Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was very comfortable, quiet and exactly the right temperature. Very relaxing.

Restaurant closed on Sundays and Mondays : should have known in advance. As it happens we had a lovely meal nearby : there are loads of places to eat.

Beautiful room. Actually a suite. Spacious with lovely decor and view. We accepted an upgrade. Great breakfast with lovely outdoor area, weather permitting. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean. Excellent location.

Seemed strange not having the toilet in the large and well equiped bathroom. As we had a suite, the toilet was located in the outer room. A minor quibble for such a gracious accommodation.

Stayed in a suite in the 400 area of the hotel. Got a great deal on Booking.com, and it was so worth it!! This was a very large room, secluded and quiet, with windows opening onto a partial city view and partial canal view. Free wi-fi, a very comfortable queen size bed (which is rare in Europe, it seems most places like to shove two twins together for a "double") and tons of space with ample lighting options for the room. The carpet was clean and plush, and there were bathrobes and slippers set up in the closet for guest use. The room was exceedingly clean, and the toiletries were plentiful and good quality. The staff were all very accomodating, spoke English as soon as they noticed that was my native language, and offered assistance with both parking my car and handling my luggage without prompting from me. The valet also offered a choice of either free streetside parking or the garage for 23 Euro a night...nice to have this choice and not to arbitrarily have to pay this fee if you don't want to. :) This hotel is in a great Petite France locale, close to all points of major interest both shopping and cultural in the Petite France area and surrounding the Cathedral. Overall, a great visit and worth the money.

The hotel bar was next to deserted around midnight by the staff...there was only one gentleman on duty, and his knowledge of mixing drinks was severely limited. It was also not so easy to drive to the front of this hotel...all the surrounding streets look like pedestrian only avenues, but if you come in by the Marco Polo restaurant side, there's a bridge you can cross to get to the entrance of the hotel to check in.

the price, horribly expensive for value. The bed was not excellent. It was very hot in the room, no AC available, had to open the very small window, noise of the street prevent us to sleep well. Shower fell apart. No free water bottles available. The lobby and bar have no charm.

Every staff member that we encountered was so helpful and courteous. They couldn't do enough for you!

Our room had a bathtub with a hand shower(European style)....my husband missed a regular shower...which our daughters did have in there room

1. The renovation was under way so it was not very comfortable. Hopefully it will be finished soon. 2. The breakfast is nothing special but overpriced. However when I complained about it the breakfast price was deleted from the bill.

The hotel is nice. The service is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in Petite Paris which is ideal for site seeing in center Strasbourg. The terrace of hotel is just next to canal. We enjoy the view at breakfast.

Part of hotel is in re-construction during our staying. It makes noise, particular in morning. The top floor is too warm in summer.

Internet was a bit slow.

Location was excellent ~ Room was fab at first.... The doormen were by far the most helpful people at the hotel. Recp had no local knowledge and referred to the internet to tell me where to hire a bike from.

It was 28 degrees and Aircon was switched off by the Hotel. They would not switch it on. They did offer room change from one warm room to another. In the end they supplied a fan. No shower in room. A hand held hose to do hair. The roof top terrace on their web site is being converted into a Spa......

Loved the location. Perfect to explore all of Petite France. Also loved the unique quality of our room - architecture.

Temperature in our room was hard to regulate. We were too hot and the Air conditioning did not appear to be working. Had to open the window and there was a lot of noise outside.

The staff was exceptional;;;everyone from sebastian and the rest of the bell men and the bar keeps and breakfasr personel;..the restuarant staff... All amazing....

The staff said that the hotel may get 5 stars when the spa is finnished but if the stars are baced on the staff it is true...but the food no....in the restuarant...also I felt that the decor would refect a cenurties old quarter but inside is contemperary.. A little disconnected
