Radisson Blu Hotel Marseille Vieux Port    

Our daughter who lives in Toulouse wanted to visit us for a night. We asked for an extra bed for her. That's was no problem and did not cost much. We had a nice room with a view on the port and the old fortress. Very nice staff.

Very good value for money. Friendly and competent staff. Confortable room with all amenities needed. Top Location.

1. Equipment in gym is outdated, in small quantity 2. Swimming pool is too small and no space for children. It is in an area where the entire neighbourhood can see. 3. the minibar is way too expensive (nearly 10 USD for a small bottle of water) 4. Housekeeping lacks discretion. I've been called at 10 am to ask when I would leave my room for housekeeping.

It was OK, hotel in front of the old port which was a very good location

Our daughter who lives in Aix decided to join us so we asked if it was possible to have an extra bed. This was no problem at all and the hotel staff also included a breakfast for her for a small fee. Excellent service! The room was nice with a view on the old port and was spacious. Breakfast was excellent, many chefs overcook scrambled egg, but the Radisson chef obviously knows what (s)he.is doing. Very good!

Having had to insist to get the superior room with a view which I had booked beforehand.

The carpets are a bit grubby. They feel dirty. The furniture(couch/upholstered chairs feel old/a bit dirty).

Good location in the old port but there is lot's of restoration work going on and the sidewalks are limited.

Not enough toilletries in the room, had to ask for additional ones.

Very nice hotel. Excellent helpful staff, especially cleaning staff, reception and concierge, Breakfast is really nice. Comfortable rooms and beds. The location in the marina, can't be better. A lot of nice restaurants and bars at walking distance.

my wife and i had a most relaxing break at this hotel. The decor is very good whilst the standard of the rooms is excellent. The staff are most helpful and the management do not compromise standards in any way.We would have no hesitation of recommending this group of hotels to our friends.

The breakfast is very overprices. The food is good as is the service but we observed a number of guests having breakfast in nearby establishments.

I liked the location, at the end of the east side of the docks. Unlike other reviewers, I found the area to be clean and safe, it's right in on the old port in old Marseille. If you get nervous walking on the same sidewalk as an arab then Marseilles might not be the right city for you to visit, I found everyone to be very nice and felt safe at all time. The concierge was very helpful, by far the best help I've had in my european vacation.

I got an outrageous bill for a five minute long distance call that would have costed me 20 cents on skype. The restaurant and minibars prices were very high, and the portion size small.

The room was very good, clean, spacious and up to 4 star standard. The location was good although the re-working of the port was not welcome and made getting to and from the hotel very slow. The concierge was professional

The rest of the staff left a lot to be desired. The breakfast service was totally chaotic, the buffet was not replenished fast enough to cope with the number of guests. We had to wait over 5 minutes for the hot items to be available and tables were not cleared quick enough. There was also very slow service in the lobby bar; the bar tender was more interested in speaking with friends than serving us, and continued to do so even when he did eventually ask us what we wanted. We wanted to have a drink late one evening in the Solaris bar and ordered two Jack Daniels. The waiter brought the drinks to the table and left but failed to mention he had brought a cheap whiskey and not what we had ordered and paid for. When we asked him about this he explained they had run out of Jack Daniels, and even though I let them know there was a bottle in the lobby bar, they refused to serve it. So we asked for a refund which took forever and the waiter who arranged the refund, Leon, was nothing less than ignorant. This is totally unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The checkout process took over 10 minutes as there were not enough staff on duty. I would not stay here again, am very disappointed overall and certainly didn’t get value for money. A very expensive mistake.

I was upgrade to the business room with port view. The view is fantastic and the room is large and very clean. The beds is very comfort and the service is great. The breakfast is great but it cost 22 per person.

location is great but it takes you about 10 minutes to metro station and the boat station where you can take boats to Chateau D'if and 20 minutes to Calanques.
