Very clean, well maintained. Would stay again if I was to go skiing in Avoriaz.
On booking I made the mistake of being misled by 2 rooms. I was expecting 2 bedrooms but got a 1 bedroom with sofa bed. Advertised as 1 €50 leisure pass per person per stay, got to resort and informed this was changed the alternative was no where near this value.
End of April so ski in and out was marginal but one can see that for 99% of the season it is great. Apartment did sleep 7 - 1 double, 1 twin - rest in sofa beds in kitchen/living area - fine as we have 4 kids - two under ten. Kitchen facilities good - dishwasher, hob, microwave. Bathrooms high quality (one bath and stand in bath shower, one en-suite large shower). Separate toilet. Balcony with great view and suntrap. Lifts up to floors (in case you wondered)
No Ski Hire facilities on site contrary to what is advertised! I was going to book online separately but when saw they had on site thought better of it for convenience but no, we had to go into village to hire and cost us nearly double compared to online! So book online and fit/collect in village. No oven, no washing machine (launderettes in village but escalators to/from village are up only (stairs down) and not all working - only 5 minutes but still too far to walk washing down/carry up ... could do with communal launderette in appartments. Appartments are in three blocks - reception is only in one block. Reception not open enough - had to lose ski time to pay local taxes and sort out luggage hold when leaving. No help to get luggage from our block to luggage room in main block (uphill in snow - only 50 metres but no fun). On arrival only sleighs available to take us 5 mins to block - 12.50 Euros each (we needed two for 6 of us plus luggage)! On way back we were told we could get a snowtruck - reception would order 10 mins before needed (cost 10 euros for 5 person) but when I went to order we were then told there might only be sleighs again ... luckily we did get a snowtruck. Staff laughed when I asked about gym etc. I never went to look but was told it was very small, 3 machines, haman, sauna and at 5 euros for the hour was put off even looking.Ski locker room had little space but luckily did not cause a problem for us ... must be mad in busier season? Lockers tight for 6 but good size for smaller parties. No sense of Pierre & Vacances assisting with your holiday - should have more given that almost all residences are P&V.
Great location - easy to reach the main shopping, restaurants and bar area and very convenient for the esf school and all ski lifts. Very nice apartment (one bedroom) - good size for two people, would be far too small for 4/5. Convenient ski lockers.
Great location just across the road from the escalators and stairs down to the Main Street less than 5 mins away. Ski in ski out despite high summer temperatures at the beginning of April. Good facilities in the apartment & we would book again. Shared 2 families in a 7 person apartment which was fine even though the kids were teens.
2 loos would've made things even better, but the loo was separate & there were 2 bathrooms so showering was fine & it wasn't a major issue.
Location, aspect, room size, cleanliness, facilities. Best ski/board storage set up I've seen.
Perhaps a little more understanding of English at front desk.
We liked the accommodation as its was clean and located quite centrally. It was very useful to have a pack of washing up items and tea towel as I always forget these. The bakery service was very good and the staff on the reception were very friendly and helpful. It was also really nice to be able to leave our bags and ski on the last day and have a shower before our departure. I would book again.
We didn't like the fact that we were not in the main building ( Atria ) as we then had to take all our bags and skis down to the next building with no help. It also meant that we had to get outdoor clothes on in the morning to go and collect the croissants. When I booked there was no mention of 3 buildings and if my children had been younger it would have been more of a nuisance. You need to make this clear at booking.
great apartment for the price, very well kitted out, nice facilities and friendly staff - nothing to dislike, will book again!
Newly refurbished, plenty of storage and good a situation right on the slopes.
More a walk from the shops than other locations but the covered escalators on the way he make up for that.
Clean, well furnished, good location and very friendly staff
The beds are not comfortable
The apartments were fantastic and the location was very convenient. The lockers in the boot room were really useful.
The pillows in the apartments were not great and the mattresses were incredibly hard.
Location and easy access to everything. Bakery pick up service.
Great apartment but sofas a little uncomfortable as seat cushions kept slipping off, not a big issue as we were not there that much.
Location good, nice to have sauna and hamman in the building. Wifi in the hotelrather cheap.
The appartment for 5-6 persons not that big ,no problem if you are less than 4 when there are 1 big bed and one bedcouch.
spacious apartment, excellent storage facilities, lovely views and overall a great location
the dishwasher in our room was not working for the full duration. the beds are very hard and quite uncomfortable and it is difficult to regulate the temperature in the room (too hot). we would have liked to book a late check out which was not possible.
The contemporary decor, the balcony and view, the space (apt 309) the water pressure and quantity, the heated boot room
The firm mattress, having to make up beds, the sofa base cushions moving, lack of toaster, narrow bath, tiny bath towels, the cramped boot room, the lack of bar/food availability in residence, lack of reliability of escalators
The generous room sizes, the modern feel, two separate bathrooms and the wonderful views from the balcony.
The double bedroom was very small and there was limited storage space.
Corner apartment had a huge living area which was great for entertaining the other families we were travelling with (16 of us in all). Attractive decor.
Bedrooms were small but fine for sleeping quarters. There could have done with more hanging space and this would have been an issue if more than 4 had been staying in the 2 bed apartment.
The modernity of the room compared to the pure 70s look of most of Avoriaz's appartments. The small but practical ski room. The location is great (wenn the automated stairs work).
Fresh bread is not delivered to the room. I ranked cleanliness as good but some cupboards where dusty.
Good location and clean rooms. Frıendly stuff
Ski in - Ski out.
Cleaning services at check-out not included.
proximity to slopes
Large portion of bed broken and hanging off. Heating uncontrollable meaning everyone woke up in the night
Really was ski in ski out. Great drying room for all our ski gear. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty sleeping space.
Only one bin bag provided for 5 nights. Reception would not give us any more when asked. Very poor attitude on this.
stayed in 6-7 people apartment, the size is perfect for 5 people, nice decor in the rooms. Took the Duplex for an extra 50 euros, ( well worth it). Ski in out access is very helpful. A well recommended nice clean place to stay in Avoriaz.
Kitchen is not the biggest
Excellent location! Great sauna and Turkish bath! Sufficient space in apartment; clean, dry rooms;
Wifi connection is very poor... (And costed 20 euro!)
