On a side street in Paris’s 18th arrondissement (district), Hipotel Paris Gare du Nord Merryl is just 500 ft from La Chapelle Metro Station. It offers rooms with private bathrooms with elevator...

I was in Paris 4 days with my son. We stayed here and for us it was just perfect. Staff super friendly and our room was super clean. The beds were wonderful. The hotel is just a stair away from Sacre Coeur and 200 meters from metro station. Nice neighborhood with many cafes and small stores.
situated very close to metro station, and to Sacre-Coeur; clean sheets and towels
It is located at a quiet and good neighborough. The room is large and very clean. Internet is fast. Breakfast is good.
It took too long to have warm shower.
Location close to Montmarte.
Our first time there we got a big, nice and clean room with a living room, new sofa, new big bed, etc. Being our second time at Ramey we obviously expected the same but the reality was far from that. While checking in the lady told us she knew we had been there before last year but our surprise was the following. 1/Forth floor with no lift (our first time we got a first or second floor room). 2/Super poor light in a very small room. 3/Small, old and noisy bed. 4/Two light bulbs not working. 5/Shower holder broken. 6/Curtain with hole from cigarrete. 7/Dirty lamps on the nightstands. 8/ Shower fungus. 9/ Watch out when you sit on the WC as it is not well hold. This time it was low season and I am sure they had plenty of availability as they had much lower prices for the very same type of room. They could have done it a lot better.
Price, cleanliness, location, shower and toilet in room.
The hotel was at a really good price for Paris. It is located near the metro and it is fairly clean. I had no problems with noise, even with a room that with window view to street. The breakfast was simple (croissant, orange juice and hot chocollate) but it was good.
Several reviews suggests that it is an "excellent" hotel. We need to be realistic: it is a very simple hotel, but it is what you get for what you pay. Bathroom seemed clean, but it was smelling bad. First time I arrived in the hotel I was somewhat scared for the neighborhood (there were people using drugs on the streets). I would recommend it for travellers in a budget. But take care while walking around.
This hotel is excellent value for money in Montmartre area. It is not easy to find such a good deal in Paris.
I found the room a little cold and was not able to adjust the heating. My room was on the 4th floor and the hotel has no lift.
Great place to eat h the sun set, and a great view from Sacre Coeur. Great resturants near by.
perfect location spacious room great value
The location was very good, close to Sacre Cur and rail stations. Across the road there is an amazing restaurant which is a must.
No lift, which is sometimes normal, so if you would find the stairs difficult, request a room on the lower floors.
Excellent staff. Good and free wi-fi, nice breakfast, excellent location in Montmartre. I got an upgraded double room instead of a single which was nice. I could see tower of Sacre Coeur church from my window.
Room was a little dirty. TV only in French. No elevator. No tea or coffee making facilities. No options to print a boarding-pass for my plane.
location. reception. bed. room. no elevator
I stay in hotels all over the World for a living, some very expensive and not so good and some like the hotel Ramey, not too expensive but excellent. The staff, location and cleanliness were amazing. A small hotel tucked away in an interesting quiet corner of Paris, what more could you need. Highly recommended.
Good value if you just want a comfortable bed for the night
The stairs - no lift!
Very nice and helpful staff; location: close (few minutes walk) to Metro stations; lots of cafés etc. around; Sacre Coeur only a few minutes (but 130+ stairs) away. Furniture in room was old, but in a way very cozy. Comfortable double bed. Rooms are poorly lit only, taking forever for energy-saving lamps to shed some light ... ;-) Bathroom in particular could definitely use renovation, but in turn was kept very clean at all times.
Noise level from traffic, making it hard to get to sleep before well past midnight. Might be somewhat less of a problem on top floors. Yes, there is some smell coming from the bathroom ... Also, you are exposed to noise from your neighbor's bathroom.
Staff were very helpful & flexible with late checkout. Short walk to Sacre-Couer, Montmartre and train stations. Room was clean and quiet.
No lifts, no AC (not needed in late September). Paid less for better rooms elsewhere before....but this was a last minute booking so it was OK.
The fact that it was close to the metro and it was clean. Staff were friendly as well.
Very rough neighbourhood which was intimidating for my girlfriend. We avoided being out at night due to police and reviews online of people getting robbed and tough neighbourhood. The room was a basic room, had to hold the shower hose to shower. We were lucky (as a couple) to get a family room (two rooms!!!) Which made our stay really nice as we could spread out but I'm sure most people don't get that luxury.
- Location - Clean room - Large room - Recommended!
- Recepcionist did not speak english - Breakfast not included - No elevator

In a very very bad area. Like drugess, people were pissing on roads. It looked like a 3rd class country.
Friendly staff, really clean, good location with the view on Sacre Coeur.
You can hear a bit too much people in the other rooms. No lift. If you have heavy luggage might get complicated to carry it up to the 3rd floor in the narrow stairs.
It is an excellent hotel among its category. Remember it is a no star hotel. Much better than many 2 star hotels in Paris. Hotel people are good! Facilities are just sufficient enough. Room was bigger than I expected. My room was cleaned daily.
No elevator for a 5 storey building. I felt the area around the nearest metro stop (chateau rouge) was bit unsafe. But it is good for spending some time arround nearby tourist attractions. A kettle could have been an excellent addition.
The location is perfect - right next to Sacre coer and in an interesting part of Paris
This was our third time there. I offer to everybody. 1 minutes walk from the Sacre Couer. We arrived at 22:00 and we can check in, without any problem.
Everything was perfect.
