Score from 660 reviews Very good
Bathroom spacious and clean, toiletries very good
View of the inside of the sealing inside the room. Frame was very dusty inside was disgusting Size of cupboard a little to small
Excellent hotel, staff very welcoming, very clean, excellent position
Mosquito problem in the room!
The flexibility of staff to respond to our requests on arrival for a change of room. The relaxing atmosphere throughout the public ares of the hotel. Breakfasts were just just of the highest standard, and so well attended to by staff
Loved the location and the access to a great spa. Also, get a real sense of the original Cannes when wandering up the hill behind the hotel. The rooftop restaurant has a spectacular view and the outside seating bring out the need to bath in the sun….relaxation at its best above the hustle of Cannes
Breakfast: very average products coffee OK. Valet service, while helpful is an additional e35 per day onto the bill. not clear on booking and not offered an alternative. (I paid e28 the previous week in 'Grey D'Albion') I had a lovely room looking over the sea - 4th floor -which was a real visual treat. However, the downside is that it is quite noisy at night and from early morning. My recommendation would be to go for a 'city' view room and use the top floor and spa for views.
Position (best in town); View; Quietness; Bathroom (very large); Bed (very comfortable);
Staff: Air contiditioning broken and it took 2 days to fix it; Shade in the bathroom broken and never fixed; Despite late check-out arranged (14:00) housekeepers entered 3 times without knocking (do not disturb sign on the door) and receptionists keep calling in the room pushing to vacate it. Upon my complaints Manager was not apologetic and very indifferent. Balcony very small cannot define the room "deluxe" as they claim.
The bed was incredible. The spa was incredible. The spa manager went above and beyond having my fiance and I use the facilities for a very short time and they all allowed us to take Champagne to the spa to enjoy in/by the jet pool. Just wonderful. Also the little bath products are lovely. The only thing I would suggest is a larger bath wash - for the baths are great to have once or a couple of times a day and the bath wash is so lovely but we could have used with 2 bottles per day!
The cleaning agent use din the lobby smells a little like a public bathroom. The rest of the hotel is so beautifully scented with aromatherapy perfumes so it would be good to change the cleaning agent/smell.
The staff and spa
The bathroom was unfinished expowing a big void behind the toilet. And the slidin door to bathroom has dust stuck to it. The iron was so rubbish the plate tore my favourite blouse. Not happy.
I loved the top floor restaurant with panoramic views also staff were helpful and we were given a room with a lovely view of the sea
Restaurant is very bad
Services. View on the sea.
A room abit small.
The spa is really nice, a bit busy maybe on a rainy day...
The bar was closed because of the weather
I made a pre booking request that was ignored. The room was only set for one person. The first day the room was not cleaned. Their were two missing lights in the room. I was given the totally wrong TV numbers for use, when I asked why the staff said I had an old card. WHY ?
The service was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. For all age groups I think the hotel is perfect.
Kind and helpful staff. Great room. Nice location. Sky bar is great start of the Evening or close of the day
Room quite small but everything in it from TV, dresing gown and slippers to sewing kit. We were at the back so quite quiet but still with sea view. Quite a good location near restaurants and beaches but a bit of a walk to the town centre.
The mattress had a plastic cover on it which does not breathe and so makes you very hot. Had to remove this. The pool is Ok but the lounging area very small and cramped and not too much shade but same price as top beaches
Mercibeaucoup pour votre aide Rachel !!!
I was angry, because Russian traslator in reception was not competent: documents(hotel),didn't take part computer, rude!!!
Good location, great restaurant, the suite has great storage space and the view is stunning
The information about the hôtel is not readily available.. It felt like a business hôtel ..a bit cold
I liked the location, roof terrace and a spa.
I did not liked the broken shower in the bathroom. It was the same in my friends room.
The Spa and the location
Reception staff and staff in party mode at midnight second floor with colleagues checking to room very close to ours 226
Very small rooms and very noisy.
Perfect staff at the reception Upgrade and welcome Card & Drink Amazing rooftop view Located next to the sea and harbour Very big and comfortable bed Nice bathroom
Cocktails at the rooftop Bar are rather simple, Could be improved by a skilled barkeeper No Pool if you do Not Pay the spa extra Charge
The location is very good and the roof bar has the best view, we have been given a very ugly and uncomfortable room and fortunately we have been allowed to change it for a more decent one(thank you to the lady at the reception, very nice)
Although I have sent request that this was our 7th anniversary, room was not ready at 3PM and we had to wait 1 hour more(they gave us some vouchers for cocktails on the terrace), first room given was horrible, we had to complaint to have a decent one, they wanted 25 Euros to use swimming pool
Room size and doors of the bathroom
location, wi-fi, roof top bar
we booked a double room with city view we were given a very small room with 2 single beds pushed together (room 341) avoid it at all costs. the balcony is a joke you have to climb on the bed and jump out but there was no table and chairs, the housekeeping storeroom was opposite ours and constant talking and banging went on all day no chance of an afternoon nap! the pool is 25 euros to have a dip and beer and breakfast was expensive which we were aware of being to the cote d'azur before .
