Radisson Blu Hôtel Nice

Hieno merinäköala ja rantabulevardi, taxeja aina hotellin oven edessä, hotellin kattoterassi loistava paikka ja auki jo heti aamusta. Hotellin respan henkilökunta ystävällistä ja auttavaista.

Rantabulevardin liikenteen aiheuttama meteli, jos ovi oli auki. Oven kiinni ollessa melua ei kylläkään kuulunu lainkaan. Aamupala turhan kallis, jos ei ole tottunut syömään aamulla muuta kuin vähän mehua, kahvia ja sämpylää.

Erittäin tilava huone, kauniit maisemat. Kattoterassi oli mahtava, näkymät illallisella rantakadun ylle. Kattoterassin uima-allas oli ihana, mutta aurinkotuoli maksoi 18e/päivä, 15e/puoli päivää. Aamupala oli loistava, se maksoi 22e/hlö, mutta hinnalle sai vastinetta. Hotellin edessä oli maksullinen ranta, jossa palveluita, sekä ilmaista rantaa. Keskustaan oli useampi kilometri, mutta hotellilta kulki ilmainen shuttle-bussi 6 kertaa päivässä edes-takaisin. Lentokentälle oli lyhyt matka, taksikyyti maksoi 15e/suunta. Kaikin puolin olimme tosi tyytyväisiä hotelliin. Sijainnin puolesta tosin seuraavalla kerralla valitsemme todennäköisesti hotellin lähempää keskustaa.

Sijainti

Hotelli täytti hyvin perheemme tarpeet kolmen yön yhdistettyä ranta- ja kaupunkilomaa varten. Ilmastointi oli tehokas ja äänieristys hyvä. Käytimme huonepalvelua, jossa annokset olivat ok, mutta hinnat korkeat. Uima-allasosasto oli tyylikäs, kuljetukset keskustaan olivat hyvä lisä palveluun.

Ruokien hinnat, pyyhevuokrat ym. olivat turhan korkeat. Aamiaisella oli kovin ruuhkaisaa, mutta pöydistä löytyi kyllä monenmoista herkkua.

It is a very comfortable modern hotel with good facilities and generally helpful staff.

I was unhappy at being asked to settle the bill every three/four days when we were there for two weeks. It gave an appearance of a lack of trust. Since they had an imprint of a platinum American Express card it seemed unnecessary.

when we arrived at the hotel, had 3 candy on the bed which cost 32 euros, we thought it was a courtesy, could not put on the bed. make the guests think it is free and then charge the absurd crap, this hotel charges things that do not have much value, for 8 euro for one candy wich could put things much better for the guests to eat. and follow the restaurant took a long time to be served. i mad phone call one time, for 3 minutes bill cost 30 euros, I saw 4.50 minutes cost the list of prices in the quarter, so I should have paid at most 15.00 euros, this hotel is overcharge, if not becafull you endup pay a lot money for nothing, i dont mind spend money, when there is value for it.

We loved the design of the hotel especially the pool / bar area, the access to the beach, the friendlieness of the staff and how we were treated on arrival even though we were early for check in. The staff made us a priority for preparing our room.

Enjoyed comfortable spacious room, extra large bed, clean bathroom with daily cleaner. Roof top pool and terrace was stunning, excellent service by staff. Useful courtesy use of the spa shower etc on day of leaving when we had a late flight.

Excessive charge of sunbed hire by pool and beach, also prohibited from eating and drinking your own food, had to use pool or beach restaurant which was unfair as you were forced to pay excessive daily amounts on simple essentials.

Bright, well-designed hotel, in good position on Promenade des Anglais with great views of the sea. Pool and sunbathing area on roof is very good, as is access to a private beach. Effective air conditioning throughout and good sound insulation from the very busy road.

The location is a significant distance from the centre of Nice and although there is a free shuttle bus, it doesn't run frequently enough. The cost of extra services at the hotel is extremely high - €22 per person for breakfast, €18 per person per day to use sun loungers and towels at the pool on the roof or on the private beach.
