the trains were only a few and the traffic noise was not excessive and only in the early morning and evening. We would not let it put us off from returning to this hotel. The walk to the centre is slightly uphill, which my wife found a bit difficult as she is short of breath; but by taking it gently she made it every day.
Most of the staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and able to manage in English. Kitchenette was functional. Downstairs convenience store was well-stocked and reasonably priced.
Room was often hot (no ac), especially during the day. Continental breakfast option was ridiculously expensive. Location somewhat far for walking back from a lot of the arts venues and historic areas.
Good location, the studio is spacious, has everything needed, just what we want.
Compared to other hotels in Aix, le Moulin was very budget-friendly and had good access to the center of Aix.
The room didn't have much facility and the hotel service was poor (no bed making every day, no safety box etc.)
The room was Big and Clean and the Staff helpful. 15 minutes walk from the City Centre
The room is spacious and the staffs are friendly.
Nothing that comes up.
