Radisson SAS Hôtel Nice

Luftkonditioneringen i rummet var utmärkt. Fin havsutsikt.

Maten var mycket dålig - särskilt med tanke på priset. Allt på hotellet (ex. gym och solstol) kostade att använda, jag har aldrig varit med om att behöva betala för att använda gymet på något annat hotell. Jag bor ofta på Radisson och det här hotellet var i särklass det sämsta.

Priserna, allt kostade extra och kostade mycket, ex 22 euro per person för frukost - rekordyrt - med den var goood! :-) Hade tänkt tvätta lite kläder men då hade reskassan tagit slut helt...

I chose the Radisson Nice mainly because it was an ideal location to watch the tour de France pass through before flying out of Nice aiport. I particularly enjoyed the roof top terrace restaurant bar and pool area with a fantastic view over there sea.

On the last night of our stay the hotel experienced a power failure, there was emergency lighting in the corridors but none in the rooms themselves and I found myself packing in the dark with no air conditioning, Up until now all fine as I am not a big complainer, however as the night progressed and morning rolled around the problem had still not been resolved and the guests, at least myself had not been addressed by the staff to apologize for the inconvenience or even acknowledge there was even a problem. My last night in a hot sweaty hotel room was not the best experience...

The hotel was well run ans clean.the room had a balcony with view over the beach.

There was no shuttle bus into the old city as advertised on the web.It started in July,and there were no restaurants nearby,so we spent a lot of time and energy getting from place to place. Also the snack bar closed at 6.30.a coffee shop open later would have been appreciated.

Conicerges were good and helpful. Bellmen were GREAT, not just with bags but with helpful tips about the region. One somewhat snooty male man at the desk, but the women at the reception were nice. Central location. Reasonably priced compared to other Meditteranean beach resort towns. Really nice pool on the roof with a great bar and restaurant. Great views while sipping Mojitos in comfortable style. Great bikes to rent and ride around for orientation right at the hotel. People who work here very good.

Health club is wierd set up. Through factory/warehouse doors, with a special key you pay 12 euros for. If there are multiples of you that like to use a gym for multiple days, dont stay here. It is unreasonably expensive to use the gym, and its not that great of a gym.

The staff was very friendly and helpful (information...) with me and my 6-years-old-niece. The staff even called a shop to make sure that I would find there what I war searching for. It's a big hotel, but you don't feel totally anonymous. I also appreciate the private beach (very good lunch, better than in the hotel) with a lifeguard (cf.

Like (almost) every big hotel, no charm (I prefer small hotels with charm and atmosphere). Quite expensive (meals also), but Nice is expensive!

A bit away from the center. A shuttle would help.
