Regent Petite France

The hotel location is a great one, on the small Petite France "island" between the river channels. The room we had was on a corner and had windows in two sides of the building giving us 2 nice views of the river instead of only one.

Price we paid was to high for the service offered. The hallway was recently renovated/painted and had a strong smell of paint that slipped a bit in to the room as well. I didn't liked the fact that I had to call reception to receive the bathrobes and slippers. The breakfast was ok but was spoiled by the fact that the empty plates were repeatedly missing, living us in the aukward situation of having food but no plate to put it onto. I'm recommending this hotel only based on the location, not on the service or price.

The situation of the hotel is absolutely great. The garage is a plus! The service was perfect and the room immense.

Where was the sauna?? And I thought the bathroom would be a little more up to date. I missed a hairdryer and a little luxury :)

It is very close to the centre of town,cathedral,shops,landmarks,rivers etc,all within walking distance.Very pretty site around especially now with the Christmas market and all the decorations.The hotel breakfast is nice but it is expensive for 22 euros each person.The main restaurant has fantastic food and they arranged for my daughters birthday cake,candles etc.as requested with no problem.

We had booked a Deluxe Room and was told at check-in that they have upgraded us to a Junior Suite.We were very excited and quickly very disappointed.The room was not up to standard for the price we pay for.Especially the toilet.The toilet door is chipped at the corners,scratches all over,the wall looked old and stained.The carpet of the room is old and dirty around.We were on the top floor and needed to walk up a flight of stairs from 2nd floor.There is always a unpleasant odour on the stairs,old,mouldy smell.Overall,I think the hotel is ok but not worth the rate they charged for(and they are one of the best in town!!)

Excellent food iun the restaurant and service overall

It is a modern hotel in a very beautiful setting, surrounded by an old city and water ways and lochs. Strasbourg also has an amazing cathedral!

This is the best located hotel in Strasbourg. In the heart of the tourist area, it is minutes from the European Parliament, the shopping areas and all major restaurants. The staff is very attentive, helpful and polite. The hotel sits on the water (river L'Ill), has a bar on the balcony that overlooks one of the most charming locations in Strasbourg, and has an excellent restaurant.

The rooms could use some additional shelves or drawers, as well as outlets.

The views were wonderful and very quiet.

We liked the comfort and cleanilness of this charming hotel and of course its location.

Location is great can walk everywhere, rooms are very spacious and well laid out.Very charming hotel blt right on the river Covered parking was an expensive 22 euros, however,one of the employees offerred to park the car free as long as you don't mind it being left out. It was parked for 2 days right in front of hotel.

Be sure to get printed direction or have GPS, last 3 blocks make hotel difficult to find, signs seem to indicate dead end street

Everything was perfect but restaurant(we could not stay there as we did not book it in advance), friendly staff,cleaness, silencious and spacious rooms.
