The staff were very helpful. The beds were comfortable. Location was excellent. Recommendations for local restaurants were really helpful. The afternoon tea could have been a little better. No coffee available either. The bathroom was lovely and the bathroom products were good quality, but the shower head needed to be cleaned as the water came out in different directions suggesting some of the water nozzles were blocked with lime scale.

We wanted a stylish discreet boutique hotel in st Germain away from a main road but close to shops restaurants and attractions.it was all of the above . Service was excellent and very friendly. Afternoon tea was a nice touch in a very elegant sitting room. Our room was on the 6th floor at the top with a beautiful view over st Sulpice and out across to the Eiffel tower. The room was beautifully styled and fairly petite but so are most Paris rooms! But plenty big enough for a city break. We would highly recommend hotel recamier and would love to stay there again. We had a perfect mini break.

I loved the whole modern "vibe" of the decor. The rooms were meticulous and the staff was friendly, polite and helpful. I would have liked a somewhat larger bathroom so next time I will request one of the rooms with a tub.

The staff at the hotel was terrific. They were very accommodating and friendly--really made me feel at home. Just couldn't have been nicer. The room was small (which I expected), but clean and very nicely appointed. The free wi-fi was a life-saver since my vacation also included some work. I initially selected the hotel based on the location and photos and it met all of my expectations. I would definitely stay there again.

Re: the Shower. Almost impossible to take a shower without getting water everywhere. The design is nice but doesn't work. This can be alleviated by adding a small shower curtain. I notice due to the condition of the rug and woodwork surrounding the tub that I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. the morning breakfast is a nice way to start the day with croissants, bread, hams , cheeses, yogurts, jams, juices, coffee and tea. Thera is a small, ozy area for. Breakfast and an outdoor seating area as well. The bed was very comfortable, not large, but sufficient in the standard king size bedroom. The hotel is well decorated with many architectural features. It is close to restaurants, shopping, sites, and metro stations.. Very close to St.Michel and St. Germaine.

Tucked away in the corner of the square, Hotel Recamier was a quiet and romantic location from which to explore Paris. The staff were friendly and efficient, the hotel was stylish and immaculate, and the room was not large but it was exceedingly peaceful and comfortable.

Beautifully appointed hotel in a fabulous location. Very close to two Metro stations and two Velib bike stations. Lot's of great shopping and restaurants close by. Afternoon tea was a nice touch and after a big day out and about really boosted the energy levels. Very elegant and clean rooms, with lovely chic bathrooms. Our room looked onto the courtyard and was extremely quiet. Very thick curtains as well for those who hate being woken up as the sun comes up! The room was quite small. No flat surfaces to put bags on so we unpacked all of our things into the wardrobes (not a problem as we do this anyway) but then had trouble storing our suitcases as there was such limited room! Don't get me wrong, the room was beautiful and we loved our stay, just be prepared as they are not big.

The Hotel Recamier is in the best district in all of Paris-- St. Germain des Pres. You definitely want to stay in this area. It is quiet, historical and absolutely beautiful. You will walk out the front door and see the beautiful St. Sulpice Church. Where Victor Hugo was married. Additionally, it is only a short walk from the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also, the afternoon tea and biscuits was a really nice touch!

Location is perfect, the style, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff the room was small, the breakfast room little uncomfortable but cosy and the person serving the breakfast was a little stressed and in a hurry: on my holiday i dont like to feel hurried or chased. This did not fit the atmosphere of the hotel.

“A perfect hotel in a perfect location. The receptionist and staff were excellent and made our stay absolutely perfect. The hotel is a boutique and is fashionable and trendy but has practical touches. On arrival we were upgraded, unprompted, to an executive room. The room was big and spacious and the bed was too comfy and we had a double shower. The room had everything we needed and the complimentary coffees and umbrellas came in useful. All in all, this hotel is perfect for a romantic break and very central for all the tourist sites. Thank you for making our stay perfect.” John, Drighlighton, Bradford |
