We are in the center of the city of Tours, and our lobby area opens onto the loveliest shady avenue in town, close to the most popular shops and restaurants.

Score from 592 reviews Very good
The staff. Breakfast was good plenty of variety.
Disabled shower was dangerous and the wet room was flooded after ordinary shower, very slippery
The receptionist cum general manager and do everything girl was excellent. She helped call a taxi for us as my wife wasn't up to the 25 min walk into town for dinner.
Small room, the expedition like hike up four flights of stairs (no lift!) make it impractical for anybody less that fit so elderly or disabled guests need apply! Location. Not really the hotels fault but it's a 25-30 min walk into town.
The staff and location and that we could be flexible and come and go as we pleased. There was always someone on hand to help but didn't feel that we werer being watched over.
The security, as when going out we were encouraged to leave our room key on a rack which was open to other guests and potentially members of the general public
We booked their triple room with bath, and it was luxuriously huge, even by American standards. The staff are very accommodating, especially to our baby needs. Some highlights of their family-friendliness: they provide a high-chair for the little one at breakfast (though there is only one to go around); there is a little play area in the lobby with children's books and some toys. For those with needs to a grocery store (for example, baby diapers and milk), right around the corner is a Simply Market (a full-sized supermarket). While we didn't take it, the bus stop in front of the hotel is connected to the FilBleu line 5 that goes to the St-Pierre-des-Corps train station. For those arriving by public transit that can be a better option than coming in all the way to Tours. The hotel is also quite close by foot to the old town region, where there are plenty of good dining options.
Nothing at all.
Very friendly welcome, characterful and comfortable, good breakfast, good value.
little toys for children
stay too short
Friendly staff and beautiful building
The entrance to the hotel and lobby was charming, with a family atmosphere and cute litttle ``frog`` by the door. Welcoming and quirky! My room was in the modern annex and most charming :-)
Bags could not be dropped off earlier than check in which is not very convenient for a traveller who arrives early.
No air conditioning Website states hotel in centre of town, it is a 20 mins walk to the centre Chipped toilet seat, a health hazard(have photo) Hotel situated on a junction, cannot have windows open, traffic noise, difficult to sleep
Location is very good.
Value for money and just outside centre of old district
Parking was in an open-air free public car-park. Its a worry if you have to leave stuff in the car. No lifts so difficult if you have too much luggage.
Staff very friendly - room exceptionally clean lovely bathroom. Good parking.
Wardrobe had to be held closed by a chair (lock broken). Fair distance to walk to town centre. Breakfast adequate(continental) but maybe a bit on the expensive side.
The friendly staff Classic building, reworkings are very neatly done.
Good basic hotel for the price. Clean, great location, very helpful staff
No tea or coffee making in the room but a very small point
Friendly staff Relaxed atmosphere
Free parking outside. Hotel has more character than modern establishments.
Very hot in bedroom - no ac.
I got good experiences on the receiption supporting me. Original, I got some worries on my car rental. I do not know French language. The receiption Vahatr gave me a hand and let me have a good image in Tours trip. Thanks.
Bathroom Friendly staff
Lack of heating/cooling Small room Closed during 12 til 3pm so we had to wait ages to check in Exterior repaint would be good Hanging keys to rooms on staircase for anyone to access didnt seem a secure method
We were on the ground floor with a window onto the street, therefore difficult to leave open at night so the room desperately needed air conditioning. Ther wer no bedside tables or draws and no tea or coffee making facilities in the room
Welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast.
Very hot room on the ground floor which meant we could not open the window. The shower rail was hanging off the wall in the bathroom. No parking despite being advertised with parking.
Helpful staff. Cosy room with good sized ensuite.
Good breakfast, but should maybe think of offering a hot choice, even just scrambled egg.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We the wifi worked well.
The location was a little bit off the beaten path, but not a problem as we could walk to the heart of the city with relative ease.
Nice reception. The Bus No.5 in front of the hotel (stop Rabelais) can take you to the city center and the train station in 10 minutes.
The room on the top floor can be hot in summer without air conditioner. Pay attention to the check-in time because the reception is closed between 13H to 15H.
Pleasant staff, comfortable bed, nice breakfast, hotel reasonably quiet & small. Bathroom clean with good shower.
Television in awkward (high) position. 3 coathangers insufficient for 2 people! Bathroom door squeaks.
