It is near to metro station. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Pernety st.
It was so expensive for its conditions . The room smelt bad and it was so cold inside during my stay .
Low Cost, near to Metro Station, at zone 1 " near to most of touristic places", many shopes and resturants nearby it.Actually it's a good place for friends or for family that came for tourism as this a place to sleep and keep your baggages but will not be comfort for honeymoon.
There was no care service, the reception was not available all the time, i was at room 17 and the stairs smell was so bad and the man at the reception can't speak in english.
*I like the set-up that there are appliances inside the room. I enjoyed cooking my food which was a big savings. *Its clean. *Though the person at the reception could not speak English, but he tried to understand what I was trying to say. Bless him. *For a Filipino like me, it was nice to see a Filipino staff. He sort acted as an interpreter.
I have to carry my heavy luggage to the 2nd floor. :-(
Giles at reception was fabulous if you can speak French. He always acted on our requests and was extremely helpful. However, I can understand other people's frustration if you cannot communicate. But you're in France, make an effort. The location was great and so close to the metro, boulangerie, charcuterie, and so many restaurants and a fabulous sheesha shop just a 10 minute walk. The arrondissement is also a very safe one.
The wifi service was temperamental
A cozy clean room, comf bed with high ceilings and windows and kitchenette to store or cook your " goodies" from local bakeries and mega grocerys 1 to 5 min walk away. Two mins to Metro and a good neighborhood with self laundromats nearby. Will stay here again and hopefully soon. The manager spoke fluent English and values his Guests!
facilities of cooking the balcon the decoration size of the room as well
the cutlary in the room was dirty it's better to check it after guests leaving ther rooms
I reall loved the location. The room was excellent for the price and nothing was like I did not expect for that.
Only one block from the metro, several restaurants in one block around the hotel, across from a little store, breakfast places next to metro, decent wifi downstairs. Thought I was only getting a single bed room but I had a kitchenette and my own bathroom. And a small tv.
Noisier than expected because needed to leave windows open for cooling. Old place, so flooring buckled up throughout, smells from previous tenants and nearby restaurants, tight steep staircase up 89 stairs. No help or personnel available in evenings or nights or weekends.
Location - Montparnasse still has the old parisienne charm
No 24-hour reception
i liked the facilities in the room. we had a microwave, dishes, fridge.. so.. no need to buy breakfast. you can easily make it yourself! Good location, 200 m from metro station, cafes, shops.. Free wifi (good signal only downstairs). Parking!
could be more clean in the room. The man at the front desk didn't speak English....
The location is exellent. Pernety metro station is just a few meters away. The internet in my room was working perfectly.
The room looked a bit old and dirty.
No WiFi working.
everything was more than oke for the low price
Wifi didn't work
excellent location, value for money
poor service. Office mgr. only speaks French, available only for a few hours. Asked me to move my bed from one room to another!
close to Metro station, can walk from Montparnasse airport bus stop as well
the stuff is very kind, but can't speak English wifi is really weak
1 min to Metro station Pernety, lots of cafes, supermarkets, small restaurants around. The apartment type hotel is not a 'hotel' to me, you are being checked in and given your keys, but that's about it. The room is very basic and if you have noisy neighbors then you will hear them next door. That being said, if you are out seeing Paris and just sleep here, want to spend your money on other things, are not too picky, this is well worth staying and safe money. Get fresh baguette in the morning from around the corner and enjoy breakfast in your room. Stock up fridge with the basics and you are good to go;)
The residence is very lose to the Penetry metro station.
The location is very close to Pernety Metro with good access to the city. Velib bike station is nearby too for the more adventurous. Verandah onto the street let me soak up the atmosphere. I arrived late so asked if the door code could be sent in advance and the room key left in the studio. It was, worked very well. People were responsive to my needs.
Very little. The room was basic, but then so was the price, just that another towel would have helped. Wifi is patchy and only useful in the guest coffee room.
Value for money and well equipped. Thanks
Excellent value for money and studio was more than adequate. Owners were incredibly helpful and kind. Was given a free adapter for my phone so I could charge it. Continental breakfast at 5 euros was very good and it was pleasant eating in the courtyard. Beautiful old building from early 1900s. Metro close by. Plenty of street parking nearby. Recommended for the discerning traveller who appreciates the French culture.
Only stayed for one night. Wish it was more!
The location is perfect, very near the metro station. The neighborhood is also very nice, quiet and clean, there are a lot of local food shops, bakeries, restaurants. The place is clean but as it is shabby and old it doesn't look very nice at first glance.
The old man that was at the reception does not speak any English. I spoke on the phone with another guy that speaks good English though. If you are arriving after 20:00 call them up to arrange for them to be there or better ask them to give you the code for the door and leave the room open for you with the key inside. The wireless works ok only in the lounge room next to the reception.
I enjoyed the location very much, the neighbourhood is lovely!
WiFi connection in the rooms were really bad. Members of staff were no where to be found when needed.
The rooms are not comfortable.
Kitchen availability to cook
There was some renovation work next to the room so it was very noisy. Impossible to take a nap during the afternoon because of that. We were also next to a door that people kept passing, of course that door was banging very strongly each time ... We went out during the evening and found the door completely closed - small note next to it : opening hours 17h-22h and no way to contact anyone. We were lucky as a girl passing by in the street knew the access code so we could enter ... Other than that, the equipment is really old and not really clean. In one word : Avoid it if you can
Very near to the Metro station. There's kitchen in the room.
No lift. Heater not working! When I asked the old man who was manning the reception, he couldn't speak a word of English, and ended up saying to me "C'est automatique", meaning there was nothing he could do about it! He just handed the blanket in the closet to me. Booking.com should state clearly where is the nearest Metro station and the walking direction, in the booking page, so it's easy to find.
