The hotel locates in a convinence location, close to hypermarket, train station, which makes easy to take public transportation from cdg airport and Nord Station. However, considering the small room size, and the price close of eur150 per night, it probably better choice in the city.

The friendliness & helpfulness of the front-desk staff - they were great. Our superior double had an extra bed in the anteroom which my daughter used (it was almost like a separate room for her), and the single I moved into when she left was not only much bigger than I expected (big enough for 2) it had a great view of the Eiffel Tower.

Other than the two problems noted, everything was fine.

Wi-fi was not secure. When taxis and RER went on strike, there should have been a notice put up at the front desk warning guests of the pending problem.

I've stayed here 3 times now. The combination of location, value for the money, and helpful staff is hard to beat. A little bit of a hike from the top tourist attractions on the left bank (except for Luxembourg Gardens), but I like to walk so no drawback for me. And it is located in a very convenient neighborhood -- local grocery, laundromat, good restaurants, bakeries, and shops are all very close. Add to that a friendly, helpful staff and I would gladly stay here again

Had not stayed in this location before..we have been in Paris more than a dozen times. We loved having so many choices for restaurants, cafes, bars, etc so close by. Also, since we needed to return to cdg airport, it was an easy 5/10 minute walk to the rer. The staff was helpful..our upgraded room was fantastic. Would definitely stay here on our next visit.

Only negative was the price. We don't spend much time in our room, so it was a bit hard to swallow the $230+ price per night.

Ideally situated for some of the most legendary restaurants and brasseries in Paris. Vavin Metro station across road provides access to rest of city. Bus stop on doorstep for no.68. A hotel with character, warm comfortable with adequate facilities for a short stay. Being located on a busy intersection expect some traffic noise , but this all adds to the Parisian experience.

Nothing of note. Did not have breakfast preferring to eat out at a different place each day.

The recepcionist very helpful, willing to solve the problem.

The entire hotel was all smoking rooms. This was not mentioned in the web page, and should have been. The single room first assigned to me stank and was totally impossible to accept for a normal non-smoker as me. The recepcionist finally offered a larger room, that apparently is used more often by families, and in which people do not smoke so often. I left the window open for 2 hours, then I could sleep.

The location is very close to the Vavin metro. Rooms are clean and comfortable, bathrooms very nice with great hot shower. Staff is friendly and helpful. Free newspapers are available in the lobby.

Furniture in the lounge area is worn. The breakfast at 12e is expensive and served in a windowless basement room. However, breakfast at most hotels is quite high. Fortunately, there are cheaper options for breakfast nearby.

ability to set air cond and have fan on for quick cool downs was great on a hot days we were there. Friendly and helpful staff.

Smelled smoke in our non- smoking room from other rooms on 4th floor for 2 nights in a row. Still very noisy even with thick windows. Also bed was not the most comfy.

We booked 3 rooms : 1 single, 1 comfort double and 1 deluxe double - CLEAN. CLEAN. CLEAN. Room service everyday. No funny smells. - GREAT LOCATION : Not only it is above Vavin metro station, the hotel forgot to mention the 68 bus which is right in front of the door, this line is scenic and goes to : Musee D'Orsay, Louvre, Opera, Rue Haussmann and Up to Place De Clichy. - Polite staff and most are friendly, helpful and speak English - Good surprise (especially for Arab travelers): Bidet in the deluxe room. (so request if you want) - A/C works fine. - WiFi works fine. - Honest people; we had a late flight so when we requested an extra night they checked and when they found it was not booked they let us use it till we left with no charge. - Comfortable Beds. - Close Franprix ( Supermarket cheaper than monoprix and Carrefoure). - Although live area with many restaurants around, not noisy at night. - There's a bus stop for the Orange Line of the L'Open Bus Tour 90 meters from the hotel door. - For nearby shopping : Blvd. Montparnasse (Galleries Lafayette, C&A and Gare Montparnasse shops) plus Rue De Renne is an important long shopping street up to Saint Germain des pres. - The Deluxe was worth the upgrade and it's bigger in everything (advisable for a family with a child). - Extra Blanket in every room. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

    - Rooms are a bit small (especially the single). - Lift (225 Kg). But none was a problem or affected our stay.
