Handy for city. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Within easy walking distance of Sacré Cœur. Quite exciting place!
Great location, extremely helpful and friendly staff with good English and comfortable bed.
Tiny bathroom was a bit squeeze, and no tea/coffee making in room.
Cosmopolitan area and quiet location. Rooms very clean and well equipped kitchen with fridge containing eggs, butter, milk, tea and coffee provided. Plus oranges and apples. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nearby cafes/bars and mini-supermarkets. Easy to get to Sacre Coeur. 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord and less than 5 mins. from Metro. Highly rexommend and we will return.
Staff, bag storage after checking-out, the view from the balcony, very clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, elevator, close to Sacre Couer, bakeries and cafes in the street...
Small bathroom, a bit far from metro station, not so safe neighborhood at night
The staff were very helpful and we were able to check in early which was great after 28 hours of flying. Many local restaurants within walking distances and the metro was easy to get to. Wonderful stay.
the rooms are clean and the bed is big and good.
Next to a metro but the line is not that safe. Small shower and it’s not easy to sleep in the morning because it’s very noise and you can hear all the movements in the hotel and every time someone uses the lift it rings in the room.
Mmm i didn't like anything.
We were two man and only one bed. We asked for an aditional bed or change it, but they didn't give us a solution.
you get what you pay, clean, wifi, great staff (he tries his best to make our stay as pleasant as possible, although we had a problem for our late check in on arrival). Make sure you arrive by 10 pm otherwise you won't be able to find even an out of hour contact number.
- very poor neighbour with bad smell everywhere. lots of poor and homeless people wandering around
price was decent. bed was comfy. provided wifi and a tv. the staff were welcoming and friendly. loved the area although difficult to ask directions for because hotel montmartre is such a generic name for the area. nice balcony with a view
the shower was very small. reception not open past 10.
The location was perfect, in less than 10 minutes walking we were at the Sacre Coeur cathedral. Close to metro stop. The room was rather small and basic, but for the price one could not ask for more. Lovely view of the Paris rooftops. Very helpful staff.
No breakfast on the premises. However, plenty of food options near by.
the location is just great. many things are in walking distance. the rooms were very clean, the staff very kind and helpful. we had a great balcony with view to the church sacre ceur!
the bathroom is small but for the short stay and spending most of the time strolling around, it was really ok.
Young couple from the UK. We stayed at Hotel Montmartre for 6 nights for my partner's birthday and had an incredible stay. This was our second time at the hotel in a year having returned after enjoying our first trip so much. The hotel happily accommodated our request for the same room we stayed in before. Very helpful and friendly staff, clean and light rooms, excellent location, great value for money if you're on a budget... would highly recommend!
That I could open the window, look over rooftops and see the Sacre Coure Reception staff were friendly and helpful Convenience shops nearby The lift to the 5th floor
No Tea/Coffee making facilities No fridge in room
Staff was exceptional!! Thank you so very much.
A great spot, very near to Sacre Coeur and with an excellent local bar (the Clair de Lune). Also an excellent bakery just a few doors down on Rue Ramey, which is great for early morning takeaway coffee and pastries. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient - Andrea was very welcoming on our arrival. Our room was small but clean and bright. Good value for the area.
No real complaints, but the previous comments about the size of the bathrooms are all true - they are tiny even by Parisian standards, so somebody large would have a real difficulty.
Good location, lots of restaurants close by. Montmartre on your doorstep. Clean and basic rooms.
The location was out of the main area of Montmartre and can be deemed a little dodgy. Plaster coming off the walls, broken iron that melted my top as the thermostat was broken on it. Had no iron in the hotel or ironing board, so at least they were kind enough to get one from their other hotel. No facilities such as a kettle or a hairdryer. Don't expect anything more than a clean, no frills stay. It was just a place for my friend and I to lay our heads.
Public transport close by , local restaurants and supermarket also nearby.
Room quite small and electrical connections for microwave , kettle a bit messy
Liked the location to the sacred coeur and monmatre district. Room size OK. Some food provided for breakfast. Tea coffee also. Would use again.
No hotel monmatre sign so kept driving past it. Only one chair. Even though two in room. In warm weather a fan could be provided.
comfortable bed, great atmosphere of the place situated very close to Sacre Coeur, friendly and helpful staff
Near the metro station, not so far from the principal atractions of the city. The staff was very friendly. Lifts available, great cleanliness.
The surrouding area was quite poor on groceries shops, good restaurants and cafés. The room and the bathroom were really small. No fan or air conditioning.
Cheap hotel in Paris with cooking facilities in studio apartment.
Narrow showers with glass door in standard room. Curtains falling off rail (though could be fixed)
Good location. Friendly and helpful receptionist.
The room was really small. And the windows to the busy street. There is no breakfast facility. Hard to park the car if you come on the weekend.
The staff at Hotel Montmarte are terrific. Helpful and patient in answering questions in my very limited french and always ready and willing to answer in english. We were touring art nouveau and art deco buildings and this hotel is well located to see man of them and use the metro nearby. There is a fantastic bakery a few doors down the street and a few little brasserie that were very welcoming and served terrific cafe creme each morning. A few minutes walk and you are on top of the hill at the sacre couer cathedral (go there for the sunset!) but not in the high traffic tourist zone. Very clean and modern but small rooms, elevator with winding staircase for exercise and...plenty of hot water for showers. The higlight was my second time back and opening the drapes of my 5th floor room (502) to see the cupola of sacre couer shining in the night light over the tops of neigbouring buildings. I sat with my vin rouge and marvelled at the view. I'd come back. Try the 12 euro buffet at the brasserie down the street and dinner (32 euro) after 7:30 at Atelier Ramey nearby. A good jumping off point to see the whole city. You are also 12 - 15 minutes walking to the gare du nord train station to travel beyond Paris.
This is not your north american standard hotel so don't expect that. The rooms are small by our standards but clean and well maintained. This part of Paris as you walk toward the metro is a little tired and run down but I always felt safe out walking or going for a beer or wine. Paris is not a cheap city but just accept that for what it is. Cheap food can be found from the marche just down the street and some rooms have small efficiency units. Not much tv en anglais so go out! After all you are in Paris! Or use their really good free wifi service. Taxis are always a little hard to locate anwhere in paris except train stations
Excellent service & rapport with guests..friendly interaction that went beyond necessity..most courteous. A great place to stay in a very well-equipped studio.
There was nothing not to like about this place !
Proximity to sites...staff were most pleasant and obliging. Close to Town and amenities. Montmartre was very dirty on the street.
Noisy kids above us. No supplies ie., lotion,Kleenex, face cloth, plastic glass no water except tap. Broken toilet seat. Old bad water stain at entrance to our room. Not pretty.
