Perfect location, beautiful view from our bay window, very friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent! and good location. Free parking was available by common parking space.

Extra bed was not so comfortable for adults and too soft and narrow.

1. The renovation was under way so it was not very comfortable. Hopefully it will be finished soon. 2. The breakfast is nothing special but overpriced. However when I complained about it the breakfast price was deleted from the bill.

Rooms were large and comfortable. Great location. Hotel staff warm and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and return.

No air conditioning and a bit noisy at times during the night with window open.

The hotel is nice. The service is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in Petite Paris which is ideal for site seeing in center Strasbourg. The terrace of hotel is just next to canal. We enjoy the view at breakfast.

Part of hotel is in re-construction during our staying. It makes noise, particular in morning. The top floor is too warm in summer.

Internet was a bit slow.

Location was excellent ~ Room was fab at first.... The doormen were by far the most helpful people at the hotel. Recp had no local knowledge and referred to the internet to tell me where to hire a bike from.

It was 28 degrees and Aircon was switched off by the Hotel. They would not switch it on. They did offer room change from one warm room to another. In the end they supplied a fan. No shower in room. A hand held hose to do hair. The roof top terrace on their web site is being converted into a Spa......

Loved the location. Perfect to explore all of Petite France. Also loved the unique quality of our room - architecture.

Temperature in our room was hard to regulate. We were too hot and the Air conditioning did not appear to be working. Had to open the window and there was a lot of noise outside.

The staff was exceptional;;;everyone from sebastian and the rest of the bell men and the bar keeps and breakfasr personel;..the restuarant staff... All amazing....

The staff said that the hotel may get 5 stars when the spa is finnished but if the stars are baced on the staff it is true...but the food no....in the restuarant...also I felt that the decor would refect a cenurties old quarter but inside is contemperary.. A little disconnected

The beautiful situation in this "Petite France" , the friendly staff ;the beautifull room with a exceptional view to the "Pont couverts" Nice breakfast

Beautiful large room overlooking the canal. Great position.

Lobby was blocked off as hotel is having building work done to install a spa. Whilst this didn't spoil our stay, it would have been nice to have been told beforehand. Also, tea & coffee making facilities in the room would have been good.

The need to change room because of a faulty shower. A bar that had limited hours.Badly controlled air conditioning;no fan without heating.Most unwelcoming restaurant. Overpriced for the facilities.Much better Hotels close by.

Bathroom ,lokation, view

The staff don't speak good English or German, the equipment of the room, such as furniture very old and not convinient if someone stays longer in the room and not only to sleep (except the Bed). I think that the rooms need a redekoration and furniture that you find in a 4 star hotel and not in a 2 star hotel , although the prices are for a 5 star hotel.

The staff and service were all top notch. They were all very well trained and very friendly.

If we stay in La Petite France again, we choose a hotel a bit more centrally located to the Cathedral. The hotel Regent is very nice and very unique, but it is at the very edge of La Peteite France.

Position

Unlike most other hotels in Strasbourg, which charge exorbitant prices during the days the European Parliament is in session (€140 for a mediocre 3-star hotel is not uncommon) the Regent gives what you pay for. It is beautifully designed, the location is great, the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast - if you´re willing to lay down the extra €22 - is spectacular. Plus, you have a huge choice of restaurants literally within a five minute walking distance.

The sauna and wellness section, which was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel, was closed for renovation. It would have been a decent move to inform any client ahead of the stay. Also - and this is not the hotel´s fault! - beware of ordering a taxi. The taxis charge from the minute they leave their station. By the time the taxi I had ordered arrived at the hotel, the meter already showed €8! The actual ride to the train station was only €3.50, so that´s a major rip-off.

Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, excellent location in the heart of Petite France.

Everything: staff was just great, very helpful; the room had a wonderful view on the Petite France and was very quiet; the place is close to everything worth visiting; the breakfast was magnificent, the dinner excellent as well.

Not much we did not like; maybe a bit expensive, and the selection of wines for the New Year dinner (set menu) could have been more inventive.

Best location in the old city's center,interior very modern,great staff,polite and smiling,good breakfast although for 22 euros/per person quite steep and could offer more fresh vegetables and fruit, fine gourmet restaurant but rather expensive, the deluxe room was very big, with a desk and sitting area,very comfy bed,nice bathroom with separate toilet.

The light in the rooms is very, very poor,small bulbs, for such a hotel the pillows and bedcover are from a synthetic material, very uncomfortable, the space in the wardrobe very small,high prices for the minibar and breakfast,quality of bathroom toilettries at best average.

The hotel itself is located in the city center, convenient for going for luch or dinner in one of the many local restaurants, shopping or just sightseeing. Nice view from the window onto one of the river arms. The room itself was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet was great. Very friendly staff, helped us with several requests.

The WiFi connection is extremely slow. I consider parking at 22eur per day and breakfast for 22eur per person somewhat pricey.
