The hotel room was nice but not when you consider the price that you pay. They had wonderful facilities such as rooftop pool, rooftop bar and a private pool...the only thing is that they don't tell you before you book that all these things will cost extra to utilise. We had an average meal on the rooftop that cost 112 euros. The staff we friendly but the processes at the hotel are shocking. You are treated like a cash cow and everything you do at this hotel costs extra! To use the pool you had to pay an extra 18 euros per day! To park your car is 25 e per day! To access the beach is an extra 15 e per day. It was not a pleasant experience to be treated this way after you have already paid so much for your room. I would never recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel.

Clean and Quiet. My room was upgraded to Junior Suit then I am informed that breakfast is included my rate.Much regret to see that breakfast fee is added to the invoice. That's is not fair.

I loved my room, especially the view. The staff was courteous and helpful. The concierge recommended some excellent day trips, which I enjoyed. The Rooftop Terrace lounge and restaurant were terrific and the view was stunning. I also enjoyed having the shuttle service to and from the city. I thought that the breakfast was a bit overpriced. The food was good but the eggs were cold on a few occasions. The service was terrific though.

Good Breakfast, great pool and panaromic restaurant, gym and sauna. Extortionate prices, Beware! - Sun loungers cost 18e a day!! - family of four for a week that is an extra 500Euros! Also the poolside bar was a complete rip-off, 15 euros for a small limp salad, 9 Euros for a 750 ml bottle of water almost the same for a can of coke - greedy and unfortunately means I could not recommend.

The staff were very friendly. The view from the balcony is amazing. Its great to sit out on the balcony in the evenings. The breakfast was also very good. It is ridiculous that you have to pay to use the sunbeds by the pool. The pool is completely surrounded with sunbeds, so the hotel should rather say the usage of the pool is not free! Also they charge in an inflexible way for renting a bicycle - for a few hours, you can rent for much cheaper down on the promenade.

Best part of the Radisson Blu, nice was the roof bar, restaurant and swimming pool (on the 8th floor). Excellent food & drink and great views over the Bay des Anges towards Nice city centre. The location is not good. Although it's on the Promenade des Anglais, it's up to an hour's walk back from the old town. Stupidly (considering the number of visitors) the buses stop around 9pm and it's not always easy to get a taxi (when it's raining or very busy). A taxi back will cost around 18 euros whereas the bus is 1 euro. The hotel should counter this problem but haven't. They run a shuttle bus during the day but surely it's not beyond the wit of man to organise an hourly run in the evening - especially considering the size of the hotel? For this reason I would recommend staying nearer the city centre.

Excellent location and room amenities. Good service and sea views. Private beach is a plus. Decoration and furniture is beginning to look a little tired and shabby. Hotel restaurant food was expensive and of average quality. The additional cost to use the poolside sun loungers is a bit of a cheek (but probably the norm!)

Marvelous view 1) directly looking over the street, a little noisy 2) far from city center, walking will take you 40-50 minutes and taxis are not always available, especially after 21:00, and be careful, some of the taxi drivers will cheat you by pushing the keys on the meter and increasing the rent!

We had booked a double deluxe room with a sea view. On arrival at approx 3.30pm we were first offered a garden view room, We showed our booking confirmation printout and were then given a room which we were told had a sea view. We duely went up to the room and it was a room with a partial sea view, ie garden view also. We then had to telephone downstairs to register our complaint and had to wait another half an hour before we were offered what we had booked. a sea view. There was no apology or no effort made to try and make up for the hotel's error. We only had two nights holiday and this wasted too much time and annoyed us.

The Radisson hotel is a well placed hotel about 4kms from Nice. The reception staff were very good and one minor problem was dealt with quickly with no fuss. The view from the top of the hotel is great. The staff in the bars were good in carrying out their duties. The staff employed for providing information were very reluctant to do their job as one would expect.

+ Location + in general typical Radisson SAS hotel (-) overall reception staff could’ve been more helpful. When checked out, the reception person tried to charge higher room rate than were in the reservation. After original bookings were found - no apology whatsoever.

Only Nicolas from the concierge staff was very helpful... The tensing conceirge staff especially Mark very unfriendly. The reception staff was not that good either. Bell boys were nice though! Unfriendly staff. The so called "private" beach restaurant of the hotel was full of local hooligans... I don't know who allowed them entry inside!

Responsive crew, perfect location, incredible restaurant. I highly recommend to visit the Blu citrone restaurant for a nice and romantic dinner in the hotel. Room service is also good. Room is a bit small, and there's just one wardrobe, no dressers. But the view is breathtaking. Cleanliness is O.K. Parking is difficult and expensive. The airport is close to the hotel, but there are no sensible noises thanks to the windows.

We were upgraded to business class on my birthday. The room was very comfortable with a really nice view. The staff, especially the Reservation Manager, were very friendly, professional & helpful. The interior design of the room was nice but too modern, & for a longer stay it might "wear" on one. The balcony & its view more than compensated for this one "inconvenience."

Location and helpfulness of the staff at the front desk The porters at the front door seem to be not so helpful based on the car value you may be driving. Some people rent vechicles to enable them to tour the country side. The make of the vechile does not necessarily mean they do not have money to spend and deserve the respect of the staff.
